This is at least the second review I have written about John. John has performed various services for us for several years. We have had trees removed, garden beds edged and ornamental gasses cut back. Recently, he removed a wood deck that we were having replaced. He is always the first person I contact when I have a need. John is a hard worker who always does a great job and cleans up the area. We feel that John is honest and charges a fair price. He is also very professional while being personable and friendly.

It worked out nicely. I thought it was worth it at the time. I have the man's card in my hands. They showed up on time, they were friendly and they helped me load everything so I had no problem with them I would use them again.

John responded extremely quick to my email and was at my house within days to remove my old hot tub. He did a great job at a great price! Removed all materials and was very professional. Will use again in the future!

John Schott does an excellent job. He responds to phone calls quickly, provides estimates in a timely manner, and completes the service when he says he will. He mowed and trimmed my lawn in my newly purchased home as I was moving to Indianapolis. I never had to worry if the job was done or the quality of his work. The cost of services varies depending on size of job and cost of materials. Highly recommend.

Called John and he came out the same day. Professional, quick and did a great job. Exactly what we needed.

After using John earlier in the year to clear some storm debris, I knew exactly who to call to clear a large tree debris pile in my backyard that had been accumulating all summer. The pile was mostly branches, but also included some tree trunks that were dead and I had cut down. I emailed John for a quote and he got back with me promptly. He was able to work around my somewhat chaotic schedule, and came out early this morning. He and his worker got right to work, and had the pile removed in no time. They cleaned up after themselves quite well, and didn't leave a single twig along the path where they carried away the debris to their truck. John is great to work with, and given how many trees we have along the rear of our property, I am certain I will be using his services again in the future.

Went very well. When I called Mr. Schott to schedule the pick-up he asked what type of articles I wanted hauled. I told him the items including a 36" TV and a couple kitchen appliances. He said, "no problem." There was an additional charge of $10.00 to dispose of the TV but that was expected considering TV's with picture tubes need to be disposed of properly. Once they arrived I pointed out the pieces and they did all the lifting and were very quick and efficient. They used shoe covers to prevent bringing in debris and soiling my carpet. Once he loaded all the articles we had discussed he told me there was a little more room and asked if I had anything else. I really appreciated that. Very nice gentleman and I would absolutely use them again.

It went great! I had taken my basement carpet up and had it in about 10-15 bundles plus 10-15 bags of the carpet pad. I called in the morning and he could was able to fit me in that evening. He called, came over, and was done in about 10 minutes. No complaints; everything went perfect!

John did an excellent job. He hand trenched near my foundation and through some existing landscaping being careful to move plants. John obtained all the necessary materials and laid out piping with a positive grade to ensure water would drain away from the foundation. He also adjusted the downspouts accordingly so they would drain into the catch basins. After back filling, he leveled out the surfaces and redistributed the river rock so that you could never tell it was disturbed. The great benefit are the gutter downspouts no longer extend to the edge of my sidewalk where water freezes. Plus I've always worried about them being a trip hazard.

John was on-time, great with communicating his schedule. Went the extra mile to clean out the freezer (which was pretty gross) before hauling it away.

Hauled away old TV's, large and small household items, desk, chairs, etc. I have used Schott Services on several occasions and have always been please with their services. You will find John, very customer oriented, prompt, profession and a willingness to please the customer.

The guy that came out did a very nice job. He took everything that we had wanted to get rid off. He's very prompt. He came on the day that they scheduled and took all the stuff away. I needed him to come back again. I had no problems dealing with him.

Jon was awesome. Made arrangements on short notice, came by after normal business hours, and was as friendly as could be. I wouldn't hesitate to do business with him again.

We we very pleased with Schott Services. Good communication from our first contact with Mr Schott to the point when the old tree was removed and the new tree was planted in its place. We picked out a tree and paid for it at a nursery. Mr Schott picked up the tree at the nursery and planted it at our home for us and hauled away the old tree. He could have ordered the tree for us but we wanted to pick it out. Very pleased with his services.

John was a true professional. Called back within an hour of leaving him voicemail message. Agreed to come as quickly as possible. Called following day to set a time. When knew he was running late, he phoned to let us know about his change in plans. Upon arrival, he was polite and friendly. Examined situation and offered fair estimate quickly. Allowed us to discuss if wanted. Upon approval, moved forward with project. When we returned three hours later, all debris had been hauled away and driveway had been swept; no indication anything had been there. Highly suggest. True professional.

We contacted Schott Services, Inc. because of his excellent reputation. During the week of October 6th, Mr. Schott removed our landscaping which had seen better days. The work consisted or removing a large ornamental tree, several hedges, ground cover and ornamental stone. It was obvious that he took care to avoid disturbing areas outside the landscaping areas. We were looking for landscaping that would require minimal maintenance and we relied our Mr. Schott's expertise. On October 14th, he provided a Japanese Maple, 10 Boxwoods, 3 King's Gold, 3 Oak Leaf Hydrangeas, 6 Knockout Roses, filter cloth, edging and ornamental stone over the landscaping areas. He trenched and buried 3 downspouts which would have, otherwise, soiled the ornamental stone. I believe Mr. Schott could make a dump look good. Mr. Scott also provided top soil for filling a flower bed which had some erosion and backfilling along our new driveway, sidewalk, patio and back step. The areas were reseeded and covered with straw. The work was completed in 2 days. We had 3 additional downspouts and he returned on Oct 22nd with his trencher. Mr. Schott has the necessary equipment to complete the work efficiently with care.

I looked for someone on Angie's List knowing they would be dependable and fair and found John. I called, we made an appointment, he reconfirmed the night before and he was there when he said he would be. He also brought a young man with him to help with the heavy lifting.
