.They are honest and they get here in a reasonable manner. When they say they are going to be here at a certain time they are usually here. Their quality of work is really good. They allow getting your own parts versus them supplying the parts. Maybe you can find it cheaper a lot of customers think that the service providers are trying to rip them off with them getting you the parts so this company allows you to get your own parts. I will continue to use them in the future.

The work was done exactly as they said it would be. I called the afternoon before, they said they would be out in the morning, and were there at 9 (they called to confirm first). They had the item needed on their truck and did a great job.

It is family business. It is a nearby. They are responsive. It is an individual so there is chain of accountability. People are knowledgeable and sympathetic. I have called them when I had a problem and they have talked me through it without coming out and charging me anything. When I do want them to come out they come really quickly. I will use them in the future.

Rex was there was quickly as possible after the bad ice storm this year in early February and was prompt and courteous in completing all necessary work. It's a good feeling knowing you can trust him when these types of problems develop.

We called and told them about the leak. They came and inspected it and had a replacement in stock. They returned with a new water heater and installed it. It only took 2 hours from when they first came to look until it was installed and they left. Very knowledgeable and nice people

I have used them for at least 12 years and they have probably installed at least 5 water heaters during that time for me in my properties that I own. They are professional and price competitive with others and they are family owned.

I think he has always gone the extra mile to give good service and his office manager is always friendly!

I don't remember exactly, but they have always been professional about fixing everything. I think the toilet was still having a problem from a previous call, and they fixed it free of charge because the plumber said he should have recognized the problem last time he was here. I believe the problem was the had to replace the flush handle. They have also cleaned out drains for me on several occassions and always do a good job.

The one they put in went out and I called them back. They said they didn't put it in and I knew they did but I couldn't find the receipt. They said that they didn't do the work and I knew they did because I saw the truck in the drive. I ordered one from GE and put it in myself. Then I found the receipt and it said that the parts were guaranteed. I would never use them again. They are not honest and I don?t know how good they keep their records. The guy originally came within a few hours of my call and the price was good.

for the most part, rex may plumbing does an adequate job. i would say their strongest point is their responsiveness. they have helped us out over the years with a couple plumbing emergencies, a complete old house basement replacement plumbing project, and various other projects. most recently, they installed replacement exterior faucets for us. one of them froze/cracked over the past winter and created a water disaster in the remodeled basement. they insist that the 10 inch piece of hose left attached to the faucet created the crack/water disaster. we're not so sure. when they came out to help with the resulting disaster, they were very distant and unfriendly. they replaced the replacement faucet with the exact model since they said it wasn't the fault of the faucet itself. they charged us for it. no warranty/guarantee. upon the first use of this second replacement faucet a week later, the exterior faucet handled leaked profusely. we called them to report them in somewhat of a foul mood after all we have gone thru. when they installed the faucet, they apparently had not tightened the faucet handle appropriately. we have talked to many people about this plumbing company since this last round of unfortunate experiences, and they are not overly surprised. the common theme seems to be that the company was once quite good are recommendable but over the past few years and the handing down of the business from one generation to the next generation, that it has not kept up with its past reputation. our two cents for what it is worth.

This morning, our backup battery began to sound an alarm. The battery indicated there was a sump pump failure. After resetting the alarm numerous times to no avail, we then added water to try to activate the pump. No success. We called Rex May Plumbing, who had installed both the sump pump and back-up battery in 2009 (by previous homeowner). The company responded promptly with a return call and Rex arrived within the hour. He determined there was a malfunctioning switch, and replaced it with a new one. This fixed the problem!

Great - I scheduled an appointment, he showed up on time and did a great job. They are honest and fair.

They arrived when they stated, were very professional and thorough. Job lasted a couple hours and completed the repairs completely. Gas was turned back on by the utility and have had no issues. I have not received a bill as of yet so I am unable to provide feedback as I have no idea of the cost. I will update my rating report when the bill is received.

It went fine overall. Fixed 2 items.

They installed a new commode in the bathroom. I also called them when the sewer was backed up which they were unable to help with. They were able to recommend someone who could and even followed up later to make sure everything went well.

Overall, I have been very satisfied with their services. I have used them multiple times, plan to use them again in the future.

They do a great job but I thought the price was a little high.

Rick removed the tank (after draining) and replaced the bolts on the bottom. He explained why the leak had occurred so we also had him chick out the other toilets in the house and replace the other bolts as well. He left no mess and was willing to check out as many items as we desired.

The service went well. They were very prompt, knowledgeable, professional, and we were very pleased with them.

It was great. One gentleman came in and we talked. I told him what I needed done and he went on and did it.

The price was reasonable. They were there in a timely manner and were professional.

Very well. He installed the new disposal, and replaced some of the drain pipe which he said was not installed to work as efficiently as it could. Very pleasant and informative. I will definitely use this company for all my plumbing needs in the future, and am so glad my neighbor recommended them.

Great experience! They arrived almost exactly when they said they would, and the job took just as long as quoted. The price was exactly as they quoted as well. This was the second time we've used this company, and both times they have performed solidly. Will definitely use them again in the future!
