My wife and I recently had a baby and with all the rain, I didn't have time to mow the lawn. It got long enough that I didn't think my push mower could handle it. I called QuickCutt and the gentleman came out the same evening and did a fantastic job. He went over the lawn twice and spend a lot of time leaf-blowing the entire lawn to make sure there were no clumps of grass lying around. It was evident he cared about doing the job well, not just getting it done. I would definitely recommend QuickCutt.

We're going on our third year and are well pleased with his service! His price is fair and his service rotation is punctual!

Very disappointing that you can not get someone to even return a phone call or respond to your voicemail after they ask you to call them. I am not one to want to ever write bad reviews for anyone, but I know that I am the type of person that I read reviews on companies before I contact them. You would think companies would respond better

We have a fairly large yard with a lot of shrubs and beds. Mr. Montgomery was prompt to respond, quick to come out and did a very thorough job. He was friendly and professional. I will call him again.

Theron returned my initial message right away and made it to the house the same day I contacted him even though it was a busy day for him, which I really appreciate. The driveway and sidewalks look terrific! I will not hesitate to use Theron and the Quick Cutt team in the future. My only "C" grade was for price because this same service costs us $40 the two prior winters and I paid Quick Cutt $65.

The gentleman I spoke with was working a job but he took my information and said that he would call me back after he completed the job. He never called back. I called the company back and left a voicemail. They never called back. That was at 9:54 this morning. It is now 7:47 in the evening. Not very professional. Will probably never contact them again for any services.

Mr Montgomery did an excellent job removing last night's snow from my driveway and all sidewalks. He also rearranged his schedule to accommodate my need to have the driveway by a specific time. I like how he gives his customers choices of snow depths that will trigger his efforts (he'll come out after a 2 inch snow, 3 inch or 4 or more - I have him coming out when snow depth is 3 or more).

Excellent job clearing everything. He even cleared snow off my deck, which wasn't even included in the quote. Very punctual and professional.

Always does a great job. They handle my lawn service all yr.

It went very well. It was almost $1600 for two trees. It was very good. They were concerned about it. They showed me where the trees had rotted. They talked to me about it. I just think they did a good job. They called before they were coming.

If I could give Quik Cutt a grade higher than an A I would. A++++++. I bought a home and the yard hadn't been tended to in 4 months. I called Quik Cutt and they completely took care of the lawn that same day for a reasonable price.The difference is incredible. I am going to be using them from now on for all of my yard needs. Also very professional as well and easy to get ahold of. This was the best experience with a yard service I have ever had.

It was difficult to communicate with him but we got the agreement done. But during the first mowing the mower guy said his trimmer broke and he would have to come back later to fix it. He never did return. The second mowing was very poor quality - the grass was of varying length and there were small spots all over the place that looked like they were missed. (It appeared to us that the blade was not sharp.) And the mower left before my parents could view his work. So we had what we consider 2 incomplete jobs completed. Throughout our work with Quik Cutt, it was very difficult to contact them, particularly after we agreed on the work to be done. I would leave voice mails on their phone numbers but would almost never get a call back. We never knew if or when they were going to come mow the lawn - they just showed up. The only time communication was ever good was when I informed them (through Angie's List) that we were not going to work with them anymore - then they got back to me right away making excuses, and eventually demanding fully payment for 2 mows. I thought he was joking, but agreed to pay for 1 mow since they did come out to do some work. I was then threatened with late fees if I didn't pay immediately, even though we never received any invoice from them. To his credit, Theron did ask what the quality problem with the second mow was - I think he did want to try to understand the problem and improve his service. This was a terrible experience and embarrassing for me, who was trying to purchase a gift for my parents. It was a hassle for my parents to deal with too, as they had to find someone else to mow their lawn on short notice. It looks like most of this company's work is good but I still thought it important to let this group know how poor my experience was.

Leaf cleanup was good, but I dont think they cleaned the gutters properly. They apparently blew some leaves out of the gutter, but that isnt what i consider cleaning. Cleaning means getting ALL the accumulated debris removed.

I contacted Mr. Montgomery in late May for weekly mowing and trimming. His response was quick and friendly. He has since mowed my lawn three times. I am very happy with his service. The yard looks so nice when he is finished. I believe he is very honest and trustworthy and would gladly recommend Quik Cutt Landscaping.

