Randy King

Randy was great, and fixed both issues we hired him for. We sent him a Message on Angie's List, and he replied very quickly. He was responsive by phone, as well. He was clear with his pricing, which was a very fair price. He was at our house for maybe 20 minutes; he was very efficient. We were delighted twice: Randy brought shoe protectors and had dog treats. (which he gave to our dog!). Randy was very nice and professional. We will use him again for sure.

Ran into a complication. He did significant research to find a solution and did not charge me for the time and extra effort.

Randy removed the built-ins fairly quickly and without damage to the wall or flooring which was a big task. He was flexible and practical with his recommendations and even fixed a few extra things in the house while he was at it. His prices are reasonable and I was pretty happy to get an even better result than anticipated. I'll be calling Randy again for other projects!

It wasn't a huge job, but required skills and tools that I don't have. The remaining part of the cabinets had to remain structurally strong.

Is very punctual. Gives you an honest opinion. Won't tackle if doesn't seem the right approach. Tries to find the economical fix for the problem.

Randy showed up as promised and was thorough in his work. He stayed for several hours and scheduled time to return and finish. All of the jobs that we have asked Randy to help us with have been completed on time and with skill.

I called Randy and left a voicemail on a Thursday around noon and he promptly returned my call. He was even out to give me an estimate on the work needed later that afternoon. He was very honest about his capabilities and suggested finding a good roofer on Angies List. Once the roof issue was fixed, Randy came back out to grind the rusting metal door frame, caulk and seal to keep any additional water out. He also found some cracks in the brick mortar and filled those as well. He scraped a water damaged ceiling and determined that it did not need new drywall (drywall was still in good shape, just a little damp), but just suggested to point a fan at the ceiling to dry it really good and then retexture the ceiling. I appreciated his expertise in helping to fix problems that really needed fixed, but also being honest about some things that had more simple fixes (saving us money). I have several more projects that I will be hiring Randy again in the near future to complete. Very happy to have found a reliable handyman. Even my two year old son thought Randy was great, and got out his play tools to pretend that he was fixing things around the house as well.

I called Randy on a Thursday evening and he said he would be able to get to it the following day. I found this quite amazing. He showed up right on time, was very knowledgeable and friendly. I definitely plan on using Randy in the future for various things. Again, I was highly impressed and would not hesitate in recommending Randy King to others.

Prior times when I contacted a handyman, it was always I can get to you in a couple of weeks or months when I finish these other jobs. Not so with Randy. He immediately came out to evaluate the job and offered me several options. We selected a course of action and I asked him to do the job. Shortly there after he called me and said he could be out the next day. He arrived and had the job done in a little less than an hour. I now can get into the shed with no problems.

Randy showed up exactly on time. He knew what to do with every problem he encountered. He didn't charge me for materials (i.e., boards, nails, screws, & caulk). These were materials he had left over from previous projects he has done. He charged me a very reasonable amount for two and 3/4 hours of work. He saved me hours of time because he knows what he is doing! His quality is excellent. My garage door now has a perfect, total seal.

He had to try all sorts of things and it worked out very well. He cleaned up very well afterwards too. He should be commended as a handyman.

He came to complete the job earlier then expected. He gave me an estimate and did the job imminently. He was he was efficient,profession and punctual I was highly satisfied with the work.

He came over today, and he fixed me right up. He removed my old tv, installed the new one, and even programmed my remote.

Randy was great. I originally contacted him through Angie's List to build custom shelving for my basement storage area. He recommended an approach that saved a lot of money and time. Very grateful for his opnion and service, and would definitely use him again for household projects.

I'm never good at posting these things promptly, so I forget the details, but Randy was right on top of stuff, did it swiftly and competently, saved us money at every opportunity, and was patient when we were indecisive about aesthetic choices. When there was plumbing job he didn't feel he had the expertise for, he said so honestly. Is a smart man and a good communicator.

Randy was thrifty and responsive. Usually for a contractor, he was honest about what could not do, and his work was all quite satisfactory. He did not balk at small jobs (the work came in bits and pieces over several weeks) I would recommend him to anyone in the Indianapolis area.

I was hoping the fan and light had quit working due to a loose wire and that it would be an easy fix. Not so. Randy noticed that the existing fan was not propertly installed and since it was over 10 years old it was a good idea just to replace the fan. Randy was prompt and considerate and I thought the price was very reasonable.

Called about problem, appointment made, he was on time did work in timely fashion cleaned up after the job was completed. Problem corrected. Pleasant person, does good job, friendly and reasonable.
