This is the third time that I have used them. They have always been timely, professional, and affordable.

Jason, Roy's nephew arrived on time and ahead of schedule with a heads-up call from Roy. As in the past, this company goes above and beyond. Jason removed my window air conditioner for no extra charge. Pleasure to do business with Jason & Roy.

A week ago I had my furnace inspected by Mr. Qwik as part of their Shake program, which was sold to me as a cheap tune up for major systems in the house. It turned out that the tune up was really just an inspection in which they could tell me if my furnace needed replaced. It turned out the furnace did in fact need to be replaced as the heat exchanger had cracked. Mr. Qwik quickly gave me a quote for a new furnace and a 10 year parts and labor warranty for $3600. This was with financing through Trane. There were also some more expensive options all the way up to a nearly $15,000 system with Heat and AC. None the less the 3600 was for the furnace only, 80% efficient. Not a bad deal but I thought I'd get a second opinion as I did not fully understand the problem at this point and wanted to see if I could get away with just cleaning the A-coil and replacing the overheat sensor. I called around and the next person that came over to the house was Roy. Roy took his time, explained the issues I had but unfortunately still recommended a new furnace. The cracked heat exchanger meant it really was time to replace it, that and the furnace was 24 years old so some other parts seemed like they were likely to fail in the near future. Roy took the time to explain to me the different options I had. Replacing just the furnace with him would be $2400 with a Ducane unit, cash payment, or $2600 for a Trane, financed, this was with the 10 year parts and labor. Already much more favorable than Mr. Qwik, whose cheapest price was $3k with a 1 year labor warranty, 10 year parts. After talking a bit, he explained that the A-coil could also use replacement as it is also very old, but an A-coil cost $600, Because of this we agreed to replace the whole system, Condenser, A-coil, and furnace for $4000 cash. later we agreed a condensation pump to help move water away from the a-coil, and help with the humidifier might be needed for an additonal $125. Roy also agreed to make our old whole house humidifier work for us at no additional charge. He seemed very concerned about making sure everything was perfect, the old AC condenser wiring was not so great and he cleaned that up, the old furnace did not have an emergency shut off switch and he added one to get it to follow modern code. The furnace has been in and working for about 3 days now and the install really seems top notch, No one likes spending money on things like this, but at least it's one less thing that we have to worry about for awhile.

Showed up on time. Fixed and described a problem found in heat exchanger. He was clean and wore a company uniform. Reasonably priced.

These guys were awesome from start to finish. They went above and beyond our expectations at an amazing price. They were at our house for 8 hours and were nothing but wonderful. Completely happy with their service and will recommend them again and again.

I got them from Angie's List. First of all, he answers his own phone. He told me that he needs to get out here and he came early. It was a day without the air conditioning unit and it was very humid. He waives the service call if he actually does the repair.

Our AC went out on Sunday (of course!) We called Roy Rogers HVAC based on reviews here at Angie's List. He came out that day, w/o charging us an extra weekend fee. Recommended that unit be replaced - which we figured, because it was old when we bought the house. Turns out it was a 1969 model! He and his crew had a new one installed by Monday afternoon. Based on all the info I researched on-line, the price for a 3.5 ton AC unit, parts and labor, including new exchanger for furnace inside (to current fluid) was reasonable. Crew was courteous and quick, left our hone clean, including carting off the old, rusty unit. New AC has worked perfectly so far.

Techs went over the system completely. Corrected several problems. Roy also found a gas leak I didn't know I had. Great service, will call again

We contacted Roy Rogers on a Saturday since my pregnant daughter's furnace would not come on. Did not even have to leave a message - he answered the phone right away. Even though he was in Carmel at the time and we were on the Southside of Indy, he was there in two hours time as estimated. It took Roy only a short time to diagnose the problem. The part we needed was not common anymore so it had to be ordered on Monday. Roy had to call several places and finally found the part in Ft. Wayne so it had to be delivered overnight to arrive on Tuesday. Roy was back on Tuesday as promised to install the new part. He added a tune up and also gave the furnace a full inspection once it ws operating again. Roy was very prorfessional but also just downright nice and compassionate! He explained a lot of things to us for preventative measures and was very understanding about our financial situation. He was so generous and kind he even gave us a tune up and no charge. He didn't charge us extra for coming to our rescue on a weekend nor for having to overnight the part we needed. He stayed with his original quote even though the part ended up costing him more than he originally estimated. Roy is a good guy who helps people who are struggling in this poor economy. I would highly recommend Roy not only for his expertise and his great customer service, but also for his kindess to others. He truly cares about his clients.

Since no service was performed and he canceled out on me with the project mentioned above all I can say is that this type of behavior from a contractor makes one loose a lot of time, to say the least about it.

From start to finish there are not enough great comments I could give this service provider! He answered the phone when I called initially around 7pm on a HOT Friday evening and made room in is schedule to come out the next day on a Saturday for no additional charge. He was prompt, very professional, and his experience and knowledge showed through out the job from quickly diagnosing and repairing the a/c unit to explaining to me what needed replaced and how much it would cost. He went the extra mile to show me exactly what issues the unit was having and why, and took the time to educate me on how properly trained technicians should service an air conditioner. Roy Rogers is honest, hard working, knowledgeable, and a very nice guy to work with. I can say with out a doubt that this is the BEST experience I have had with an Angie's List service provider. I will definitely HIGHLY recommend him to ANY ONE needing service on their heating or cooling system.

Everything went very smoothly. He came out within days and looked over the unit. He orderd the coil and came out the following week to replace. He was professional, courteous, and did an excellent job!!

They have been very excellent. They were extremely prompt and thorough. They cleaned up after themselves. They are very reasonably priced.

Roy, inspected furnace, went straight to the problem. Use gauges to check HST and gas pressure. Pressure was wrong, he adjusted, performed tune up, and safety inspection.

We discovered that one of our furnaces was not operating. Contacted the service provider who was there the next day and completed all repairs quickly and efficiently.

My husband and I would rather support small businesses as opposed to large corporations. As a gentleman who took the brave step to start his own business from having 20 years of experience working for large companies, I was very happy with Roy's work. He went above and beyond and was very realistic and honest when it came to pricing. I will use his services in the spring again for a tune up on the air conditioning and recommend anyone reading this to do the same.

We heard about his company through friends who had used his services. He came very highly recommended and proved to be just what they said... knowledgeable and honest with budget-friendly repairs!!
