It went perfectly! I purchased the $89 deal and emailed John that evening (Monday). John responded bright and early on Tuesday morning. We discussed him coming on Friday. Later that day he called to say he could come that evening (Tuesday) if it was convenient for me. I said yes and he came at 6:30pm right on time. He and his helper took the doors off my basement and got the very heavy sofa up the small stairway without incident. John was very professional and personable. I would definitely hire him again.

My son bought this "big deal" for me, as a gentle reminder that one of my goals this summer was to get rid of things that had accumulated that we didn't need or use anymore. He knew I would be happy when it was gone. John was great! He was punctual, professional and courteous. He quickly picked up and loaded everything I asked him to. He used his saw to cut the legs off of an 8 foot cage in no time. When he pulled off, smiled and waved goodbye, he had a large truckload and I had my garage and shed back.

John was very up to date with everything. He was sure to stay in contact with me as to when he would arrive. He was very attentive and had a great attitude when he showed up. The day of the service we could not confirm a time so he gave me an estimate and called when he was on his way, which worked perfect. The first time I called to discuss services I left a message and he called me back within 24 hours. If I ever called and could not reach him he always called me back the same day. His sister came with him to help and she was nice. They cleared a 1/2 full, 2-car garage that was filled with old TVs, a washer and dryer and misc. items and id it in less than 2 hours. I think John charged a fair price for what I thought could easily have cost me $500. This was the first tiem I used Schott Services and I would defintely use them again.

John did a great job and communicated very well for such a small job. I greatly appreciated his phone calls and follow-up. I will use Schott Services again.

I hired Schott's Services through an Angie's Big Deal in order to have some fencing hauled away. I left a message for Mr. Schott and he contacted me the same day to make arrangements to haul away the fencing several days later. Mr. Schott arrived with a co-worker on time, and hauled away not only the fencing but some boxes on our porch and in our basement. He also sent a thank you note for our business. He was friendly, professional, and I would definitely hire his company again!

I can't say enough great things about John. I purchased the deal to get the above items removed. I followed up that evening via email and expected there would be some delay just by the nature of the deal. However he responded almost immediately. He was very accommodating and could have done the work much sooner but I was unavailable. Many small business owners could learn from his exceptional customer service skills. What was most impressive was that I received a hand written thank you letter along with a discount off future work. I've spent thousands of dollars on different services over the years and can count on one hand the times I've received a thank you let alone a hand written one. Keep up the great work John!

Schott Services was terrific. My call was returned quickly and the work was scheduled within days. John was friendly, pleasant, prompt and professional. He called ahead to confirm the time and arrived on time. He and a helper made quick work of removing a couch, a very heavy television and a few random pieces of wood. From the research I had done, a small hauling job such as ours would have cost much more with national chains. I highly recommend this company and would consider using them for other jobs and services as well.

Called in response to a "Big Deal" offer, talked to them on a Thursday and they hauled everything away by Saturday, sooner than anticipated. Did great work, cleaned up nicely. Fairly priced service, very responsive.

John and his helper arrived earlier than I expected (which was great). He looked at what I needed to have hauled out to his truck and started to work. They were done in about 20 minutes and I now have room in my basement. It was hot outside and they were both sweaty but very gracious. I would use them again in an instant and did show them what they may expect next time!!

Had a large annual brush pile from a large wooded lot and 20 years worth of "stored" house accessories behind a shed in the back of the yard that included fencing; grills; and large amounts of lumber including an ancient wood trailer falling apart. John Schott was nice, friendly, hard working, and priced very fair. I would definitely use his services again

We did an "Angie's List Coupon" to have brush hauled away. I purchased the coupon and contacted John that day. He responded right away! Within a few days, he called like he said he would, picked up the stuff and hauled it away. He was prompt, professional and followed direction since we were not home at the time of pick up. John is very professional and courteous - when I called to set up the appt., he was very friendly and accommodating. He even called the night before he was scheduled to come out to make sure we were still set and then called on his way the next day. John does such a great job on our lawn! Not only does he do a great job, but he is reliable and very professional. John is also very detail oriented and doesn't just mow our lawn and leave - he takes the time to weed-eat and clean up all the clippings. We will definitely be using John for all of our lawn care needs!

I had an old, rotting, wood play set in the backyard that I wanted to get rid of. I emailed John and he came out the very next day and took care of it. I had purchased a Big Deal from Angie's List for 3 cu. yards of debris to be hauled away. I knew the play set exceeded the amount and was prepared to pay the difference. But John didn't charge me any more for the additional debris. He did the work in less than 2 hours and cleaned up very well. You wouldn't know by looking at it that there had been anything in its place. It was a very pleasant experience and I would definitely use Schott Services again.

We asked for a lot from a lawn guy! We had a laundry list of things that we needed done in the lawn and we were looking for someone here on the south side who would be able to do the bigger things that needed finished along with coming weekly to cut and trim the grass. John gave us an estimate for all we wanted done. He broke the jobs up into several days over 2 or 3 weeks (and avoiding and catching up while it rained most of early May). Our bushes are all neatly trimmed, the mulch has made a huge difference and from the overseeding we are starting to see some grass filling in the blank spots in the yard. We are very satisfied with the work done. Weekly lawn trims are also neat and tidy. John cuts the lawn, trims and then blows all the grass debris off the sidewalks and lawn. I just love it when I see the freshly cut lawn!

Every step of the process was smooth. John is professional, personable, reliable, and provides good service for a reasonable price. He returned calls promptly, came when he said he would, quoted me a very reasonable price and did a little extra work for no extra charge. He was easy to talk with about what needed to be done, had good ideas, and stayed within my budget. I have used Schott Services for several years for mowing, trimming, leaf mulching and cleaning off sidewalks and patio. The job is always fabulous. This year Schott Services removed a long stone planter box from the front of the porch, stacked stones on the side of the house, removed mortor from stones and hauled away the dirt and debris. The cost was reasonable and the work was meticulous, timely, thorough and to my specifications. I would recommend Schott Services to anyone who is looking for a company that is honest, dependable and does a fabulous job.
