It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. He got the stump out and it was not bad at all. There were no additional charges. They came out within a week. They were very fair and professional. There were no problems.

Came out promptly. Gave an estimate over the phone based on picture taken. Did a nice job!

They were excellent. I used them for a couple of different gigs. He did show up. He was actually 10 or 15 minutes early. He owns it and he is there at every job. He said what he said he was going to do and he executed perfectly. I would definitely highly recommend him and I will use him again. I started using him with a brush pile that he came and knocked out. He went over and above. He cleaned the thing down to the dirt which I figured I would have to do more cleanup but no. While he was there I asked him about the perimeter of my house because it needed mulch redone and replaced. He gave me a bid and I thought it was a great bid so I did it. The first time I called, he happened to be in the area so he was over within half an hour. I wasn't even there for the mulch. I left in the morning and it looked like crap and I came home at night and it looked fantastic. I didn't compare his prices but I thought it was fair. He was great with every interaction I had with him.

The experience was pretty good. He is like lawn service, or whatever, so we had him come out and tear out a bunch of shrubbery and dead bushes and a tree. The service went very well. We have used him before and he is pretty good.

Due to a new well installation, a lost contractor who backed a large truck into my muddy yard and lack care by previous owners, my front yard had sink holes, ruts and low areas that retained water for too long. In May, I called John Schott to give me an estimate. He listened carefully to my description of what I wanted and provided an estimate. I liked him right away. He told me that he was booked with other jobs until about the end of July. I decided I could wait for him to do the work. True to his time estimate, he started the job on July 28. He finished it the next day... a lot of work in two days. John is one of the hardest, most diligent workers I have ever met. Once he started the work he just didn't stop until the job was completed. He consulted with me during the job to make sure he was doing what I wanted. He had good ideas and knew what he was doing. His final invoice was actually less that the estimate that he gave me. Everything looks great. It rained last night and this morning there are no lakes of standing water. Hurray! I recommend with out reservation that you hire John Schott.

I chose them because they called me back right away. They showed up on time, and they were punctual. I was very happy.

Outstanding! We just moved into this home a few months ago, and there was a large patch of ivy that was starting to creep up the house. John ripped out the ivy by hand and left the entire area completely neat and tidy. The quality of work was excellent, and he was polite and professional in all our communication. We will likely contact him for future landscaping work. Very happy customer!

They were great. He was able to fit me in on short notice and called several times to let me know that they were still on track. Pricing was very reasonable and when I move later this year I will definitely use them again!

He was terrific - came when he said he would, finished the job in a couple of days, and the price was reasonable.

The owner was awesome, he had our yard graded and leveled and ready for seed within an hour. So then we had him remove two stumps out of the yard also. He is a very pleasant, hard working guy. We will definitely hire him again to do the hard yard work for us.

He was able to do all the work quickly and efficiently, after we discussed a price.

They were great. Worked with me on the days/times I could meet them, etc. Carried 25+ boxes up from a basement and didn't complain once. Great guys.

John did it again! This is the second time I've used John's services and I was as impressed this time as the first. John returned my call for "help" promptly and set up a time two days later to do the work. As promised, he called me the day of services as he headed my way. Upon arriving he impressed me with his job of backing his extra long trailer attached to his long truck into my narrow, long driveway without knocking a single leaf from the plantings at my mailbox. He and his helper made quick work of clearing the three piles of tree debris I needed removed. He consulted with me on another project I am thinking of doing and then headed out to his next job. John is knowledgeable, proficient and amicable. I will make use of his fine services in future. Anyone looking for the types of service John provides can stop looking and call John today!

John and his wife are awesome; she built a wonderful and most helpful website. John fixed my old and broken down drainage ditch! He is friendly, honest and takes pride in his work! I will recommend him to all my friends and I will most certainly call on his services again for tree stump grinding and some landscape work.

One word describes John's performance: STELLAR! John responded to my inquiry within 2 hours, arrived at my home the next day on schedule and completed the difficult tasks within a half hour. John and his assistant were fastidious is assuring no damage to our home, even while navigating some fairly narrow and winding staircases with bulky items. Very conscientious in clean up. Don't bother looking for ANY one else for hauling or removal services. Schott Services is the ONLY choice!
