Description of Work: Installed two bathroom faucets provided by me and gave me estimates for future work. I originally called him to replace my water heater, which was in a location that would have required him to disconnect gas pipes from my furnace in order to remove the tank. He is not licensed for this and said so. He had a professional manner and was responsive to my inquiries. For straight-forward plumbing work, I intend to call him again.

This water heater was installed behind the furnace which would have been fine if I was able to lift a 50 gallon waterheater over my head!! I'm glad the original installer was able to deal with the HVAC issues in order to complete this job.

Description of Work: Company member arrived on time, as indicated and, after a brief convo, he set 2 work 2 B done. | |Water heater gas transmission had been DCed by gas company, since there was a leak. | |Within 30 minutes, Spearing & Son technician had refitted gas line 2 water heater from shutoff 2 unit. | |Smooth operation, and technician said I could pay this month when my SSA check came in on 6/25/2014. | |I have known this company and their employees for over 24 years. KEVIN & JACK CAME OUT, FOUND & FIXED 2 GAS LEAKS, AND CHECKED ALL GAS LINES FOR LEAKS. KEVIN ALSO POINTED OUT A WATER LEAK IN THE GARAGE, WATER PIPES HE SAW IN THE ATTIC THAT WE SHOULD INSULATE AND GAVE US ADVICE ON REPLACING PIPES WHEN WE REPLACE OUR KITCHEN SINK. OUR APPOINTMENT WAS FOR 10-11AM, KEVIN ARRIVED AT 10AM. BOTH KEVIN & JACK CAME OUT AND WERE VERY PLEASANT.

THE FATHER AND THE SON CAME AND CHECKED THE SHOWER DRAIN LINE. THEN THEY WENT UNDER THE HOUSE TO CHECK THE PIPES. THEY DETERMINED THAT THE NOISE I WAS HEARING WAS JUST EXPANSION OF THE PIPES. THEY DIDN'T CHARGE ME FOR THE SERVICE.

THEY WERE EXTREMELY HONEST AND EVEN TOOK CARE OF MINOR WORK FOR FREE. OTHER PLUMBERS WOULD HAVE REAMED US ON THESE ITEMS GIVEN THE CHANCE, BUT NOT SPEARING.
