Randy was very quick to respond and knew the most cost effective way to replace rather than repair a broken mailbox and post. He installed the box and post in a very professional manner. He took time to answer a couple of other questions I had about other household maintenance. I would recommend him highly, and I would call him again for another job.

Did a fine job, and came when he said he would. He called back because he thought he was being lax in getting back with me.

The guys got the couch in the room without removing the door frame, which was the original plan and put the bed frame together very easily. They cleaned up after themselves and even added a few extra touches without being asked.

Randy was very responsive - called me back the same day and scheduled to start work within a week. I had a variety of small jobs so he quoted me an hourly rate. He was cost conscious with the suggestions he made, was clear about what he could and could not do, and finished jobs quickly. I have some other repairs that I will be taking care of soon and I plan to use Randy again.

Randy responded promptly and professionally, did everything he could to fit us in his schedule quickly, and performed well. I had bought an IKE stainless steel range hood in Chicago to replace my original (19 years old ouch!). I got nervous trying to do it myself, so promptly consulted the List and found this guy. His hourly charge seemed quite reasonable and said his minimum was $60, once he mounted my hood. Was there anything else I could keep him busy with? Impressed that he didn't just hit and run, and that he wanted to give me the best bang for his minimum charge. While here, he fixed a nagging counter top, whose miter joint had been making opening the dishwasher very difficult. Wow! Shows to go ya, that Angie's List has the best craftsmen in town.

I initially called and left a message for an appointment over the weekend. He called the following Monday evening to set the appointment. While describing the work, I asked for advice on where to purchase the things we were to have installed and he was knowledgeable and helpful. On the afternoon of the appointment, he called and told us that he would actually be early if we were available! We had a short list of things for him to do and my wife, who was home with the kids, felt very comfortable. He was a nice guy. He carefully installed the ceiling fan and spent some time balancing it. It works great. The dresser was missing some parts and he outlined what was needed in the manual. All together, he was here for close to 4 hours, maybe more. Once the parts arrive, we will call him back to finish the job and I am thinking of other things he can do around the house.

I highly recommend him for any project.

Randy returned my call promptly and set up an appointment for two days later. He was running a little late from an earlier job, but called to inform me of the situation. He explained what he needed to do and was quick and efficient. He cleaned up after he finished the job and provided a detailed invoice to provide our buyer. I would refer him to a friend & use his services again.

Mr. King responded to our phone call very quickly. He came out the following day to look at the situation and agreed to return in one week to do the job. One week later he came and started the work. After letting the cement harden, he returned the following day and finished the job. We felt that his price was very reasonable.

Randy went over budget and was late on completion. Lighting fixtures were installed crookedly. Drywall work was poorly done.Painting was not finished or cleaned up. He talked me into using an expensive treatment for the basement ceiling he had never used before and then requested more time and money to install it. By the end of the job I just wanted to pay him to get him out of my house, whether the work was done well or not. This was too big of a project for him. He also complained to other workers in the house about the work he was being paid by me to do.

I was perfectly satisfied with the price and the work done. He was not able to replace a shut off valve, because he did not have the proper tools, so he recommended I call a plumber.

They did fantastic work and it looks like it was there all along. Randy is as meticulous with his workspace as he is with his work. I give them an A+.
