Sanders and Sons

Tim Sanders came out and looked at our chimney and gave us an estimate on the spot for replacing the brick. The brick was spalling badly on the top six feet and random brick the rest of the way down. Tim went to all the brick yards to find a match to our existing brick. Our house is close to 35 years old so the brick was hard to match. Tim found a match and it was delivered within 2 weeks. The tear off of the old brick started within a couple of days and only took one day. The crew did a fantastic job cleaning up after. Within a week the new brick was up. A good match for the brick and mortar. They added a nice concrete top. Tim Sanders kept us up to date almost daily on the progress. We are very happy with the work from Sanders and Sons. I would recommend them to anyone that needs any kind of masonry work done.

I really was fortunate to find these guys! I had received various estimates from other companies, but no one seemed to have the expertise that I required for my challenging project. Tim knows masonry and was able to advise me well. I felt confident with his direction, and the completed project showed I was right. I was extremely pleased with the finished work. They even matched grout and brick colors expertly. All of his team is like family and worked together well, leaving everything clean and tidy, taking pride in a job well done. Plus, everyone was pleasant and easy to get along with. Tim communicated well and was always prompt and considerate to my schedule. I recommend this company without reservation.

The restoration of the wall and new chimney were absolutely perfect! These guys are true professionals and very good at what they do. They even matched the mortar to the house. They are punctual and neat!...And easy to get a long with.

The brick patio looks beautiful. I designed the pattern and Tim and his crew excuted it perfectly. A concrete foundation was poured and then the brick was placed on top. In addition, I had a retaining wall put in which matches the rest of the house, including the limestone on top. I've hired this company multiple times. They are hard workers and easy to deal with, especially Tim, the owner.

Work was copmleted quickly and looks good.

Tim and his son Chad were fabulous to work with. Tim was so good about Communicating with me. Issues always come up and Tim handled them beautifully. Chad did an amazing job building our steps. I would recommend them to anyone.

Tim Sanders and his sons are easy to work with and can adapt to the customers needs .Tim will do his best to work within the customers budget and schedule. They are really descent people.

What a great group of professional, competent, and friendly guys. I really liked that they were a family operation that has been in the masonry business for several generations. These guys have a great work ethic, do the job right the first time around, and take pride in their work. I am extremely pleased with the job they did. I will be hiring them again in the spring to do some additional work because I know they will do another great job.

Sanders and Sons never responded to my inquiry.

We live in a 50+ year old house that needed various masonry work as described above.This was due to settlement over the years. We happened to be on vacation when Sanders and Son performed the work. When we returned home we were extremely pleased with the results. Their work was beyond our expectations. Every aspect of every job they did to our home and retaining wall looked great. It looked like a new retaining wall. We didn't expect the brick to look as great as it now does. We wished we had heard about Sanders and Sons years ago. The price was also reasonable. I would highly recommend Sanders and Son for anyone needing masonry type work. Great job Tom.(Sanders)

Tim Sanders and his crew were nothing short of fantastic to work with, without a doubt one of my best experiences ever with the construction trade. Tim was very professional in responding to my inquiry and was very prompt in visiting our job, discussing the project and providing a very detailed written estimate which he emailed to me within a day or two of our meeting. After getting two other estimates, my wife and I decided to have Sanders and Sons do the job, not because they were the least expensive but because they were the most professional and seemed the most interested in meeting our needs and those of our project. Prior to starting the job, Tim maintained excellent communication via text or email to provide samples of both brick and mortar colors and to apprise us of his anticipated work schedule. During the construction phase which was about a week, Tim continually kept us "in the loop" regarding his suggestions (we changed a couple of things during the project) and timeframe as the work on the project progressed. As the project neared completion the Sanders crew did a couple of small additional brick projects for us at no additional charge (one at my request and one on their own initiative). Finally, this crew was the neatest crew I have ever experienced, they cleaned up every night before they left, warned me in advance when they were going to be making a lot of dust, and powerwashed the driveway (not in their estimate) when they were finished. The final bill was exactly what we had agreed it would be before the job began, no unexpected additional charges although they did run into some unexpected problems as the job evolved. Our house was built in1936 and having lived in it for 25 years we have done a lot of renovation including new kitchen, sunroom addition, painting, plaster work, remodeled 3 bathrooms, relandscaped the exterior and more. With all of these projects I have never experienced a better and more professional construction crew than Sanders and Sons.

