John Schott did all the work himself in one very hot day. He was polite and professional, painstakingly hand-spreading 15 yards of mulch on his hands and knees. He said he would make my much-neglected beds look nice and he did. I'm very happy with the results and would certainly call him again.

I had a project in my yard that I needed completed pretty quickly. I messaged John via Angie's List with the type of work I required and asked what his timeline was. Of all of the providers I reached out to, he is not only the only one to respond, but he did so via phone within less than 30 minutes of my request. Unfortunately, he is already scheduling out a little farther than my project can wait, or I'd gladly use his services based on the responsiveness and professionalism. Next time I need something done to my landscaping, I'll defintiely reach out to him for help.

It went great. They called ahead and asked if they could come early, due to a cancellation, and they were efficient, polite, and double-checked what was to be hauled before loading the truck.

John and his helper showed up on time, hauled away everything I asked and were very considerate of my walls and carpet. The amount of space they allotted on the trailer was a lot larger than I anticipated. I should have found more stuff to throw away! I was very pleased with the result.

He also does other miscellaneous items for me as well.

John was very prompt at returning my initial call on Wed. 7/11/13. We talked about what I needed done and he quoted me a very reasonable price. He said he could come by on Sunday 7/14 if that would work for me. We scheduled the work for Sunday. John called on Saturday to give me a time frame for his arrival. He called me again on Sunday as he was heading my way, which was right on the time he had set. He arrived and after I showed him what I needed removed he and his helper got right to work. He was very cordial and professional. He did a great job. I will use his services again in future and will recommend him to anyone who asks if I know a good hauling service.

Very well. They were very nice, cleared things out very efficiently and had no problem when I found a few more things to ad to the pickup.

We read about John in your Angie's List catalog. My friend contacted John to do this work. John called back immediately, made arrangements to visit the house and assess the contents, then gave a quote for the work all in the same trip. He called and communicated well throughout the process. John returned on the 4th of July (!) as he is very busy and wished to get this work done for us. John and his family member, Joe, were efficient, friendly, very hard working despite high humidity and heat, and smiled throughout the process. We recommend him very highly!!

How did it go? WONDERFUL! I was amazed at how quickly and efficiently John worked. I read about Schott Services/John Schott in the Angie's List magazine and gave him a call. He was quick to return my call and come out to give an estimate. He completed the work yesterday and did a great job. He cleaned up so thoroughly after his work, not even a branch or stray leaf was left in the yard. I really appreciated John's professionalism and for actually doing what he was paid to do. I had such a terrible experience with another landscape company that it made me apprehensive about calling someone else. But I'm happy that I called John Schott Services and I would highly recommend him.

We were very happy with the work done by John and his young helper. Our driveway is tricky so they had to walk further than might be usual without complaint. We would definitely use his service again.

John was prompt in his communication and quickly cleared the waste out of my lawn. He checked to make sure I was satisfied before he left. John worked very quickly and efficiently!

Very fast, friendly, professional. We had lots of rotting lumber infested with carpenter ants and a very junky garage, all of which (the items I specified) John Schott and his assistant, Joe loaded into their truck and trailer in short order. They did some sweeping afterward, which I did not ask them to do. John and Joe were very efficient, and able to lift heavy loads easily and toss them into their truck. John called 2 or 3 times to let me know what time he would be arriving, and arrived when he predicted he could. The large truck and trailer can be maneuvered with precision by John Schott into a very tight and narrow space with no room to spare. They made the price for service very clear at the outset, and if I added any extra, they made it clear how much would be added to the bill. Pleasure to do business with Schott Services.

John does a wonderful job!! The lawn looks so good after he has finished. The price is higher than he would normally charge as we are further off his route. However he told us up front the reason and we chose to still go with his service based on the great reviews he has received. We are very happy.

We had five large limbs come out of our Beech tree during the storm on Sunday, and I needed to get the debris cleaned up. I was already in contact with tree service companies to check out the health of the tree so I asked them for quotes on the hauling, but they were a bit high so I jumped on Angie's List to see what I could find. I contacted four top-rated companies in the 'hauling' category, and John was the only one to e-mail me back! He very promptly gave me a quote, which I ultimately agreed to, and he said he'd be able to come by the same day if 7 or 8 that evening wasn't too late. I was anxious to get the debris hauled away, so I happily agreed. John stayed in contact with me throughout the day, promptly responding to questions I had. He showed up right on time and surveyed the pile. In addition to the "new" debris from the storm I had originally asked him about, I also showed him another pile I had in the wooded area behind the house. He gave me a new quote to do it all, and I again happily agreed. John immediately got to work, and moved fast! He dumped all the new debris into his truck, and then started hauling the second pile up from the back of the house. Once he got everything in the truck, he even raked the driveway and used his blower to completely clean up after himself. The entire time John was extremely professional and very hard-working. I am thrilled to have not only the new debris out of my driveway, but also to have my wooded area cleaned up as well. The price was definitely worth it for the amount of hard-work John put in hauling everything away. I would absolutely recommend John's services again, and I am certain I will use him again the next time I have debris that needs hauled away. A+!

It was great. The owner, John Schott, did all the work himself. He has all the equipment necessary, showed up as scheduled and completed it all in one day. I was very impressed with his detail to the tasks at hand. The dirt around the new room in the back of the house had a severe grade to the existing lawn. John tilled the area, and left it even and smooth, with a gradual grade. He repaired all of the yard needing grass. Some areas had gravel, left by the new room construction. My wife said it looks great. All that is left is daily watering, and I can see new grass coming up already. John did a great job. He did all that I asked, and it looks even better than I imagined.

I called John at last minute to see if he could haul some junk away. He happened to be in my part of town that day so was able to pick junk up that very evening. Super pleased with quick response!

The man was very nice and came sooner than I thought he would. He worked quickly and I thought the price was very reasonable. He was very willing to help and do whatever he could to give great customer service.

John, the owner, immediately contacted me to set up a time. I had to change the date and time more than once, but John called to remind me about the deal I had purchased. I really appreciated this as I am pretty busy and the getting the stumps grinded were not an a priority at the time. On the day John was supposed to come by, he again called to let me know he was on the way. I promised to meet him there at the appointed time, but I got held up and ended up leaving working late. By the time I arrived (late), John had already grinder all the visible stumps in my back yard! I was so happy as the only direction I had provided him was that I wanted all the stump taken care of. John's customer service was beyond what I expected for a $99.00 job. He treated me like I was a customer spending thousands. I have cut down about three more trees since then and when I need them taken care of I will not think of calling anyone else.

I have used John several time in the past and will continue, he always gives very prompt professional services.

He was wonderful. I called him on a Friday and told him that it was about to expire and he worked me in on a Sunday. He got right in there and helped us out. He was in and out and gone. He was very efficient. I would use him again.

Was able to contact John on first attempt. At first, his schedule suggested it would be 2 weeks before he could arrive. I was okay with this as the pile had been there a while already. John called less than a week from the initial phone call and said he was in the neighborhood. He and his team removed the debris and was gone inside of 40 minutes. Did a great job. Would definitely use again.
