Eric arrived on time. was professional but also personable. Deal was only for the service call so the $125. was for labor. I was very pleased and would use him again.

There was an additional fee for their service. It seemed a bit more than what I would have thought it would be. I was not quite sure what the deal actually covered. I was pleased with the work they did do. The technician was very nice to work with. Scheduling went smoothly.

Eric contacted me within 24 hours to schedule the appointment, showed up on time, and explained the repairs to me prior to completing them. I had it done and it kept leaking. He had to redo it more than once. He fixed it once or twice, and then he finally had to take it all out and redo it. It kind of made a mess in my kitchen. He did fix it eventually and he didn't charge me more. But he didn't take anything off either. It was a pretty good price in the first place, but it took a while to get it right. I am pretty sure I had to wait for him to make the appointment, but he was there when the appointment time came. I am not sure if I would use him again, but plumbers are hard to find. I haven't really found a good plumber.

Fine. The cost of the services was about a couple hundred of dollars. It was done about a year ago. They do a good job.

Eric and Chad were awesome. They arrived at my house on time (called before so that I only had to leave work at the last minute). They inspected the crawl space and the garage. They helped me move a bunch of boxes to continue to explore the issues before making the repair. Eric was very gracious about my Angie's list coupon. He also informed me that he could help with any drywall issues that I uncover! I will definitely keep their business card and call them whenever I need another plumber!

They were punctual and professional. They were very neat and clean. We were re-doing this house and they offered to come in through the garage. They didn't want to track over the carpet. They were very considerate. I would highly recommend them.

I wish I had investigated quality of toilet in more detail. I got what the deal was for however the toilet is of low value. Toilet still runs for a few seconds two months later....may need followup service. The gentlemen who installed were very professional. They also installed new kitchen sink faucet I had for $75 labor.

Spearing & Son Plumbing met all deadlines. Arrived as scheduled, promptly did the work (about an hour) with explanation of what was being done. They politely left a business card for any future contact. | |SIDEBAR: When they departed, I eventually noticed that the toilet seat was plastic and would bend. Fearing the top of the seat could possibly, I would have preferred heavier make of seat. However, believing that the plastic seat was part of the overall deal, I did not call the company. Instead I chose a stronger "wood-like" replacement, which I purchased at a near-by Home Depot store. Hopefully others who might feel the same, prefering a more solid seat, where attentative enough to initially notice the difference. | |

That was great and it was good. They did not drop anything on the carpet. They had to take the old toilet over the carpeting to get to the garage they were good.

Pretty straightforward; everything went as planned. I’m happy with their work.

They were on time, clean, quick to do the job. I asked them for an estimate on my sink while they were at my house installing the toilet and they said it was a quick fix they could do for free. They were very kind and would use them in a heart beat again. Highly recommend!!!

Eric and a partner arrived at my home, and took a look at the toilet we wanted replaced. Eric said he did not think it would work, but would know more once he took the original out. After checking, he confirmed that my upstairs bathroom has a 'back ejector' toilet (the hole is in the wall and not the floor), and that the toilet in this offer would not work without extensive plumbing work to my home. He suggested instead that for $200 he could rebuild the insides of the toilet tank we already have, making it 'like new'. We went with this option. He also re-sealed the area around the wall and floor. During this process, we had water fall into the office below the bathroom, and he and his partner cleaned the water and left everything spotless. He also said that if Angie's List had a question about this, to please call him directly. I sent in pictures with my initial request, but if more are needed please let me know.

This was the second time we used Eric to do work for us. We have been very pleased with the finished product both times and thought his quotes were fair. We recently moved into a new house and tore out an outdated light box in our kitchen, leaving us with a large hole above the island. Eric drywalled and textured the ceiling--which was impressive because it was a texture not commonly used in houses. He matched it perfectly! He then installed pendant lights above the island. In the basement, we had him install can lights to make it brighter. In addition, we had removed a wet bar on our own and had him cap the water lines and drain and have them recessed behind the wall. He then patched the drywall where the water lines and drains used to be. In our den, he added a center light box that goes with our wall switch so we can install either a ceiling fan or overhead light whenever we decide what we want. We are both extremely happy with the results and have already been recommending this company to our friends.

Very good. I love the fact that this company was on time and very detail oriented. I also appreciated that Eric, the owner, was very intelligent about how to most effectively install the plumbing and complete the carpentry. I highly recommend this company to others.

He resealed all connections from bathroom tub to the drain. He diagnosed correctly that the outside faucet pipe had frozen, and thus a leak.

They came out on a Saturday afternoon because we got a leak and didn't even charge for it. He was just great. He also put a hot water heater in for us. What we had was that the pipe froze the year before and they replaced it. When I went to turn it on, it broke and it should never have broken so they just came out and fixed it. It was a year after they put it in.

Scheduling was quick and easy through Angie's list quotes. I had used Spearing & Son many times before, but it is now under new ownership. The new owner seems as friendly and professional as the original. The work was all done satisfactorily.

Service and work was fine, we were very satisfied with the work they did. Their prices are reasonable and the work was good.