Tim came out to my home to put together an estimate on repairing the masonry on my brick front porch. He spent a fair amount of time examining the porch and offering to do a sample patch. He said he would get an estimate to me in a week. That deadline came and went, and when I heard from him next, he said I would have by the end of that day. I haven't heard from him since.

It was great! I knew from reading positive reviews on Angie's List that Tim would be the one for the job. He was immediately responsive to my request to be contacted. He was very good about communicating and setting expectations. It took awhile for him to get to me because of some other jobs, but I understood that and felt it was worth the wait to go with the best contractor. Once Tim came to my home and we agreed to the job, he left with a brick sample and immediately found matching bricks. He came back a few days later and he and his son Chad constructed the brick portion of the steps, making them longer and wider than what was originally there. They did impeccable work. It matched seamlessly with the rest of the house. We had to wait a few weeks for the limestone treads. Tim kept me informed and up to date with that process. He was at the mercy of the stone company used to order and manufacture the stone - they kept us waiting awhile, but Tim kept me in the loop of what was going on. When Tim and Chad returned to set the limestone - again they did extremely professional work. It looks great - the steps look original to the house. We are very please and wouldn't hesitate to use Sanders and Sons again.

Tim and Chad were great to work with. I was very happy with their services and results. Nice honest hard working guys that do what they say and then some probably. I would not hesitate to refer them to anyone.

Originally was only going to repair the front steps which were brick. But after talking to Tim I decided that the best course was to follow his advice and to replace the broken bricks along the edge of the porch, re-mortar the porch in certain places and to put cement tops on the brick base on the front steps. Tim and Chad showed up at the house on schedule and were always very professional and courteous. The job took a little longer than expected but they worked around weather issues which they had no control over. They did a great job. The porch looks great and the new concrete steps are an improvement over the brick only steps. Tim and Chad communicated well in person, over email and text messages. They both are skilled craftsman. I am glad I selected them to complete the job...the finished product is awesome.

My house was built in 1926. There is approximately 3 cement blocks height on the exterior of the house from the ground up to the main floor of the house. Over the decades and the severe drought a couple of years ago, the mortar was cracked or missing. Sanders & Sons drilled out the old mortar and replaced it with new. I also had a crack across my front porch with a significant height difference between the 2 pieces. Sanders and Sons repaired this, getting it nearly level and totally eliminating the trip hazard it had become. Both repairs, foundation and porch, took just 2 days (long days). Their cleanup included power-washing of the mortar dust off the house, driveway, and porch. They even cleaned the dust off the front porch furniture. Plantings around the foundation received minimal damage and I do not expect to have to replace any of it. They had just repaired the foundation of my neighbors home. When I saw the quality, I knew they were the only ones I would use, as my neighbor's foundation looked like a brand new foundation! I am a perfectionist and had procrastinated as a result, wanting the work to be perfect. I am glad I waited until my discovery of Sanders and Sons. My foundation is now perfect and is awaiting painting once it is cured in about 30 days. The same for the porch. Sanders and Sons is the only company I will use for my chimney, foundation, brick, or concrete work. I am totally amazed and impressed with the quality of their work and am already recommending them to my neighbors and co-workers.

I could not be more happy and delighted with the work that Tim and Chad Sanders did on my house. It exceeded all expectations. They were very knowledgeable about their work, what needed to be done, and took time to answer all my questions. They were very timely from first contact, through initial visit, estimate, and job completion. The quality of their work is exceptional. They left the site clean each day. Mr. Sanders showed up when he said he would for the estimate and when we accepted the estimate he said they would be back to do the work within 72 hours. His son called and showed up to do the work sooner than that. He did a great job and Mr. Sanders came back to inspect the work. We were so pleased to have someone do exactly as they said they would since we had been making phone calls to others that were never even returned or said they would be here and didn't show. The workmanship was excellent and we would definitely recommend them to anyone else.

Tim was wonderful from the beginning of the bidding process. He was responsive through phone calls and text messages. He came on the start date he gave us and even with a slight delay in weather he finished ontime. He always told me when he would be there in the morning and gave me an update on the project in the evening. On rainy days he texted me to let me know he would not be able to work due to weather, whichI knew but his communication was always welcomed! I highly recommend Tim Sanders and his sons for any masonry work.
