I called this morning and he was able to come out today! He let me know when he would arrive, and then he worked around the vehicles of another service provider that was in my driveway. He was able to take the couch and load it by himself. He was polite and friendly, and very responsive. I really appreciate him fitting me into his busy schedule.

He is great. I would recommend his services to everyone. He was willing to make the trip 45-50 minutes east. Very punctual and called ahead to let me know he was on his way.

John Schott was absolutely wonderful to work with. After purchasing a Big Deal for hauling services, I promptly received a message providing accurate contact information to schedule an appointment. I called a few weeks later, when I was ready for items to be picked up. John returned my initial voicemail within one business day. He was able to accommodate my request on short notice and was very courteous about it. On the day of the appointment, he confirmed the time and location with me. He arrived on time and after receiving instructions from me on what needed to be removed, he quickly got to work. John removed branches and other debris created from cutting down two 15' junipers. In under one hour, he removed ALL debris and even raked the empty beds. John was a pleasure to work with; he even sent a fun follow-up note in the mail! That's great customer service. If I have hauling or yard/landscaping needs, I will definitely use Schott Services again.

I had a huge pile of tree branches etc. that had accumulated for years. Mr. Schott was on time and did the job at a fair price. The area was raked clean (spotless) and he even removed some other waste that was not part of the estimate. I would recommend that anyone who is thinking about DIY'ing this kind of job give Schott Services a call first. For the time I would have spent working and the cost of renting a truck and paying the landfill fees I saved money. Highly recommended!!

I had many items in my garage that needed to be removed quickly. He was originally going to arrive at 5:00 pm, but he called asking if he could wait until 6:00, which was not a problem. He then called me almost as soon as he arrived. He was very courteous and, considering the type of work he does, he and his helper and his truck were clean. He made sure to check with me to be sure they were only taking items out that I wanted to get rid of. He then had his own trash cans and brooms and he made sure that things were cleaned up (as much as possible considering I have a dirt garage floor!). It only took about 1 hour to complete this. If needed in the future, I would call him again.

John did all of the work himself. He was there most of the day. The finished product looks much better than I ever expected. He was polite, efficient, and friendly. His price was also cheaper than the two other estimates I received.

It went super well. Mr. Schott and his assistant arrived at the house before I did and within 10 minutes had everything piled into the truck and ready to go. I would totally recommend them to others (and already have) and will use them again in the future!

I purchased a "Deal" from Angie's list for a truckload of hauling for $79. After purchasing I read on Schott's dite on Angie's list that Schott's Service also removes decks and fences. We needed the old benches built all around our deck removed and taken away. John said that he does do this kind of work and could come out the next day to look at the job and most likely complete it that day . I knew that the labor to dismantle the benches would be extra. John quoted us a price of $125 plus the $79 deal coupon. That was a good price and I asked him to do the work He dismantled the benchers and had them in the truck in a little over an hour. John totally cleaned up the deck after the work. He did excellent work and quickly. My husband and I are very happy with the work John performed. He is very professional and capable. What a hard working, very pleasant, and helpful man John Schott is!! He was particularly kind to me, as I had recently had a death in the family and was having some trouble trying to get things arranged before the big deal expired. We had set up a time, and then I had to cancel. He was very agreeable to working with me, and said to call him back when it was a better time for me. We finally set another time, but then he had a blow out on his trailer on his way over to my house. What I liked the most about him is, he kept in contact with me and told me what happened. I was half expecting him to tell me we'd have to reschedule.... After what I am sure was a particularly long day for him, and for his helper, he still came by after he fixed his trailer's problem and hauled away the things I asked him to take.... I would not hesitate to call him again, and have given his name to others already. Thanks so much, John, for working with me!!

John Schott responded the same day I called and took away the agreed items for the agreed price. There is not a lot of artistry to junk hauling but every aspect of the response of Schott Services was exemplary.

He and his helper were friendly, prompt and efficient. I felt very comfortable with their work. I am planning to have them come again and do some additional work at a later time. They provided clear answers to all of my questions regarding further work and the estimated cost. I appreciated their candor. Great Job!

The owner John contacted me immediately after I purchased the Big Deal for $79.00. He accommodated my work schedule for the work that needed to be done. He is professional, courteous, efficient and punctual. He does a wonderful job, and does excellent work. I recommend him highly, and will definitely use him again should the need arise.

John has to be the most patient man I know! We had some drainage issues in our backyard and bought the "big deal" so we could have John trench and connect a drain to our neighbor's drain. John came out a few times to look at the backyard but when he came back to start the project with his machine, my neighbor came out to the backyard to tell us that their drain had just collapsed so we couldn't connect to it. It was very frustrating, but John remained optimistic. We went to plan B, where we made a raised bed and will dig and install a sump pump. He arranged the delivery of the dirt, brought out his other machine and hauled all the dirt into the backyard. He was able to go through our small gate opening and there was even very minimal damage to our grass. After months of planning and phone conversations, he remained very professional and pleasant. He did an outstanding job, and I will be recommending him to friends and family!

It went great. I purchased the service as part of an advertised Big Deal. John contacted me right away and arrived as scheduled. He and his partner did a great job.

I asked him about trimming my mature shrubs to as short as possible without causing them damage. He was professional and honest in his reply that he wouldn't feel comfortable taking that on with the types of shrubs that I have. He suggested that I try to find someone experienced with that kind of extreme trimming in order to get the results I was looking for. I appreciate his sincerity and will definitely check with him about other tasks I may have in the future.

We've used John Schott's services before, mostly for mulching and some minor landscaping. This year we did a major landscaping upgrade. John removed the majority of the old plants. He was able to save some of the boxwoods, relocating them to a better area of our yard. He relocated the pampas grasses to an area needing more privacy. His original landscaping design was great but we made a few changes. He always leaves the yard and driveway clean and free of debris, dirt, etc. He kept us informed of when he would come, how long he would stay and when he would be finished. He returned a couple of months later to move two rose bushes that were not doing well - not enough sun.

John Schott of Schott Services is a fantastic service provider. His motto is "you get me from start to finish" and you do. Simply put he is one of the most prepared, punctual and professional service providers I have met. He removed a Green House that had gas, electrical and tons of junk inside of it. However he did not stop there he cleaned the area and filled in and leveled the ground after he was done. He totally went past my expectations and left the area in perfect condition, basically ready for me to just put sod over the area. That saved me time and money and was simply going above and beyond. He also removed an old six person jacuzzi without disturbing my new grass or patio. He did all this in the middle of the summer without using any subcontractors in the course of one working day. He did not stop for lunch, he did not stop when it started raining he just kept working. This is a PERSON YOU NEED TO USE, especially if you have a difficult removal project where you don't know who to turn to. As far as price it was reasonable for me, but there were lower quotes on this, but I felt more comfortable with him getting the job done without messing up my yard or the outside structure of my house. He was was booked out about one month at the time I called him and he told me this up front when he quoted me. There were others who could have done it the next day but I decided to wait. I AM SO THANKFUL I DID!!!!!!!!!!!! He actually followed up weekly to let me know we were still on for our scheduled time and then he got to me a week early. Simply put he is the best and I would use him again, Thank You John, your the best at what you do!

It worked out just fine. They showed up when they were supposed to, took away what they were supposed to, and waited around for me to get it all together.
