Shane was prompt in making an appointment, and arrived on time. He provided a timely and reasonable estimate. The morning of the job, he arrived promptly, and completed the job in an efficient manner. When I noticed a small tear in one of the corners of a panel, I contacted Shane by e-mail, to which he immediately responded. He set up a time to come out and repair that one panel. Overall, our experience was very good, and we would recommend Shane to anyone needing screen work done.

They had good communication and the screens were mostly done to my satisfaction. A couple screens aren't in as tight as the others but overall, everything turned out ok. It's an improvement from what I had before.

As an update to my earlier report, I'd like to add that several weeks after Shane installed my new screening, I noticed that one of the screens had a small gap. I contacted Shane who scheduled an appointment and came out and rescreened the window at no charge. I also had him install more screening. Wish I could hire Shane to assist me with all my household problems!

I purchased some "coupons" for the big deal for screen repair. For $150, I got 8 screens re-screened. I had one more screen, which he did for another $20.He was prompt and even called to see if he could come early. He did a good job and got the job done quickly. It was a good experience and I would definitely use him again.The only reason I gave a B on price instead of an A is that the coupon stated the screens had to be pre-removed to be worked on; I would have liked to see this included in the price.That's just a quibble; he did a nice job and I recommend this service.

Shane was very good with communication and scheduling. Did a great job with the screen on the sliding doors. Also built a screen for the screen door on the porch. Had some issues but was prompt and came out to make the needed repairs. I would definitely recommend him and use the service again in the future.

We found the deal on Angie's List. The owner was super friendly and helpful. He did a good job. We were painting a door so I had him not put the screen back in. When we were done, I couldn't get the screen back in. He came back out and did it for me at no additional charge.

All went well as he came and measured for the screens. After such a promising start, we had a major problem when he moved out of town leaving our order in limbo. Angies list helped us find him again, and he placed the order and came back to install the screens. The screens are all they are advertised to be, and the installation is excellent.

Shane was very professional beginning with our first encounter when he promptly arrived at the designated time to give me an estimate until the end of the project.I knew that he was a few weeks booked and it was no problem having to wait for a few more weeks.Unexpectantly, he called to say that he had another job that had to reschedule and that his crew wouldbe able to start within a couple of days. The crew arrived and promptly took down the facing and old screens.This is a big porch requiring a lot of time and the crew worked non-stop.The crew came back the next day to place new screens and once finished they cleaned up after themselves.Shane himself came on the final day to hang a new screen door that we needed.When the crew left one of the men came to me and gave me his business card which was for a company calledH&H home improvement. Since I had hired Screens n Things I was a little confused. They informed me that they do all of Shane's larger porches.I have no complaints with the quality of work that H&H home improvement did for me as they do quality, professional work.I guess my only complaint is that I felt Shane should have told me beforehand that he would be subcontracting the workout to another company. I hired Screens n things based on the reports I found on this company on Angies List.I believe that I was a little deceived since the work was actually done by another company. I am still satisfied with the quality of the job and the professionalism of H& H and would hire them to do other jobs for me.Next time I will be asking the contractor that comes to give me an estimate if it will be him doing thework or rather be subcontracted out to another company.Fortunately my project was completed in a timely manner and I am very pleasedwith the quality of work.When the job was completed Shane did bring up the fact that he uses H&H home improvement for some of his jobs.I really felt like this should have been mentioned to me before the company came out so I could have done my research onthem like I did on ScreensNThings and made the decision for myself.

Although we decided on someone else to do the work on our screened in porch, mainly because we are having other services performed and it was easier for coordination, I would recommend Screens N Things. Shane is knowledgeble of screen repair, very professional, responsive, and reasonably priced. It is evident based on the reviews posted to Angie's List, he provides quality work and hoping our paths will cross again for future projects.

I hired Screens and things through the deal they ran through Angies List to fix a few damaged screens. They were prompt, polite, and really nice to work with. As it turns out I was way below the threshold for the deal for the three basement screens damaged from animals. To make up for the difference they put a much stronger durable mesh screen. To me that was customer service and satisfaction at its best and the reason I will be calling them again for all my screen repairs.
