The new mortar looks lovely, and has kept the rain out. Tim stayed in constant contact in the days leading up to the project, so I always knew what our timeline would be. He and his crew were great!

We were told by another company that the work we needed done would be very expensive and we would have to wait until after the holidays to start the job. We took advantage of Tim's design skills and experience for work that draws compliments from throughout the neighborhood. Tim spent time with us up front to make sure we knew what we were getting and provided samples of different mortar colors. Our home is a 1930 English Tudor with some irregularities in how the chimney was constructed. Tim helped make sure the cap was formed properly and helped us understand the work they performed. + -1 moreOh my gosh! What a transformation! I opted to repair my stairs, not replace them, but, honestly, they all look new. Tim's son is a artisan and spent a lot of time on the details. I didn't know concrete could look so good. They are coming back in two weeks to stain the concrete to help it blend in with the older sidewalk around the house. I am very pleased.

Tim was very clear through the entire process and communication was excellent. He was very honest and detailed about the work being performed and worked around our schedule. + 0 moreIt went very well. It is an old chimney and they also gave valuable advice for future repairs when needed.
Description of Work: My Chimney Top needed repair due to several bricks popping off. I left Tim Sanders a msg and he called and came out the next day. After inspection he said would infill corner void of missing bricks. Infill all voided or missing mortar joints as needed to make brickwork structurally sound and prevent water intrusion. Recap existing concrete top with commercial grade concrete resurfacing product, make smooth and sloped for water drainage. Much Tuck Pointing was needed and they infilled all open mortar joints. All areas of mortar repair was tooled and brushed to a neat finish. Tim kept in contact with me at all times and he an Chad did an excellent job. They even worked me after I had initially decided to go with a "friend of a friend." When that didn't work out I called Tim back an he worked me in right away. Would definitely recommend them and would hire again.

+ 1 moreTim Sanders came out and looked at our chimney and gave us an estimate on the spot for replacing the brick. The brick was spalling badly on the top six feet and random brick the rest of the way down. Tim went to all the brick yards to find a match to our existing brick. Our house is close to 35 years old so the brick was hard to match. Tim found a match and it was delivered within 2 weeks. The tear off of the old brick started within a couple of days and only took one day. The crew did a fantastic job cleaning up after. Within a week the new brick was up. A good match for the brick and mortar. They added a nice concrete top. Tim Sanders kept us up to date almost daily on the progress. We are very happy with the work from Sanders and Sons. I would recommend them to anyone that needs any kind of masonry work done.
