Randy King

I am still in process of collecting bids and designing exactly what I want, and am heavily leaning toward hiring Randy. He was very honest to the point of telling me how to save money on what I want.

He is very good, I think he is very reasonable, I would recommend him in a heart beat, he is very professional and very personable, he is very reliable.

He had a friend assist him w/ the exterior lighting and painting. The job went very well. As always he did a wonderful job in finding the best and most cost-effective solutions to the tasks at hand. Couldn't be happier!

Randy responded the very same day to diagnose my problem, give me a price, and schedule to come back a few days later to perform service. Excellent.

This guy is excellent. I highly recommend him. He is very fair and charges $40 an hour plus material, and leaves you with the receipts. He keeps his time goals and even would do work at home to bring to the job. He should be considered on top of the list.

He did a phenomenal job! He was courteous and cordial. He answered all my questions. I will definitely use him again. His prices were very reasonable.

Randy answered an email promptly and came over to my house within a few days to check out the new fans. He looked over the fans with me and we discussed how the remotes would work, etc. He stated he could get these fans installed but needed a taller step ladder and assistance. He arranged to have Scott Sanders assist him and we set a date for installation. He and Scott came right on time and began working on the project. They got the fans installed and everything looks and works great. This was a difficult install and took a while to finish. I was told earlier by an electrician that I would not be able to have the remotes installed in these fans because of the size of the receivers. Randy and Scott were very nice to work with and a pleasure to have in my home. Scott Sanders runs a painting company and helps Randy on occasion. I would not hesitate to have either one of them again for any future work they could do for me.

He arrived on time to do the work. I would use him in the future. He was courteous and kind. He was professional while he worked. The quality of his work was good. I would recommend him.

Randy arrived on time and ready to work. The bedroom door was already installed but the work was never finished and there was a terrible gap between the door frame and the plaster around the frame. Randy put new molding around the door and installed the threshold piece on the floor. It looks beautiful. I thought the wood on the barn would need replacing, but he filled it in with Bondo and it will just need to be painted later. He offered to do it, but I'm hoping to get my son-in-law to do it. I am so thrilled to find this guy. I've put off these two jobs for a long time because there are so many people out there that don't know what they're doing. I highly recommend him. Experiences like this make my Angie's List membership so worth the yearly fee.

He was prompt and courteous. His price was very fair and reasonable, I just don't remember exactly what it was. I will use him again.

Randy came out to evaluate the job and was able to remove the cabinet right then. He took the cabinet to his workshop where he completed the work over a weekend and returned to reinstall it the next week. He is a perfectionist and it looks great! We are so happy with the results.

The job was more involved than originally thought, but he along with his electrician, Dave, were wonderful at problem solving. It took them longer than planned, but they stood by their original quote and didn't charge extra. We've used Randy in the past and he is great at finding cost-effective solutions to your household jobs. He is very good at thinking through a task and gets the job done right on the first try!

When I called, Randy answered the phone, and came by to look at the situation soon after our phone conversation. He wanted to see what would be involved. We agreed on a day and time for him to do the job, which was a few days later. He tells it like it is, as he sees it, which I appreciate. When he came to do the work, he went straight to it, and soon found he needed some assistance. His friend came soon after he called him, and the work seemed to go very smoothly. Randy charges by the hour (gave me the senior discount when I mentioned that it is in his write-up), and can do other household projects. He remounted my phone's wall plate after it had been loosened for wall-papering. Nice person, good work!

We called Randy once the media cabinet was in. He installed it and then reconnected all of our media stuff and he made sure everything worked as well before leaving. He was neat and easy to work with. There was an additional job my husbanded wanted done. Unfortunately Randy wasn't able to do it but did recommend someone to us who could. This customer was very pleased.

He did a good job. It took a little longer than estimated but he was very friendly and got the job done. I don't remember the exact cost, but it was $100 or less.

He was fun to work with and a real nice guy.

Randy did a great job and was very easy to have around the house. He took his time to figure out how to do a job; didn't get impatient or give up.

He is very creative, funny, nice, and great to work with. His prices are reasonable as well. I would hire him again in the future for more work.

The door was heavy, the mechanism tricky, but Randy kept at it -- and now the door is operable again.

Randy responded quickly to my request. He provided estimates of his labor so there were no surprises. What I really appreciated was that Randy suggested options that would be most economical; however, he wanted me to be pleased with the final product. He is very pleasant and flexible, even when I changed my mind a few times. Everything he did was high quality.

Randy arrived promptly, was very pleasant and eager for my input in the placement of the pictures. He was very conscientious and did a great job overall.

We were very pleased with the results; we had tried to install the window box, but had run into problems. Randy was able to come as soon as I called, due to another job having fallen through. He assessed the situation, thought about pros and cons (installation into Bedford stone presented some challenges), drove to the hardware store and purchased the correct items and had the job finished in short order.
