Schott Services, LLC

My husband telephoned Mr. Schott earlier this week because he had noticed the high ratings earned by Schott Services, LLC (www.schottservices.com) on Angie's List. We needed quite a lot of rubbish removed from our home, including several long strips of metal garden edging we recently discovered buried in the backyard, a few long branches that had fallen due to the severe storms of last winter, old degraded rubber hoses, and a plethora of obscure and discarded items too numerous to list which had been idly discarded by previous occupants since the house had first been built in 1952. Even with the severe lightning storm and excess rainfall of yesterday afternoon (Wednesday, May 21, 2014), and the detrimental effect it must have had on organizations that conduct their business primarily out of doors, Mr. Schott still arrived early this morning with an employee to clear the debris from our garage. Both Mr. Schott and the gentleman who accompanied him (I did not get his name) were courteous, efficient, prompt, and they left the area much tidier than it had been in a long while, with the entire job completed to my husband's great satisfaction not more than ten minutes after their initial arrival!

It was wonderful. Everything looks beautiful.

He came on time, was very polite and took away the items we asked him to take. He was very clean and tidy. We will use Schott Services again for sure!

John was prompt, coming to give an estimate shortly after I called and returning to haul everything the beginning of the week. He was very professional and cleaned up the entire area. I would definitely use him again.

He quickly responded to arrange the pickup, and removed the items to be hauled away on the agreed date. Offered to help move the items if I was not able to myself.

Weather delayed desired installation. Mr. Schott stayed in regular contact so that we could identify a good day for installation. When a break came Mr. Schott immediately scheduled work. He and his crew arrived on time and completed work quickly and efficiently. I had to leave and when I returned work was complete. Except for my beautiful new rock garden, there was no evidence he was even there. He left the area clean and undamaged.

We called a few different services through Angie's List and received different quotes and times for pickup. John was available to come that same day and offered the best price. He arrived when he said he would and loaded up the truck on his own. He was courteous, friendly, and fast. He was fantastic and we will absolutely use him again. If you need junk hauled, Schott Services is the place to start and end.

He is always ready to come today. I liked his estimate better. He gave me a design which he doesn’t usually do. He did it quickly. He cleaned up after he was finished. It's absolutely beautiful. He arrives on time. He has also done hauling for me. I feel comfortable with him to rely on.

It went great. I was contacted immediately by owner John and he quoted me a price over the phone after providing him with a couple of phots. Days later he came to the house and completed the job. From start to finish, this was a great experience. I will definitely call Schott Services again and would recommend them to friends and neighbors.

He called me right back and came out to give me a quote within a couple days. He did the job when he said he would. He did all the work himself and was very particular about making sure it was done right. He cleaned everything up when he was done. I would recommend him for those looking for landscape work.

John did a great job. It is clear that he takes pride in his work and made sure that all of the connections that he made to our downspouts were screwed into place so that they would not come loose in a heavy storm. He was pleasant to work with and was thorough in his assessment of what needed to be done to solve our drainage problem. He was flexible about working out a date to complete our job.

Very courteous and did not damage any wall or flooring when moving them up a large staircase. Would definitely hire them again for other projects.

It took several weeks for John to get to us but it was well worth it. He brought his truck and some sort of equipment that broke up the concrete. He loaded the concrete on his truck and hauled it away. We were discussing how we were going to fix the yard after the concrete was hauled away, and John said he could get topsoil and plant grass in the space for us. So we had him do the job. The finished product was great.

Arrived as scheduled. Completed all work and carefully cleaned up site promptly and efficiently. Exceeded all of our expectations.

He came out the afternoon of the morning I called him with a pickup truck. He loaded a big pile of brush and hauled it away, and also left the area very clean and neat. He was very courteous, professional, friendly and polite. I thought it was a very reasonable amount of money. He also gave me a 10% off coupon for the next job. I plan on using him in the future.

John Schott came within 24 hours to give me a quote. The next business day he returned to begin work. He cleared up all the leaves and winter debris, as well as some trash leftover from our remodeling projects. He trimmed the weeds, cleaned the gutters, and mulched all the garden beds. The next day he was back to regravel the driveway. Most Angie's List hires are really great...except for the last 5% of the job that is close but not perfect; John Schott wouldn't leave until I was 100% thrilled with the work he had done. We put the house on the market a few days later and almost all of the potential buyers have mentioned the curb appeal to the Realtor--hiring John Schott was the best choice we could have made in preparing our home to be sold.

John was on time and promptly loaded all the items even moved a standing shelf from the garage to his truck. He and his assistant were polite and professional. The deal was good, but I should have had more items. I would call John again.

We planned in December to do this project after mid March. John called and came by two times before the project to make sure our plans or budget had not changed. The weather held the project up a bit although John had targeted the week of April 20th, he was able to complete the entire project in one day on Tuesday April 29th. We had replaced two shrubs and a tree a week before he and his assistant arrived. They removed all weeds and stones before laying a thick weed barrier. He did a nice job of making the placement of the river rock in the bed by the house very appealing. It wrapped around the west side of the house and tapered into a clean end in an area that we'd never had any landscaping, the colors of the river rock really made the brick on our home stand out. They also put a thick layer of mulch around two trees in the front yard and completed the whole plan just before the rain started. They cleaned up all messes before they left for the day. John always does a thorough and reliable work for us.

I called John Schott to help me with a water problem I was having in my crawl space. He was very quick to find a convenient time for getting together and taking a look at the situation. We discussed several ways it could be done and he suggested starting out with the most economical. John trenched and buried seven downspouts at my house and also installed bubblers on the ends. John is a very impressive businessman who knows a great deal about many areas of landscaping and home care. We scheduled a day to get it all done. He explained exactly what I needed to do to get all the utilities marked. He came early in the day and by 3 or 4 he was completely done. I feel he did an exceptional job and the rate he charged was extremely reasonable $1,100. When he was done everything was cleaned up and looked great. One of the best contractors, if not the best that I have worked with!!
