As always, everything went smoothly. I have had Ramsey to my house several times for roofing and gutter installations. He is always on time, friendly, professional and I would not hesitate to continue to hire and recommend this company.

Joe came out to give me an estimate and within 10 min, he told me they weren't the right people for this job, not because it was out of their skill set but because he knew there was A LOT and he wanted to help my dollar stretch further by working directly with craftspeople. He still spent an hour at my place taking me through all the details and educating me on the situation. He showed me photos of everything. I appreciated the time he spent and he offered a referral to a person he'd used in the past.

This company represents the height of integrity. I had high-wind roof damage and checked Angie's List for a reputable repairman. Joseph Hill responded right away, scheduled an appointment and arrived exactly on time. He inspected the damage to my roof and gave me extremely valuable advice on how to proceed with the repairs. I heartily recommend him and his company for the honest and professional way they conduct their business.

Our home needed all the exterior trim replaced due to rotting. We contacted Ramsey with Russell Hill and he was awesome. Came out within 24 hours. Talked to us about our issues and assessed the problem areas. Provided us a very reasonable quote that same evening and was able to schedule & complete the job within 2 weeks. Could not recommend Ramsey and Joe, his business partner enough. Great company to deal with.

By far some of the best customer service I’ve ever experienced. Everyone was extremely helpful. Workers arrived on time, cleaned the worksite daily, and were very professional. RHC worked with my insurance company to make sure I got everything I needed repaired and covered. The general contractor was efficient, courteous, and available for any questions when I needed him. I will use this company and would highly recommend.

Russell Hill was great throughout the whole process. From the quote, insurance inspection and completion of the project Ramsey and his crew were professional and easy to deal with. We had storm damage from a hail storm that hit the area. I reached out to my network to see who had experience with a roofing company and came up short. I took the recommendation to reach out to Russell Hill from a neighborhood site and was happy that I did from the first interaction. Ramsey was quick to help with everything and was also able to secure additional benefits for my roof that I wasn't aware were available. I was happy with the service and appreciate that I can call him directly if there are any questions that I have even today.

Russell Hill was great to work with and made the process of filing a complex claim easy and they communicated and broke down the entire process of replacing the roof clearly. Ramsey was present during the roof inspection to corroborate the inspectors findings with me, which was great as the initial inspector that my insurance company sent out did not do a thorough inspection, which prompted me to ask for another inspection. Once the insurance claim was approved, Russell Hill worked with an independent, registered claims adjuster who ensured that all components of the roofing system, including our skylights, were covered under the claim, and all we paid out of pocket was our deductible. They completed the replacement in just over a day and all of their laborers were very professional and did a thorough job cleaning up after the replacement. Ramsey was in constant communication with my during the entire process to make sure that I was updated with the project progress and to ensure that I was satisfied with all of the work. We also used Russell Hill to paint all of our exterior siding and replace our shutters. We pretty much have a new house from an exterior perspective, which both my wife and I love.

Joe was extremely responsive and timely. He was friendly and professional. He could have easily misinformed me and charged me much more for my roof issue, but he was very honest with me. I would definitely hire Joe again for my roofing needs. We need more people like this in the contracting business!

Wonderful guys are true professionals

This was my second experience with Russell Hill Contractors. Ramsey was very courteous and talked us through the process/timeline for the roof inspection and installing gutters to our garage. He set expectations and we couldn't be happier. The gutters look great, our foundation is happier and drier, and we also have a great idea of what we can look forward to when our roof needs more attention.

The whole process went great. Ramsey took extra care and time to explain the whole process. The work was performed well and on time. We received great follow up to make sure we were happy.

It went very well. Joe was responsive and professional and provided all the information necessary. Since it was raining almost every day, he came out and put a tarp around the chimney to help quash the leak until he was able to fix it. When he did, he took care of repair in a very timely manner. Going to use him again as I'm waiting on estimate to put in a basement ceiling.

Terrific experience. Ramsey Furniss came over to inspect my roof and discovered there was wind damage. He felt an insurance claim was justified. He coordinated brilliantly with the insurance adjuster to make sure the claim was properly handled. He also was able to make the justification in the insurance claim for new decking because the old decking was not to code. This is something the contractor who did my roof in 2006 missed. The job went well and Ramsey & Joe (owners) did all they promised and then some. I especially found their crews to be friendly and professional. I would definitely hire them again and am recommending them to my friends.

Joe was wonderful to work with. He did a thorough inspection of our entire roof and once the problem was identified, took the time to talk through the issue and his recommendations to not only repair but prevent the issue from happening again. Long story short: Russell Hill Contracting was by far the best choice for our roof repair. We had a terrible experience with a contractor recommended by our insurance company. We sought 5 new estimates for a second opinion and Russell Hill contracting was by far the best choice. --- So, I arrived home from a long trip to find a 3'x1' stain on the ceiling of our living room. I climbed into the attic to find that we had a stream of water coming in through the ridge vent. I called our insurer and he recommended Universal Roofing to come take a look at it. Universal came after much delay and provided an estimate. After another extended delay, they completed the "repair". They came and went without letting us know the repair was completed. I got an invoice by email which was my only way of knowing that a "repair" was done. A week later, another leak started... a new stain. I had Universal come back to see if this was related to their prior fix. This time the manager came along. After a quick trip in the attic, they decided that the entire 10 year old roof needs replaced. They weren't willing to fix small area because the "shingles were turning". I'm not an idiot... I hopped on a home improvement rating site and sought 2nd opinions. As usual, you get 10 calls almost immediately. Of the 10, I scheduled for 5 of them to visit and look at the roof. All five said the roof did not need replaced and they could repair the fix. Most said that they didn't think Universal even completed any repairs. Russell Hill was the only one who jumped into the attic and scaled the roof to look at the problem. Joe was extremely thorough and identified the issues right away. He came back on a day with better weather and fixed the problem areas right way. Russell Hill Contracting was by far the most reasonable and thorough of any contractor who came to our house. They were the only company who was concerned about the immediate leak issue and the only one to share pictures of the issue and repairs. I highly recommend them for any roofing related work and am happy to respond to any messages if you have any questions. Thanks Joe for the great experience!
