Description of Work: Put llumar 35% LTV ceramic tint on all windows and panoramic roof and AIR80 on windshield of my wife's new car. Though there are darker shades of tint available, I went with the max legal darkness factor, and I think it is enough. Dave and Louis did the whole job in 90 minutes or so. They seemed very experienced and professional. Dave had cheaper tint options available from Llumar, but I was looking for the maximum heat rejection factor and ceramic seemed to be best option for heat. I shopped three of the top-rated shops on the list and two of them were exactly the same price so I went with Dave because he had an appointment and was closer to my house. One of them was significantly more expensive for some reason. I have not found any bubbles or defects and I am confident from my research that Llumar is a quality film. Would recommend Dave and Pro-Tint. He also gave me a Angie's members discount - be sure to ask for it.

Description of Work: We decided to hire someone to tint our Nissan's windows in effort to protect our skin from harmful UV rays. We searched Angie's List to find some people to call and found a couple. The owner of Pro-Tint was very responsive & quoted me a good price. I researched the product he uses which is satisfactory. I'd recommend doing a bit of homework on the type of tinting you use prior to doing this-there are varying qualities of product out there, so be sure you know what you are buying. He also was able to fit my car car in same-day, so we went with him and his tinting product. It appears he did a very professional job, no short-cuts were made (tinting all the way to the top of the windows and removed the inside brake light to have a seamless one piece tint on the back windshield). He told me that there maybe some tiny bubbles day 1 and day 2 and that they would disappear quickly & the bubbles appear to be all gone (this is the 1st Monday following the tint job). All in all, we are satisfied & recommend this company.

 + -1 moreMy appointment was scheduled within a week of my call to the company. Service to my vehicle was started promptly at the scheduled appointment time. The staff were friendly and courteous, and they took the time to explain the different window tints available and made suggestions based on my needs. The price of the service was comparable with another facility I obtained a quote from. The one negative issue with my experience was that I was not provided with a receipt upon completion of the work, even after asking for one. The staff person stated that if I had an issue to call or stop by and that he would remember working on my vehicle. I've had no issues with the work to this point so I've not had need of a receipt, but who knows for the future. I was informed that the window tint I purchased has a lifetime warranty, so a couple of years from now if I have an issue I'm not sure if the staff will remember working on my vehicle and without a receipt I may be in a tough spot.
Description of Work: Window tinting applied to seven windows on my 2006 Subaru Forester. Estimated time for work completion was 1 hour. From the time I pulled in until the time I left was 40 minutes--very nice.

 + -1 moreI called Dave and he gave me an estimate over the phone. The next day I called him and he told me he could fit me in and would call me when the spot opened up. I went to his shop and he explained which tint he would go with for the skylight and why. He also saw my Element's driver and passenger door windows were not tinted and suggested those get tinted to match the rest of the windows which were at 20%. The job took 20 minutes total for the skylight and two front windows. Dave was very nice and easy to work with. He explained to me what to expect over the next several days as the film cured. I was very pleased with the result!
Description of Work: Wanted the skylight in my Element tinted as it was allowing huge amounts of direct sunlight on my son's face while seated in his rear-facing infant car seat.

 + -1 moreBoth Dave and Jason were very responsive to my phone calls and it was very easy to set up appointments. Jason was particularly flexible and accommodating around scheduling the work. For both the tinting and the paint protection, Dave and Jason did meticulous work and explained everything in detail, including follow-up care requirements.
Description of Work: Dave Lemen tinted the windows on my 2007 BMW 335i coupe. The cost of the tinting was about $175, which seemed reasonable to me. Dave's brother, Jason, applied a paint protection bra over extensive areas of the car, which cost about $2,000. Although this may seem like a lot, I believe the price was competitive given the amount of work involved.

 + -1 moreWe called in the morning for a quote. His price was competitive (among the best we called) and we asked about an appointment. They got us in that afternoon. We were the last appointment of the day, and when we called to say we were running 30 minutes late, there was no problem. They told us it would take about an hour, and they were true to their word. It was ready in about 50 minutes. The job was very clean and professional. It is a joy to deal with such professionals!
Description of Work: All 4 side windows and rear windows were tinted on a 2007 Mercury Milan.

 + -1 moreTHEY CAME THE VERY NEXT DAY AFTER WE CALLED. OUR HOUSE FACES SOUTH, AND OUR FRONT DOOR IS BLACK AND GETS HOT, SO THE GLUE THAT HOLDS TRIM ON THE DOOR KEPT MELTING. WE HAD NO IDEA WHAT GREAT BENEFITS WE WOULD GET FROM HAVING THE TINT. HE CLEANED THE GLASS AND INSTALLED THE TINT IN ABOUT 45 MINUTES. IT IS SO NICE NOW, IT IS A FULL WINDOW, SO WHEN WE OPEN THE FRONT NO ONE CAN SEE IN OUR HOUSE. WE ARE GOING TO HAVE HIM COME BACK AND DO MORE WORK, WE WERE VERY PLEASED.
