They are excellent. I have them come back whenever I need anything. They came on time and got the work done quickly. They cleaned up when they were finished.

We called Rex May at approximately 9 am because of a severe leak in our drain system. The lady said they expected a truck in from a job by noon. The plumber arrived about 12:30, quickly located the problem & went right to work removing the leaking pipes. They finished what turned out to be a difficult plumbing problem in about 1 1/2 hours. They were very professional and obviously quite experienced. We were well pleased with their responsiveness & with their work.

When we moved there were about 3 things to change out in the bathrooms and I also sent them to my daughter's house. We already had all the hardware. The workers accidentally broke the sink at my daughters house, and did not say that they would replace it when they left. I called and the receptionist had to talk to owners, who came out to see the sink. He asked if the workers had explained that if they take the faucet out it may break. They had not explained that to her, so they replaced the entire sink at no charge, and comped the entire project. They are responsible for what they do and take care of their mistakes. They were very punctual about resolving issues.

He came out when the problem came back due to having to address two different pipes. He did a great job and charged us much less than another plumber who had come out months earlier and only fixed half of the problem. Rex is very competent and really knows what he is doing.

They're very courteous. They come when they say they will. They bill us instead of tapping their foot while waiting for our credit card. I've been very, very happy with them.

Rex May's son was here the very next morning after my call. The work was done in less than 1 hour. He & his helper were very professional & the clean up was excellent. When I inquired about how much I owed them, they said that a bill would be send from the office. WOW!

My home sump pump went out (it was 18 years old) in heavy rains. I called Rex May Plumbing and explained my problem. I was told I would be scheduled for a house call the same day. I was called when the repairman left for my home where I met him. The pump well was cleaned and the new sump pump installed within an hour. The mechanical room was left clean and the pump in working great.

Our lift pump in the basement got hung up and water was backing up into our basement bathroom. Rex May quickly returned my telephone message and had a crew out right a way. The crew was friendly, well prepared to clean up their mess, and knowledgeable. They also went above and beyond to put padding around the pipes so that they wouldn't rattle against the ductwork so much when the pump turned on. The only thing I wish I knew before they left was the cost of the visit- which turned out to be the minimum service call charge.

Very responsive. No issues. I have always been happy with their work.

Rex came out to see the job. He provided a quote within a week. His price was about half of the other quote I received. He planned on making 2 trips, but ended up making 3 because the marble contractor didn't cut the right holes. He was very accommodating working around other contractors, he was polite and courteous. He left the work environment very clean. I would definitely hire Rey May again.

I called at 8:00 AM Monday morning, they were there by 11:00. The quote was quick, he had the part on his truck and fixed it in a short period of time. Work was done quickly and he left the area clean. Great job overall.

My main concern was the horrible sewer odor in the guest bathroom. It came and went for 6 weeks. I could get it to go away if I poured bleach and water in all the drains. It would be OK for a few days and come back again. I called a plumber (not Rex May) who came out. Of course, it was not smelling when he came. He thought it was probably the bath tub drain with a dry trap, but would have to pull the tub out to check it. (I am on a slab). I decided I needed a second opinion. So I called Angie's List and spoke with Sean?; A neighborhood representative. He did a Keyword search for me on "odor" and found 2 plumbers, one being Rex May. I called them and they came out the next day. I was convinced the odor was from the bathtub drain, so I was elated when he said all he had to do was cut a hole in the wall. The drain was dry. He said he thought it was probably the seal on the toilet. He fixed that and the other problems I listed. I was amazed at the low price!

I have a friend who has used Rex May many times over the years and always speaks highly of this company.

He used a "sewer gas" detector to test the odor which proved not to be from the drain or plumbing. He got down on his hands and knees and sniffed out the problem which was a very defunct rat that had evidently gotten some poison set out by previous owners. At that point, I fled the scene, but my husband reports that it was nasty.

When the city hooked up the water, we chose to leave out outside water lines on the well. I tried to turn on the water the other day, and nothing came out. Rex May came out and inspected the well and the pump, and discovered that the pump was not functioning. The cost was too high to repair the pump, so he hooked the outside lines to the city water line. Rex May has done quite a bit of work for us over the years, and he is always efficient, pleasant and reasonably priced.

Mr. May responded quickly and did the work in about an hour and was a pleasure to deal with. I thought the price was very reasonable. I felt like he was sincere and honest.

They were fast, efficient, reasonably priced, and we really like them. We use them for our home and business. They are very reliable.

They're prompt, reliable, courteous and they show up on time. They aren't inexpensive, but most plumbers are.

The plumber was very courteous and pleasing to work with. I can't remember his name, but it is a family-owned business, so I think it was a son or brother of Rex May.

Was a pleasant experience. There were two people from company. Were professional, efficient and explained what the problem was and what was required to fix it.

Rex was prompt, friendly and professional. After waiting for the weather to clear (so the crawl space would be dry) the work was scheduled in a timely manner and the company called well in advance at our request to give us time to clear things out of their way before they came. The young men who came to do the work were polite and efficient. Our pantry backs up to the laundry room and the original plan was that the new pipe might have to come through the wall of that room. They located the new drain pipe out of the way and worked to find a way to get it to the crawl space without having it show up in the pantry. We're very pleased with their work.

Came within a half hour of being called, was courteous and competent.

I am more than pleased with their work! They came within 24 hours of my initial call, were on-time, friendly, polite and did an excellent job. I would recommend them to anyone. The cost was very reasonable as well.
