The insurance company sent this company out. They put their fans in, were extremely courteous and helpful. They checked everything to make sure it was okay, got everything dry, and we were satisfied.

The job took a lot longer than I thought it would, I thought they would use some kind of a machine but they ended up doing it by hand. Regardless, they were very thorough and did a great job!

We left a key for them to use and the next time we came in town the carpets were cleaned all the way to the baseboard. They had clearly taken the time to get in the corners and get everything off the floors. We're very happy to use Westphal's services again.

We came home from Mexico to a sewage flooded basement at the same time as returning with a medical emergency. Joel was very responsive to the situation. He took responsibility for the basement while I took care of the medical emergency. They had no problem continuing to store items until I returned from a second trip and had time to move back into the basement.

I called several companies and they are the only ones who showed up. They knew what to do and how to do it. I was pleased with the way they cleaned my basement. They left the fans in the basement about four days.

They came out to do insurance work. The guy in charge of the kitchen remodeling was extremely rude and unprofessional. It seemed like they were squeezing us in in between jobs and had to come back several times. Only one of the workers seemed to care about the work and customer service.

It went okay. They were friendly. They were able to dry the basement in the time frame they had originally told me. They cleaned up well when the work was done.

We had replaced a toilet on the second floor of our home and the pipe was not standard. We ended up having a lot of water throughout the house. It was about 10 pm on a Monday night and my husband called Service Masters. They were at the house within 2 hours. Jason was very helpful in a stressful time and explained everything to us. Jason was supposed to have help but the other guy did not show up so Jason handled it all himself. We were very impressed. They applied turbodryers, dehumidifiers, and anti-microbial agents to all three floors of our house over about 10 days. We had standing water on all three floors and we were very concerned about our original hardwood floors. They spent over a week restoring the house and managed to save the floors through the use of drying mats.

What should have taken 1 day took about 3 months. They would claim I wasn't there when they came by or that there was some other emergency as to why it took so long. When they were here they were rude and I had to have them come back to clean mud and dirt stains off of the carpet that they had tracked in, they also had to redo the stairs because you could clearly see all of the tacks that they used. I would not recommend this company.

Their clean up was very well done and they were specifically very good with responsiveness.

They came the next day and set up their blowers and dehumidifier to dry out the basement. Very helpful and informed us what we needed to do next. They came back 2 days later to put up equipment and used sanitizer. Approx. $100 a day.

Although my experience ended on a positive note, my initial reaction during the first couple of days was not a positive one. This was because I felt that they were too anxious to tear out the kitchen floor and plaster walls without giving the drying process adequate time. I was concerned enough, that at my own expense (not insurance) I called another contractor for a second opinion. After gathering additional knowledge from the second contractor, I insisted on certain steps which Servicemaster complied with, and from that point forward my experience with them was very positive. They responded well, and even went to the extreme of trying an experimental process, at their expense, for a couple of weeks to complete the drying of the kitchen floor. In the end we were able to save the kitchen floor, the hardwoods and the plaster walls which pleased us greatly. Their personnel were very friendly, timely, and good about keeping us informed. They billed insurance so I can't comment on price.

THEY WERE REFERRED TO ME BY ARS PLUMBERS. THEY RESPONDED QUICKLY AND CAME AND DID THE WORK PROMPTLY AND EFFECIENTLY AND AT A PRICE I CONSIDERED FAIR. THE ONLY QUIRK WAS THAT THEY WERE OBSESSED WITH GETTING THE ANGIE'S LIST EVALUATION FORM COMPLETED AND EVEN WANTED ME TO DO IT BEFORE THEY DID THE WORK, WHICH I REFUSED.
