I called after reading the large amount of really impressive reviews about Schott Services on several different sites (Angie's list and Google). I messaged John first. He was very professional, responsive and his pricing was very reasonable. We wished we contacted John years ago. He and his helper did an excellent job clearing out all of the contents of our basement. They had one large truck and got the job done in 1.5 hours max. Incredible!! Now we can sell our home. We will be using Schott services for several other projects prior to selling. Thanks again John!

I contacted John to see about getting an old basketball pole cut down. It was cemented in, but after reading through his website I felt confident that I didn't need the entire area dug up, that cutting the pole to the ground would suffice. John wasn't sure exactly when he would be able to get by because his wife was expecting any moment. However, a day to two later I missed a call from him that said he could do it that day if that was ok with me. Again, I missed that call - and the voicemail. I didn't even know that he had called until I saw him pull up ready to work. He was so professional and obviously cares about his customers and doing a great job. I was totally impressed and that was before he even started. Cutting down the pole took him barely any time because he has obviously done it repeatedly and has great skill and all the right tools. The pole was cut right to the ground. No dangerous or sharp edges. I was able to fill it with pea gravel and cover with soil and seed and now I have a nice grassy spot. You don't always find service people that are this attentive and thorough. We are so pleased we found him.

John came out in a very timely manner for an estimate, which involved power raking and laying additional gravel. As it turned out, power raking was all that was needed to fix the potholes, no need to invest in additional stone. His advice saved us a good bit of money as our driveway is about 800 feet long. Very pleased with his work, an excellent job!

The company did an amazing job! He cleared everything out in just 2 days and exceeded my expectations on the clean up. I was very happy with the results and will definitely keep in mind in the future. Pics of before and after.

My wife and I recently moved into a new house and had a variety of work we needed done. We had two piles of junk from the previous owners, a run down storage shed to remove, dead bushes all around the yard, landscaping mounds that we wanted leveled, and remnants of a playground full of pea gravel that we wanted removed. John did it all! He arrived on schedule, kept us up to date throughout the process, completed the work quickly, and made sure we were satisfied with all his work before he would accept payment. He did an outstanding job and we highly recommend him.

John did a fantastic job for an extremely fair price! I was moving and needed to remove a TV, desk, 2 chairs, a queen size mattress and box spring, a bunch of contractor size trash tags & some other junk from the empty house. John was quick to answer my text for an estimate on Friday and came out the next day (Saturday). He arrived on time and was very quick to load up and haul away! It went well. He responded quickly (next day after initial contact) and took a gas grill with a concrete collar which I had removed from the ground and an exercise bike. These items were too heavy for me to handle, but he handled them with seemingly relative ease.
