Screens N Things

Description of Work: I called Shane in the morning and left a voice mail asking for a quote to replace the screens in two sliding screen doors. He called back later in the day, quoted me the price which included the Angie's List discount of $20. After getting my address, he said he was doing a job in my neighborhood late that afternoon, and if it was okay he could stop by after and install the new screens. If not he could do it later in the week. We had him buy that evening. It only took him about 30" to replace the screens (our sliding screen doors are a bit more difficult to remove than most, otherwise, he'd been done in 20" or so). Very friendly and courteous (he even asked if he could walk around the house to the patio since it was raining hard and he didn't want to drip on our floors; of course, we had him come through the house). Shane did a good job. The total price was $9 more per screen than the price I got from the local hardware for the same screen material; plus, the hardware store said it would take 3 - 4 weeks (I'm assuming that means they'd keep the doors for that period--I don't think I can make a reservation for screen replacement). And, I'd have to take out, transfer, and put the doors back in myself. Shane offered an excellent bargin for good work.
