I was extremely pleased with David Mills and his company. He provided a very professional quote which had a lot of detail about what he was going to do. I feel David provides a quote based on doing a quality job as opposed to trying to give you as low a price as possible. He met with me to go over the quote and explain the project. I had 5 quotes and his was not the lowest price, but I felt his was the best value for each dollar I was spending and his quote was competitive. The crew that removed the old siding and installed the new did an excellent job. There were only a couple of very minor issues which were corrected immediately. The gutter crew also did an excellent job and there were no issues with that installation. The paint crew also did an excellent job, although there were a few more issues with the paint job that required several call-backs. However, David was very good about having the painters correct the things I asked for. The thing I think I was most impressed with was the fact that David did not consider the job finished until I was 100% happy with the result. Also, David and his crews were always on time and responsive. During the whole process they also kept the property cleaned up and didn't leave debris just laying around.

We are extremely pleased with the work of Re-side. David Mills has first rate siding and painting crews. Both crews were exceptionally hard working, very careful of our property and always cleaned up at the end of the day. They were very polite and friendly, too. David Mills came to the job site most, if not all, days, sometimes more than once to check on the progress and make sure things were going well. Re-side did a great job. Our house looks great. It's dry and quieter too with the fiber cement siding. There was a manufacturing defect in one of the boards that was not obvious until after installation and painting. David Mills replaced the board with a new piece and repainted the board within a few days of noticing the defect. Some of our poor quality screens were damaged during installation. David's crew replaced the screens that were damaged, plus other ones that, frankly, were probably damaged well before the work. It is a tribute to David's professionalism that he would rather err on the side of replacing an extra screen than have an unhappy customer. We found David Mills to be very honest, knowledgeable and professional. We would certainly recommend that anyone who needs their siding replaced, consider hiring Re-side with David Mills.

Everything was 27 years old so I knew it all needed replacing. David provided a thorough inspection and submitted a detailed proposal. I had several estimates done from some of the top Angie's List siding providers so once I got everything in an apples to apples comparison, I felt most comfortable with David's price, choice of materials, and professional presentation. First out came the windows. I was more than happy with the product except a couple screens didn't seem to fit and David told me he would get them replaced, no problem. Next off came the siding. The second story sleeping quarters and back of the garage were the only areas that had the old cedar siding. Woodpeckers had done a number on one side and six different sets of nests found homes in the holes. Once the old siding was removed, house wrap was installed before the new cement siding. The installers did a pretty good job sealing all the joints and the primed version looked really good. Finally the entire house was painted. I was amazed at how well that came out. They did an outstanding job and reiterated to me to make sure and contact David if I found anything that I was not happy with. David kept me posted throughout the process and all his crews worked well. I have been extremely happy with the process and I highly recommend contacting Re-Side for any of the above mentioned work.

David Mills seems very knowledgeable about his work, but seemed to be overextended. He performed the estimate quickly and showed up for the estimate on time, but he did not get back to us at all. He failed to email us information he promised, and never even called back to see which company we decided to go with. We did decide to go with another company.

We contacted David the week we bought this house. It was October, and I had to return to Asia to pack our apartment for the move. He was able to schedule the messy stuff (tear off and installation) while I was gone (per my request). The difference in sound-proofing and looks is night and day. The new doors work great. We decided the windows and garage door would have to wait till next year, but David helped us patch and paint them so they look acceptable for now. We just finished the last touch-up of the paint yesterday. This house desperately needed a face-lift and the results are fabulous!

Overall we are extremely happy. From start to finish David Mills kept us posted every step of the way. We would certainly recommend David and his services as we will be using him again.

We were so fortunate to find Dave Mills. After a hailstorm, we needed new siding, gutters, roof, shutters, windows, and paint. Narrowing down our choices of dozens of contractors and estimates, David continued to stand out as the obvious choice. Patient with questions and responsive to our ever-changing requests, David takes pride in his work and his company. His knowledge well surpassed the others making us confident in our choice. The Re-Side crews did an amazing job! They were skilled craftsmen with an incredible work ethic. Every detail was important and they even fixed the mistakes made by other contractors. The fiber cement is a HUGE improvement to our 1938 home and the paint job was immaculate. It s hard to find a company that takes as much pride in your home as you do. The before-and-after pictures really speak for themselves months later, we STILL have strangers pull over to tell us how wonderful the house looks!

