They showed up on time. I had them pack everything for me. Nothing was broken. I would have them pack me again. My new place was much smaller but no walls were scratched. The price would obviously have been less had I not had them pack everything. When your possessions have to be placed in storage you’re charged for the time to offload from the truck and put it into storage. You aren’t charged for storage unless it goes beyond 30 days.

Moved from Plainfield to Carmel. Plenty of employees. The work got done.

The entire experience was wonderful. I am sorry I didn't record the names of the two gentlemen who did the work. I worked with Jason Sherman to schedule the work. When I first contacted Jason, I told him I had an Angie's list coupon, but it turns out it did not apply to the work I was requesting. Regardless, Jason gave me the discount on the hourly rate, which was much appreciated. My daughter moved from our home to an apartment so it was a relatively small job. They movers arrived on time and had her things loaded in an hour. (They were not asked to pack her things.) Because they were so efficient, they were going to arrive at the apartment before the office was open and my daughter had access to the key, resulting in an extended wait for the movers. Rather than have them just sit, I asked if they would be willing to make a second stop at the roommate's home and pick up those things also. They readily agreed. They had the roommate loaded in under an hour and headed to the apartment. The apartment manager was performing the walk-through with my daughter as they unloaded the truck. They helped identify issues with the apartment (dings on the walls, issues with the flooring) that needed to be recorded. They were professional, courteous, clean, and very pleasant to work with even though the weather was hot and humid and I was grumpy. I so much appreciated their flexibility and willingness to make the extra stop for the roommate. Sherman Moving and Storage is on my favorites list and I will definitely use them again if the need arises.

I can't say enough positive things about Sherman Moving and Storage! Our family needed two trucks to move from our home to both a temporary residence as well as moving the majority of our items an hour-and a half away to their long-term storage. The three movers showed up during the agreed time and worked NON-STOP for 5 hours to complete the move. Our items were treated with care and the movers were extremely considerate and helpful as we made this transition to the Indianapolis area. Arrived on time and worked diligently to move items. Had several large furniture items and handled them with care.

Everything went well but I was over charged for the service. When I telephoned the company, they apologized and immediately provided a refund.

I believed we would have had more packing done prior to the moving crew's arrival. But Two days before our move, I realized that much more packing had to be done. I called Sherman Moving and they added two additional packers to my crew, for a total of 6 people and 2 trucks. The arrived on time and after a brief tour, started into packing and loading. We where all loaded by 1:00 PM and after a brief lunch break (off the clock) and a short drive to our new home, the unloading began. By 5:00 PM all the unloading and clean up was complete. Not a single item was damaged and that included several glass shelve units and large lamps and mirrors. The crew was professional and pleasant to work with. I would definitely recommend Sherman Moving & Storage.

Sherman Moving is great. Their staff is super friendly and easy to work with. They did a great job and all of my things were is excellent shape after the move. Only con is they are a little pricey but you get what you pay for.

They are good people and well-experienced. The price is more than what I expected however they did an efficient job. I really admire their industriousness.

We had two trucks and four movers. We can’t say enough good things about them. They did not damage anything, and there were no marks on any walls. If you want a quality moving company, you need to hire Sherman!

The move was terribly underestimated in terms of time required and cost. Estimated 1 day to wrap and box and 1 day to load and unload for around $3,100. Actual was a total of 3 days and $8,000+ bill. Was partially adjusted but still extremely expensive for this type of move.

They did a great job moving us to our rental and dropping off items at family member's houses. We will hire them for our final move later this summer. They were very careful and moved my heavy upright piano up steps and inside with no trouble. Our king would not fit up the stairs so we had to add a stop at the last minute to have it stored elsewhere and they were accommodating. They arrived 8 minutes early and worked hard the entire 5 hour move.

Con - Spent much more than I was expecting. Pros - Wow, where to start. The team has obviously worked together for a long time and they work well together. I've never seen Tetris played with furniture and appliance until moving day. They fit more in that truck then was possible ... yes you read that right. They really did pack it well. What was more impressive was the way they got the appliances into the basement. I believe we gave a 1/8" - 1/4" or margin on the large one and yet they made it work. To address the CON and price .. I really should have expected it to take more time then the 3 hours I purchased. I'll forget the bill shortly, but not the quality of the move. If we need someone again, they will be my first call.

Great, would hire again without any hesitation

The workers were nice and worked hard. Overall it was good but after the movers left I am missing my tv soundbar and a case of laundry detergent. That was disturbing considering I let them have a lot of things. I still have the subwoofer and remote but no soundbar. I watched the soundbar being taken to the truck as well as the case of laundry detergent from the hallway .

The move went smoothly. The team was professional and stayed until everything was completed.
