This was my second experience with Russell Hill Contractors. Ramsey was very courteous and talked us through the process/timeline for the roof inspection and installing gutters to our garage. He set expectations and we couldn't be happier. The gutters look great, our foundation is happier and drier, and we also have a great idea of what we can look forward to when our roof needs more attention.

The whole process went great. Ramsey took extra care and time to explain the whole process. The work was performed well and on time. We received great follow up to make sure we were happy.

It went very well. Joe was responsive and professional and provided all the information necessary. Since it was raining almost every day, he came out and put a tarp around the chimney to help quash the leak until he was able to fix it. When he did, he took care of repair in a very timely manner. Going to use him again as I'm waiting on estimate to put in a basement ceiling.

Everything looks great! They came on time, communicated well and I plan on using them again to replace the roof here soon. Thanks for all your help and a great experience!

Terrific experience. Ramsey Furniss came over to inspect my roof and discovered there was wind damage. He felt an insurance claim was justified. He coordinated brilliantly with the insurance adjuster to make sure the claim was properly handled. He also was able to make the justification in the insurance claim for new decking because the old decking was not to code. This is something the contractor who did my roof in 2006 missed. The job went well and Ramsey & Joe (owners) did all they promised and then some. I especially found their crews to be friendly and professional. I would definitely hire them again and am recommending them to my friends.

Joe and Victor did a great job on my roof and it appears that I’m completely dry. They were punctual and professional. We highly recommend them to anyone.

Joe was wonderful to work with. He did a thorough inspection of our entire roof and once the problem was identified, took the time to talk through the issue and his recommendations to not only repair but prevent the issue from happening again. He was responsive to all our questions and concerns. His proposals were very detailed and easy to understand. The work was performed as promised and on time. Long story short: Russell Hill Contracting was by far the best choice for our roof repair. We had a terrible experience with a contractor recommended by our insurance company. We sought 5 new estimates for a second opinion and Russell Hill contracting was by far the best choice. --- So, I arrived home from a long trip to find a 3'x1' stain on the ceiling of our living room. I climbed into the attic to find that we had a stream of water coming in through the ridge vent. I called our insurer and he recommended Universal Roofing to come take a look at it. Universal came after much delay and provided an estimate. After another extended delay, they completed the "repair". They came and went without letting us know the repair was completed. I got an invoice by email which was my only way of knowing that a "repair" was done. A week later, another leak started... a new stain. I had Universal come back to see if this was related to their prior fix. This time the manager came along. After a quick trip in the attic, they decided that the entire 10 year old roof needs replaced. They weren't willing to fix small area because the "shingles were turning". I'm not an idiot... I hopped on a home improvement rating site and sought 2nd opinions. As usual, you get 10 calls almost immediately. Of the 10, I scheduled for 5 of them to visit and look at the roof. All five said the roof did not need replaced and they could repair the fix. Most said that they didn't think Universal even completed any repairs. Russell Hill was the only one who jumped into the attic and scaled the roof to look at the problem. Joe was extremely thorough and identified the issues right away. He came back on a day with better weather and fixed the problem areas right way. Russell Hill Contracting was by far the most reasonable and thorough of any contractor who came to our house. They were the only company who was concerned about the immediate leak issue and the only one to share pictures of the issue and repairs. I highly recommend them for any roofing related work and am happy to respond to any messages if you have any questions. Thanks Joe for the great experience!

Since we had never filed an insurance claim or replaced a roof, we wanted to go with a personal recommendation. Russell Hill was referred to us by a neighbor and we were very happy with the professionalism and attention to detail that was provided by Ramsey. Ramsey met with the insurance adjuster and was able to show him the areas of concern- the adjuster even commented that Ramsey was very easy to work with compared to other companies. We were explained the process by both the adjuster and Ramsey and felt comfortable moving forward. The roof was installed on the date promised. Naturally, due to weather there were minor changes, but Ramsey always kept us updated. The roof, gutters and window screens look amazing. We arereally happy with the quality of work and wouldn't hesitate to call Russell Hill again.

They were prompt in going to the house to give an estimate and provided a written proposal, which I really appreciated. It detailed everything and what needed to be done. Half in advance and the rest when the work was done. My tenant felt they were very personable and professional. We definitely would hire them again.

I am very detail oriented when it comes to repairs and services provided. This team really believes in providing quality work to their customers. They were exceptional in working with my insurance adjuster to cover repairs and kept me well informed throughout the process.

It went well. They sent pictures informing us of the progress throughout the day.

I paid for a "deal purchase" which included a full inspection and minor repairs to be done. Then the deal stated I would get a $200 credit for larger repairs that would have to be done at a later time. The guy came out to my house and could not pinpoint the reason for the leaking. He went through various possible options and said he would quote me on all of them but never found the real cause. He also only went up on a ladder and looked at my roof for MAYBE 15 minutes. The deal said they would go in my attic and do a full inspection as well as minor repairs which both were never done. Anyway, I never received the quote so I emailed them 4-5 weeks later and they said they would look into it and send me the quote that day. They finally sent the quote the following day (dated for that day) and said they had done the estimate the same week they came out but maybe sent it to the wrong person. So basically I paid for a crappy inspection when I could have gotten a free inspection from other companies that would do what you paid for as listed in the deal.

I had a great review written but I guess it was too many characters. Short and seeet version. I have used the company about 4 times now and love the work and the genuine people. I’m happy they are doing well because great people should win!

Work was done efficiently and it is very high quality. They cleaned up very well too. They got us on their schedule very quickly and Ramsey is always very responsive. He was extremely helpful in dealing with the insurance company, and handled most of those matters. Made it very easy for us. We love our new roof!

After placing an offer on a home to potentially purchase, our home inspector found that the roof was not in good condition. To get a better idea of what we were getting into, we called in the roofing professionals of Russell Hill Contractors. A couple of the owners came prepared to get their hands dirty and give us a full inspection of the roof. They did a great job of talking us through their process, as well as giving us insights on exactly what they were doing and looking for, specifically. After the on-roof inspection was complete, we went into the attic and lower levels of the house to look for other signs and symptoms of other issues stemming from water damage. After it was all said and done, we were very grateful for their professionalism AND thoroughness. Due to their findings, which we totally agreed with, based upon the pictures, moisture measurements, insights, etc, we decided to not move forward with this house. If it were not for their completed inspection, this could have been a great financial burden to us, as we later found the seller was not going to work with us regarding the roof.

Russell Hill Contracting is the way to go for a high quality roof replacement. Ramsey and his team have been phenomenal to work with and are extremely knowledgeable about the entire process including the insurance claim process. I would use them again for sure. Don’t trust anyone to do your roof, it is much more technical than you think and Russell Hill is very experienced and trustworthy.
