Not knowing how much time to allow for this job, I purchased two Big Deals to cover 4 hours of stump grinding. Mr. Schott was very honest and said that he completed the work in two hours and I should ask for a refund of the other $99 coupon. I did and it was refunded entirely. I liked how he emailed me immediately after I purchased the Big Deals and said he would get to the job in the next two weeks. He followed up and performed the work satisfactorily. I would definitely hire him again for other tree work.

The service turned out great. He showed up on time and was a nice guy.

John Schott gave excellent service from start to finish! He was quick to get me scheduled, called a day ahead for verification and was right on time. Pleasant, professional, fair and hard working... I couldn't have found a better person to do the job! John not only finished under the two hours he felt it would take, but left the job site looking immaculate as well. Others I have hired in this profession never came close to taking such pride in their work as did John. Highly recommended!

lI emailed the company for an estimate on having an above ground pool removed. Mr. Schott called immediately to schedule a time but I didn't get his messages right away. He then showed up at the house because he was in the area and offered to give me an estimate immediately. After looking at the pool he offered to do the job for $600. I was anxious to have the pool removed so I agreed to the price. He worked very h****** one of the hottest days of the year draining the pool, tearing it down and hauling everything to his truck. I was very pleased to have the pool gone and he was very pleasant and hard working. Everyone that has asked how much I paid to have it done was shocked at the price though.

It went very well. He let us know immediately that it would be about a week before he could get to us. He called back in the early part of the next week, and came the next day. He was very professional, punctual, kind, and did exactly what we asked him to do.

I purchased one of Angie's List big deals for 2 hours of Schott's Services tree services. They contacted me immediately to set up the work and it was done within a week or two. I wanted 3 stumps ground out in my yard. They got it all done and the work was perfect - my stumps were gone with perfect mulch leftover read to be seeded immediately. After grinding out the 3 stumps they even called asking if there was anything else that needed to be done in my yard. I thought it was a great deal to get all three stumps ground out. I've paid the same amount before to have just one stump ground. I would highly recommend this company again for tree/yard service.

He came on time did his job efficiently . He was polite. Also he was careful of my lawn since he had to come around to the back of my house to get to the lower level. I would definitely use him again.

It went great. John Schott was very accommodating. Made it very easy for us when scheduling a time that was convenient for us. He was incredibly professional and punctual. Most importantly, the services i purchased expired the previous week, but he still honored the voucher without having to pay an additional amount. We plan to continue working with John on an ongoing basis, and recommend him to others.

Called for info. Got an immediate response. Sceduled appointment a couple of days later. Picked up a large pile of junk. Swept up the area when finished. Very pleased. .

John Schott was great about scheduling and called back several times to make sure we had a mutually convenient time.

John was there promptly and proceeded to use a chainsaw to remove an old, rotten stump. He then ground out the roots as well as the roots of several old bushes that had been removed a couple weeks ago. This was a project that had been offered through an Angie's List Big Deal for $99. I paid an additional $15 to have the stump hauled away. John was finished in about an hour. Everything went smoothly.

We purchased the "big deal" for trenching. I spoke with Mr. Schott on the phone before purchasing the big deal to make sure he could perform the job per our job specs. He was very responsive when I called him before I purchased the deal, but then once I purchased the deal, the company never called me to schedule an appointment. Ultimately, we changed our project plans and didn't need the original service we had purchased this for. We could have used it for other projects around our house, but after 2 weeks of not hearing from the company, we chose to get a refund instead.

I was happy with his punctuality, service attitude, and flexibility. I would use this service again when needed.

We had a large tree stump in our front yard, and debris mounded up around it. John got right back to me and scheduled quickly. He showed up and went over the job process with me. He ground the stump down below grade, even getting the large roots from the stump, graded the land and removed all of the debris and hauled it away. John is very nice yet professional as well. When completed he wanted me to inspect his work and make absolute certain it was to my likings. He exceeded our expectations and I will be using him in the Spring to help with additional work.

He was punctual & called ahead because he was late due to another job. He was very helpful. We explained what was needed & he did it, with my husbands & my help. Overall, he provided excellent service - very polite & professional.

He was very personable and arrived on time. We showed him what we wanted removed--one item was a very heavy gas grill--and he just took over and started loading everything in the truck without supervision or assistance!

Excellent, came in a hauled all of the pieces away and were very thorough. Nothing left behind and no trace of being on the property.

Having accumulated numerous stumps over the years, my wife and I both felt as though the place was beginning to look like a battle ground. Therefore, my wife found Schott's Services on the Angie's list and purchased 4 hours of worth of stump grinding. In speaking to Mr. Schott over the phone, I explained to him that we had a large number of stumps in our yard and that having operated a stump grinder before I felt as though he wouldn't be able to get all of them in the allotted 4 hour purchase. With this in mind, Mr. Schott asked me to pick out the stumps that I felt were most important and to mark them in some manner and that he would be out and work through what he could do in 4 hours. Well... on the scheduled work date Mr. Schott contacted me on the phone two hours into the job to say that he had completed the grinding process on the 7 stumps I had marked but that I still had 2 hours of work left on my purchase and if I wanted him too he would work on the other stumps that were in the yard. These were not little stumps either in fact the majority of them were 24" in diameter. I can't stress enough how impressed I was upon my return to my house to find that Mr. Schott was able to complete a total of 14 stumps in the allotted 4 hour time frame. It really says a lot for a company when they call to tell you they have completed everything that you have asked for and yet still want to fulfill their obligation. I mean really, this company could have left after completing those stumps that I had marked and I would not have known any different upon my return. This is a very honest hard working company that you can count on and I will definitely use them again when something else comes up.

John did a fantastic job. I would recommend this company to anybody.

John was punctual, courteous, and very professional. I would have no hesitation in recommending his work.

We had a coupon. The amount of junk that was to be removed exceeded the coupon amount, so in asking for the remainder to be removed the price was doubled, even though it wasn't double the junk or time to remove it. It was seemingly an arbitrary amount of money and also excessive. Lesson learned was to negotiate for the whole job before work commences.

It was great. I purchased a Big Deal from Angie's List in July. It was due to expire this week. I called Jon on Monday and he arrived on Tuesday morning to haul everything away. He stated that he recycles what he can. He carried the 32-inch tube TV from an upstairs bedroom. I had brought everything else to the driveway and the garage. He completed the haul in 30 minutes. He was very professional and easy to talk to. I will definitely use him again.

John arrived when he said and after meeting and greeting, he began on the pile I had ready in my driveway. I had an old wooden fence in eight foot sections, three pallets, broken furniture, trash and a water softner. It was raining and I helped with the fence hauling from the yard to the driveway. The broken water softner came with the house when I bought it in1991 and he finally removed it. This was not an easy task because of size and shape of my basement stairs and boxes. He couldn't use his dolly and literally carried it out the back door, across the deck, through the yard and to the truck. This was quite a distance. My only disappointment was that he brought a trailer bigger than a pick up truck. I wasn't sure if we were filling the whole thing. But not since I just paid for a pickup truck load. I probably could have filled the whole thing so at one point he said that was enough.
