Rectify Solar

I would recommend taking your business elsewhere. We signed a contract with them in Nov '21 for work to be completed in May '22 for a large multi-house project. In Nov '22 the work was finally "completed." Throughout that time there was minimal to no communication. I would get text messages about a work crew coming to work on the install and no one would ever show up. I would get last minute text messages asking for access to inside areas they had previously claimed they didn't need access. I have had them call and inform me that a "string of panels" was not functioning, only to have the tech arrive and say everything looks fine and it's all working. I still have never been given access to the system monitoring software, despite claims that I have, so I have no way of verifying if anything is working outside of random screenshots they send of their computer monitors. On of the least professional companies I've encountered. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere.

Paid 40% down in December, 2019 for both systems. Panels installed March- April 2020. Panels still not on line with electric companies. And no agreement to install net meter in place with Duke electric due to poor communication at one residence even though full price has been paid. . At second residence, communication has been better and agreement with IPL to install net meter is in place. Hoping that systems are in place by the end of 2020 in order to receive 26% tax benefit. I don’t know what is typical but communication on process was poor - seems to be improving somewhat. Panels and installation were of good quality.

When we 1st contacted Rectify they seemed very professional and knowledgeable. The representative came down and met with my husband and discussed what we were interested in installing. At the time we were not sure if we wanted a backup battery system installed with the panels. We had another company give us an estimate also. Once we were firm on how many panels we wanted and the backup that were were interested in installing we contacted the representative for additional information and for an updated quote so we could compare the cost of systems from the 2 vendors. That's where things fell apart. We do not know what happened, but we did not get any replies from Rectify or any type of follow-up calls. I thought it was pretty obvious that we were serious about installing a system and Rectify was in the running for our business until they totally dropped out of the picture. We have since signed a contract with another solar company for a system with 22 panels and a battery back-up system, so Rectify really hurt themselves by not returning our correspondence. We had hoped to give our business to a company in Indiana, but had to go to Ohio to find a company that responded to our questions.

It went great. Phil Teague answered dozens of questions, generated multiple quotes to fit our needs, and was incredibly professional. He ensured that the system was functioning as it should long after the installation. I would highly recommend Rectify for any of your solar needs, whether retrofitting an existing system or just exploring whether solar makes sense for you.

Phil was excellent answering all my questions and returning communication promptly. The team was punctual and professional, and the installation went smoothly. I am very happy with the solar panels and monitoring system, and I will definitely hire Rectify Solar when I expand my solar panel system.

It all went smoothly. We are very happy with the service we received. Phil worked with our vacation plans and we appreciated that. It was a perfect job from our perspective. The price of the installation seemed appropriate. We could not be happier.

Rectify first came out and assessed our needs. We had thought we might like to put solar panels on the roof of our house and our garage. There were several different options offered and the sales person assisted us in deciding to only put solar panels on our house roof for the time being. Rectify installed the panels on our roof and wired them into the house electrical system fast and efficiently. But installing the panels was just the beginning. The customer service Rectify gave us included leading us through the maze of permits and contracts necessary to have a working solar system. They obtained electrical and construction permits. They assisted us in applying to Indianapolis Power and Light for permission to hook into the IPL grid and in the contract with IPL for net metering necessary for feeding electricity back to the grid. They also gave us advice on selling the Renewable Energy Certificates that we are entitled to by generating solar power. Our solar array can be monitored through the internet. After the installation was complete Rectify came to the house and set up our account (which is more complicated than it sounds). The bottom line is we are very pleased with the system that Rectify installed but are extremely impressed with the customer service they gave us through the whole process. They are also very nice people. It was just a pleasure to deal with them.