We are trying to sell our rental property and had a regular company cutting it's grass every week for the past few months. The other company decided to stop cutting it I guess or forgot about it for weeks and we didn't even know about it until we happenned to make a trip by their and saw how bad it looked. We immediately went to Angie's List and found Quik Cutts and he came out the next day and took care of the problem. The yard looks great again and they are cutting it regularly until we sell it. Thanks again.

Theron was great to work with...we needed mulch installed for some house showings and came, got the work done all when he said he would. Looked great, too!! Will use him again.

Quick Cutt came out as soon as the weather allowed, and got my lawn taken care of much faster than I anticipated! This was my first experience with Quik Cutt, and I'm convinced that Mr Montgomery runs an extremely honest company, that performs outstanding work.

I called Friday. He returned my call. But, he didn't leave a message. I called early Saturday morning apprx 8:30am. Although it says he works Saturdays, he mentioned he wasn't planning to work. I respect that. After he asked if i was reaching out to other contractors, I replied yes. He said he would definately cut it that day around 3pm. He said he would call in advance for my address. We agreed if there was any changes to contact each other. At 2pm, I called him to check the status . His phone rang for a while. Therefore, I didn't leave a message. I called another Angie's list provider. He did an excellent job! Unfortunately, Theron didn't call until 3:30. When he left a message, he stated he's returning my call. He didn't mention anything about our appt. I didn't return his last call. For me, he wasn't dependable and reliable. I'm not mad. We just take the good with bad.

I wasn't gone long, didn't even get everything on my list, and was home way before 6:00. He never called or showed up (none of the neighbors saw him while I was gone either). He got my hopes up, I rearranged my schedule to accommodate his schedule and nothing. If he wasn't able to do the work that day, he should have at least called to reschedule or let me know that he wasn't interested so that I could have made arrangements with someone else. I almost didn't call him because of the negative review from 04/29/14, but decided to give him the benefit of the doubt. My mistake since he was a no-call, no-show for me as well. I ended up hiring someone who was cutting grass down the street for his mother-in-law today.

My husband contacted Quick Cutt in mid-March for an estimate to remove leaves from our front and back yards. He never came or called back to let us know that he wouldn't be able to provide the estimate. I called again in early April, not knowing my husband had already contacted him, but he recognized my last name and home address. He apologized profusely for not getting back with my husband. I asked him to come over and give and estimate for the same services. It took over a week for the estimate, and when we received it, it was for the front yard only, because he thought there weren't that many leaves in the back (mostly because my husband began collecting some on his own). The estimated price for the front lawn seemed reasonable, but we wanted both to be completed. My husband contacted him again on April 23rd, asking him to come back out and finish the estimate for the back yard. He explained that he would be out before Saturday because there were several other customers in line for an estimate before us. Saturday came and went, and no estimate. My husband completed both front and back yard on his own over the weekend. We are very unhappy with the lack of follow through and responsiveness of Quick Cutt and will not be contacting them in the future. Although the price was right, apparently the company doesn't want to make money, because they basically refused ours by not contacting us back.

We called Theron to remove leaves on short notice as our regular person wasn't available. He let us know that he had some regular customers that would have to come first but he did come and give us a quote. He thought that he would be able to complete the work within a few days. Unfortunately it took him longer than expected to get back to us. We had to call several times to get him to come back. He did come by late on a Friday after we called him again and did as much as he could. He returned the following Monday and completed the work.

Emailed via Angie's List requesting a quote. They were able to come out and look at my property and give me a quote within two days. They indicated that they would be out when the weather permitted. Once the rain subsided and the leaves dried out, they came out and removed the leaves. My neighbor came home and asked them to remove his leaves as well. They were still finishing up my neighbor's leaves when I got home. They did an excellent job getting the leaves off of my property, including out of the bushes and those types of difficult areas. My property is about half an acre with a lot of mature trees, and with the early onset of winter, we hadn't had a chance to get all the leaves up before all of the snow. The owner, Theron, and his crew were all very friendly and easy to work with. My neighbor actually asked them to cut his grass on a permanent basis.

Mr. Montgomery was very professional and fit me into his schedule today on very short notice. I will definitely utilize him in the future, and recommend him for snow removal services based on service, quality and cost.
