 + -1 moreWe remodeled a bathroom with a huge pile of contruction debris. We freecycled what we could but still had a full pick up truck worth for the trash. Since our town's trash service doesn't allow for construction debris, we purchased a Big Deam and called John, he promptly called and scheduled a time to pickup, John was on time for the appointment day as promised. Took all our trash and didn't leave any debris at all for us to even sweep up.
Description of Work: Took advantage of a Big Deal for hauling trash, nothing better than finding a reliable and friendly company to call on for excellent service. Would recommend for any of the services John offers just based on his prompt and professional service.

Services were performed same day as when he called to provide an estimate, which was fantastic. I came home to a mowed lawn and well cleaned landscape beds. I have signed up for weekly mowing with Schott Services and I am now considering using his other services for landscape and hauling.
Description of Work: Lawn Mowing and Leaf Mulch - I have quite a few trees and needed leaves removed from landscape beds. Schott Services removed the leaves from the beds as asked and mowed the lawn and mulched up the leaves that remained from the fall.

Within a few days, John scheduled a visit to provide the estimate, and, because he was the first mowing contractor to reply to my estimate requests, he also mowed the lawn immediately after providing the estimate. John was very professional and actually did the mowing for less money than he estimated (it was easier than expected). Lawn looked great. Only downside was that John's landscaping estimate was a little higher than other contractors.

He probably could have charged me more than the coupon as the size of the trash was a bit more than covered by the Big Deal but he did not. He called at the site to confirm the location and the best place to park. Finally, he mailed a thank you note after the project was completed. I would rate his service a 10 out of 10.

 + -1 moreI bought a deal for 9 cubic feet of hauling, but I knew that I had more "stuff" to be hauled than the 9 cubic feet. John was excellent. He was responsive, able to get to my home quickly, and very nice. He was also willing to haul more than the amount covered by Angie's List Deal for a very reasonable additional fee. If I have more hauling in the future, I will certainly contact John.
Description of Work: I had boxes and other materials hauled from my garage and basement.

 + 1 moreEverything turned out beautiful! Exactly like we discussed! When I pulled into my driveway after a day of work, I barely recognized my own house! He did such a fantastic job picking all the plants for us and the placement of all the plants is great! The front yard and driveway was completely cleaned up and it didn't even look like someone was there working on our yard. When I walked in the back yard my husband and I were blown away - all the landscaping John did in the back yard makes a huge difference! We can't wait to entertain this summer! Thanks John!!
Description of Work: John did a complete over-haul of our landscaping - in the front yard and the back yard. He laid new mulch, created larger beds for mulch and plants, and planted new shrubs and perennials for us. He also pulled up old plants and old mulch.

John hauled various debris from a small bath remodel, including drywall, cement board, sub-floor, broken fixtures, toilet, etc. He was very responsive - returned my call within a couple of hours. Answered questions about how to prepare debris for pick up, gave rough cost estimate, which was right on. Called before he came on date we arranged, was prompt, and left the area where the debris had been very clean and neat. He even took the time to fold the tarp we'd put all of the debris on. I definitely recommend.

He was quick and thorough in loading all of our materials and debris and hauled it away. What impressed me most was his professionalism and courtesy. We will definitely use him again.

Description of Work: I had taken advantage of one of Angie's List specials and signed up with Schott Services to have some items hauled away. There were small appliances and a large rug from the basement and debris in the yard, including some branches of overgrown schrubs that I had just trimmed back. John arrived early and set to work immediately. When he was finished I asked about having him return sometime to cut back completely those schrubs. He said he had time then. We agreed on a price. He not only cut them down but also took an axe and completely removed the deeply rooted stumps. He then filled up the holes and smoothed the dirt.
