He didn't fix the problem and it was disappointing. It cost a lot of money and the problem wasn't fixed. He removed the toilet from the ground and looked but just didn't find anything, so I don't know if it was necessarily his fault. He was courteous. I would not use him in the future.

Great! I called in the morning because we had standing water in my basement. They came out 1 hour after i placed my call. The woman who took my call was very nice and the men that came out were professional. I asked them to please take off their shoes when they went in and out of my house becuase I had just got new carpet. They were happy to do so.

I was available when they came to the house and I dealt with them. They really very pleasant and did not take too long to respond and came them they said they would. They were very professional. There were two women and handling the equipment stuff, she had someone she was training. She was very helpful, informative and good. I felt that their pricing was fair.

They were great. They came out real quick and showed me I didn?t have a problem. I would rate them highly and would use them in the future if necessary.

We first had Mr. Rooter out to clean the sewer line. We paid them $ 257.59,two weeks later we called again.the sewer backed up into our bathroom. Mr Rooter returned and cleaned the sewer line again (no charge). A few days later,a Mr.Migual Ayala, the field advisor came to the house with his sewer line camera and told us the line was broken in several places in our front yard. NOT TRUE..His price for the job was $ 5000.00 but he gave us a break and said he would only charge us $4500.00 I believe this company should be put out of business/scams and thieves. Thanks to Angies List,we saved about $3000.00 I wonder if we have any recourse to part of the mony we paid Mr. Rooter. We paid with a credit card. Patrick J. Kelly

They did the job very reasonably and quickly. I was pleased with the results. I thought they did a good job. They cleaned up afterward. My husband was here when they came out. The drain works the way it was supposed to. I was pleased that they didn't have to dig up any pipes or anything.

Everything was wonderful. They were on time and clean. They were very professional, and they gave me the price that they said they would charge, which was very reasonable. They came at my convenience and theirs, and I couldn't be happier with their work.

This team was recommended to me by the plumber I called who said he didn't do drains--I like those kind of referrals. It was a pleasant surprise to have a woman and her son as the crew. They were courteous, professional, hard working, quick, efficient and a very welcome change. They are now my go-to drain people.

My 1930's era rental home had a clogged sewer line, and I have heard nightmare stories about thousands of dollars spent on digging up and replacing these lines. Luckily, R+S was able to come out and get the line open with just a couple hours of work. I was able to get the house rented out and have not had any further issues.

Great- Came to our house quickly, on a Sunday no less. Got the job done and left.

The representative was able to come the same day I called. She explained what she thought she could and couldn't do before she started working. She was able to improve the flow but recommended contacting my plumber to repair a drum drain. She was careful and wanted to make sure she improved the flow as much as possible while being careful with the old pipes. She recommended some follow-up maintenance that I could do that would help and would be safe for the pipes.

I had my sewer line cleaned by another company 3 years ago and the other company badly damaged the clay pipe. Because of this, we were concerned about use of a large root cutter. Tammy from R&S used a small root cutter and carefully removed tree roots and debris without causing any further damage. She was highly skilled and knowledgeable and recommended more frequent cleanings to prevent roots from growing larger and causing additional damage. She also suggested a contractor to quote repair of the cleanout that was damaged by the other company. I will definitely use this company again!

Called 5pm 1-2-09. I was quoted a "likely" price of $125. They said they'd be here 1-3-09 before 1pm. I agreed to that schedule. They called when on the way ( as agreed), and about 20 minutes later arrived at 11:30. They immediately got to work, and fixed my issue quickly and efficiently. They were friendly and polite, and the final price was... $125.00 !!! There was no "up-sell" effort at all. They also unclogged the toilet downstairs.

Got a referral from a plumber on Angie's List. Talked with them the night before, real honest over the phone with the problem. They came out the next morning and were very efficient and courteous. Will never hesitate to contact them again!

We had major sewer cleaning company out that told us that we were going to need $1,000.00 in repairs to the basement. She came in and was able to fix the problem for $125.00. Since then I have used her more than once.

We had the problem on a Sunday. We called and they called back and gave us a time on Monday before noon. They came and cleaned the line and we have had no problems. They quoted a price on the Sunday call and that was the final price. Just excellent.

They were very efficient, polite and they got the job done very quickly. I can't say anything bad about this company.

They showed up quicker than I ever could have imagined. I was about ten minutes away. By the time I left the office and returned, they were chilling out and had found three spots where the line was plugged about 75 feet out and reported that the drain took water quickly now.

I called and they were able to come out the same day. They were supposed to call before they came and did not but once they got there they were very professional and did a great job. They also patiently answered all of my questions about the process.

On July 26th, first the garbage disposal water was backing up into the sink. Thought this was a reset button fix until I went into the laundry room and found water on the floor. Initially thought just a coincidence and checked the inside to make sure it was level. When I reran the washing machine, suds were feeding up wards from the pipe/drain instead of going down. I called another company who cleared the garbage disposal drain, but apologized that the line did not go long enough to solve the washing machine problem. They recommended R & S Sewer Cleaning. Called R & S and they stated up front that for this job they had a flat rate so I would not be shocked after their work, when I got the bill. R & S came out the same day and were earlier than their projected arrival time. They stated the problem was probably just over 30 years of accumulation in the pipes. Hope it is another 30 years before I need drain cleaning, but would use them again.

They were prompt and professional and cleaned out the line several times. They were able to determine that the problem was not a blockage in the line, but that the line was probably undersized for the volume of water coming through. They gave us some suggestions for how to deal with the problem.

Called company in the morning and they arrived that afternoon with their equipment. Very happy with the price. Worked despite the threat of adverse weather (thunderstorms). Finished the job within an hour. Have not had problem with my drains or sewers since (6 weeks later). A little disappointed that they didn't recommend methods on keeping drain open.

This is the second time I have used this company. They are quick to respond and scheduled service within hours. Very knowledgeable and willing to explain issues to customer.
