John came to give us an estimate in a timely manner. He was friendly, courteous and professional. When he returned to perform the work he worked quickly and efficiently and completely cleaned up afterwards. We had a "jungle" of overgrown shrubs tangled with weeds, including poison ivy along a fence row. After removing all he ground out the stumps and leveled and seeded the area. The grass came in quickly and evenly and looks 100 percent better than what was there before. We enjoyed meeting John and will definitely use his services again.

It was a great experience. John arrived as scheduled and completed the job in the estimated amount of time. He cut up a hot tub in our sun room and loaded the pieces in his truck. The best part was he ask to use our shop vac and cleaned up all the little pieces of insulation from the hot tub. I thought he would clean up the mess to a certain extent, but not to the point of sweeping up all of the little pieces. Since the estimate was given to me on the phone, without seeing the job, he actually charged less than the estimate. I would not hesitate to use John again, and I would certainly recommend him to others.

John was polite and friendly. Made an effort to come on a Saturday morning. He arrived on time and was finished in a little over an hour. He was quick and he was by himself. Will hire him again.

Mr. Schott and his helper were very friendly and efficient. They made sure I had every opportunity to add everything I wanted to the things I was having hauled away. Mr. Schott even swept the garage out in the process. I was very happy with everything they did.

We recently had a new blacktop driveway installed. There was need to have topsoil brought in to grade a berm alongside the blacktop to protect it and restore the landscape. John Schott was very responsive when called, provided a detailed estimate. Communication was very good while waiting on the service. The day of the service John called and showed up on time. John installed topsoil, graded the sight, seeded and applied straw. Tht work sight was cleaned up after the work was done. The work was very professional and complete to my satisfaction. I would use John again. would highly recommend John Schott to others.

He is very personable and punctual and will always call in advance before he comes to your home. He has an overall kindness about him. It is always a pleasure to work with him and to have him around.

John did an outstanding job. He came by a week before the work was performed to spray the weeds in the flower beds (and there were LOTS). He prepared the beds and then rearranged existing plants to make room for the new bushes and moved around some large rocks that I had. He cut back the hostas and day lillys to prepare them for winter. To complete the new look he put down river rock. Once everything was finished he had me come out and take a look to make sure I liked everything. He also spent some time explaining the care of the new plantings. I wanted something low maintenance and the work he did fills the bill. The front of the house now looks fantastic. I'm looking forward to spring when everything pops out with new growth and blooms. He also hauled away a dead tree I had in the back yard and a yard light that was poorly installed by the builder and was just barely standing up. These were things we had not originally discussed in the scope of work, but he willingly took care of them for me. I recommend John very highly. He worked hard to make my flower beds look great. I will certainly use him again when I'm ready for additional landscaping.

John was able to perform the work the same day he came to give me the quote. It was pouring rain and cold but he did the work anyway. I was very pleased with the service.

He was a very nice guy and I would call him back. He was very pleasant to deal with. They got everything hauled away quickly in a bout 30 minutes. Each TV was an extra $10 to haul away because it was an electronic.

We set a time and I gave him instructions on what was to go. When I got home everything was gone and the driveway appeared to have been swept. The garden cart was empty and was placed behind a shrub, out of sight, so that it wasn't stolen.

It worked out quite well. They were timely and they came when they said they would, and it worked out very well. They swept up part of the driveway that stuff was sitting on and they cleaned up well.

The men were friendly, hard working, eager to please. They did a great job.

We have used John before. In fact, this review was not necessary because he was here earlier this summer. However, we wanted to make sure Angie's List members know what a great service provider he is. We feel fortunate to have met him through the Big Deal.

I tore out about 90% of my landscaping at one time. I needed to find someone to remove the waste as soon as possible to avoid angry letters from my HOA. John had the quickest turn around time. He came by when expected and made sure that I was aware of any possible changes as soon as possible. We discussed price and details of the job before he started. I received a lower price than a comparable competitor because of finding him from Angie's List. He removed all waste and did an excellent job cleaning the area where the waste was piled. I did not have to go outside and pickup any small pieces laying around.

John was great! He set up communication right after we purchased our deal. He continued to keep in contact with us throughout the process. He arrived right when he said he would and did a superb job once he got here. He was honest, friendly, efficient, and conscientious. I would highly recommend John to anyone! When and if the need arises to haul again, we will be calling him.

Went very well. Price was reasonable. The provider had on his Big Deal, the volume of haul-off for which a $79.00 charge would be expected. No surprises when they arrived to pick up the stuff.

Even though there truck was filled to the top, they were able to get all of my stuff on top!