Absolutely fantastic! We will definitely use David again in other siding projects. He is very professional, very knowledgeable and was extremely meticulous with the details and explaining to us exactly what was going to be done to the house. We felt completely confident that David knew exactly how to resolve this issue. His workmen got down to the job at hand very efficiently and did a superb job. We highly recommend this company and will definitely tell all our friends about the experience.

The only problem I had was that he also painted. I was disappointed because he know I wanted to replace everything as is. I feel he kind of lost track of the job a little bit and didn't really match the colors quite right. I would use him again but probably not for the painting.

I would recommend him and use him again! We had one small issue with the paint not adhering to some new windows. He redid everything and said he wouldn't be done until I was satisfied! That turned out to be 100% accurate! Everything was positive with him.

The price included trim work. I was very satisfied with everything, and I used him again for painting, and very happy with the job there, as well. The price for both jobs was considerably less than other offers.

Due to my trip away from home, a friend contacted and spoke to Mr. Mills on my behalf. In his words, this is what occurred: "I called and spoke directly with him last Wednesday (08-22). He asked me if he could come out to see me on Friday (08-24) at 1:30 pm. I checked the calendar. That was fine. We agreed on that time and date, even mentioning them. I was here in plenty of time. The phone was not tied up. No Voice Messages were left at my house or at TAK's (the house needing work done) house. Both phone numbers and the address were given to David Mills. I absolutely refuse to call him and ask what happened? My time was used up. I could have been sealing the great room floor with the shellac sealer on Friday, but no, I was kept waiting and wasting my time. You don't stop when applying shellac because someone shows up later and wants to talk with you. I can't deal with people who show a lack of courtesy and consideration for others.

We contacted David with regard to obtaining an estimate for replacing failing composition siding with fiber cement. David came to our home and took photos and then met with us later to review everything that he would do as well as educated us on the cement siding manufacturing and installation process. The job was scheduled for July. Everything went very well from start to finish. David's installation and painting crews were very professional, and everything was cleaned up at the end of each day. David suggested we install attic vents on each end of our home for better ventilation, and he took care of that during the installation process. David was visible throughout the installation and painting process. Our home looks really nice with the new siding, and I feel this was a very well done job.

Overall experience was good. I would recommend them and definitely rehire them again with the same crew.

I met David while he was employed by another company. After his departure, it made sense to follow the relationship. He had recently finished several homes in my neighborhood that looked great. David educated me about the whole process and provided me with a very detailed proposal with photos showing exactly what they were going to do. He is the person that actually recommended that I insulate my home and informed me of the opportunity for tax credits. Not only does my house look better, but it is much warmer in the winter and cooler in the warmer weather. David and Re-side's pricing was fair and reasonable. The overall experience went very smoothly. David was on-site every day and always available by phone. His crew was polite, knowledgeable and thorough. I trusted David the moment we met and have recommended him to several of my friends and neighbors. He has been in the business a long time and every homeowner should consider Re-side to re-side their home.

The new siding on the back of the house looks great. It really transformed the look of the back of the house into something beautiful. The workers were efficient and the workmanship was excellent. The painters were very helpful. They observed that one of the window sills needed replacing and instead of just painting over the problem, they brought it to our attention. The painters were also efficient and neat. The owner of Re-side, David Mills, personally helped with fixing and replacing the window sill. David was very professional and easy to work with. He came up with a plan to improve the look of our house at a reasonable cost.

Excellent - I expect nothing different from his new company as that type of tone work is set by those that run it. I am a finance guy so price is never perfect.

I am in commercial construction with a strong background in residential since childhood. I am very particular about who I enter into contracts with for work on properties that I own. David was very knowledgeable and provided a thorough proposal with photos describing the work to be performed. His crews actually showed up when he said they would (construction miracle) were polite and very efficient. Pricing was fair with the market for the work they performed. Painless project and will refer him and use him again.

I went to the Home Show looking for companies that install fiber cement siding. I found 3 companies that I thought were good. All 3 came out and looked at my building. The first company spent about 10 minutes walking around the building and gave me an estimate for $14,000 with paint. The second company's salesman didn't really know what he was talking about. I felt like I knew more than he did. Mr. Mills came and asked me questions about my building and business before he looked at the building. He spent about 30 minutes taking pictures and measurements out in the cold. I was surprised when he recommended that I paint the cedar instead of replacing it. He said that I had 5-10 more years before I needed to call him.
