+ -1 moreI returned to the store after calling the warranty company who informed me that they could not help me until the in-store warranty was up. ?I spoke to a woman and asked if I could exchange it for another drill. ?She accused me of "stealing" saying it's not the same one I purchased because it had more than "8 days of wear and tear" on it. ?I attempted to show her the receipt with the serial number and she refused to even look at it and said I could "get the **** out" of her store. ?I asked to speak to her boss and she said she was the boss. ?I asked her how corporate might like it and she said she didn't care it wasn't a corporate owned store. ?I told her I was not leaving without a replacement as their policy states. ?She called the cops. ?I began video taping this a few minutes before when she refused to look at the receipt. ?I was not rude and didn't lose my temper. ?It is unimaginable.
Description of Work: They sold me a drill with and a 3 year warranty. ?The drill quit working 8 days later.

+ -1 moreOver two weeks later, I received three phone calls before 8am on a Saturday. Sears was trying to let me know the workman was on his way. I called the service guy and told him I'd cancelled this work order weeks ago, then called the customer service line and asked them to make sure they cancelled this work order.
Description of Work: Our home warranty company arranged for Sears to come do some appliance repairs. They didn't show or call on the day we'd scheduled for, and they randomly assigned our work to a different day ten days out. I'd taken the day off for this appointment, and could not take off the next day they could come over. They told me I'd have to wait weeks for a Saturday appointment. I cancelled the work order, and told the warranty company I didn't want to work with Sears.

+ -1 morevery well, it was more expensive than I had hoped for but the element is one of the more pricey fixes
Description of Work: the service tech arrived on time and was in and out in about 20 minutes. He quickly diagnosed the problem and replaced the heating element on the dryer.
