Description of Work: Called Showecker Masonry to get an estimate on extending my patio about 20 feet. Set up a time for them to come out and provide an estimate. Was called that day stating they would be unable to keep the appt. Set up another appointment for a few days later. This time they were a no call no show wasting my time.

Description of Work: Bob will be removing a window and cutting the brick on the house to a new size so a door can be installed. Him and his wife came out on a Saturday to give me the estimate and to go over the details of the job. I will be using his services as soon as I reach that point in my renovation.

Description of Work: We had discovered a couple of cracks in the brick of the house due to the house settling. After getting it "lifted" with piers, we called Bob Showecker to come and estimate the repairs. And knowing his past work that he has done on our house (front stoop repair and chimney repair), we knew we would hire him again. He came and performed the work with the aid of a helper and was in an out in two days. He took out the bricks that had cracked and replaced them with new mortar and after doing the acid wash today, you can't even tell that something had happened. Bob is very professional and very reasonable and does fantastic work. We will not hesitate again to contact them if we need more work done.

Description of Work: I CONTACTED SHOWECKER CONSTRUCTION FOR A QUOTE ON CHIMNEY TUCKPOINTING, FOUNDATION MASONRY WORK, AND PORCH COLUMN/RAILING INSTALLATION. WE SCHEDULED A SATURDAY AFTERNOON TIME AND THEY DIDN''T ARRIVE. THEY CALLED AN HOUR OR SO LATER AND SAID THAT SOMETHING HAD COME UP ON ANOTHER JOB SITE AND THEY WEREN''T ABLE TO MAKE IT OUT TO US. THEY CALLED THE NEXT MORNING AND SCHEDULED TO COME OUT AT 5 P.M. THAT DAY. THEY NEVER SHOWED UP AND WE HAVEN''T HEARD FROM THEM SINCE. THAT WAS APRIL 6 - IT''S NOW APRIL 23. IF THEY ARE TOO BUSY AND OVER-SCHEDULED, ALL THEY HAD TO DO WAS CALL AND LET US KNOW THAT, NOT LEAVE US DANGLING AND WONDERING WHAT HAPPENED.
