PRITT ELECTRIC

The job required trenching the ground for the line. Used an awesome machine and were very careful to get the ground looking like almost normal. The crew was on time, the price was competitive, and very professional. Have used them for years and highly recommend them.

One person came out for the service. It took him about an hour. I graded them an A overall because the guy was nice and he fixed it. When he was done, he left the area fine. What stood out was that, they were easy to get a hold of and they had an appointment right away when I called.

Work was completed in the amount of time estimated, price was given before work commenced, they were able to provide the service on the day I called. A storm took out the IPL electricity pole and when IPL came to repair it the next day, we were told the outside pole and box on the house was damaged and had to be replaced before IPL could reconnect the electricity to the house. Pritt Electric was able to come to the house the next day and make all needed repairs so we could get electricity back to the house. The 2 electricians were very courteous, got the work done quickly and answered all our questions. Would definitely recommend them and use them again.

I was beyond thrilled. Electrician arrived on time, was well groomed-- clean!!, polite, covered shoes, kind to my dogs. Advised when he found problem and that he would need to leave to buy an odd sized fuse and then called to advise the price of fuse- I asked that he buy a spare. He made sure that all lights were off in the basement and worked quickly and efficiently. I would call them again and I hope that you will too.

While Drew the technician was late in arriving due to demands on personnel which occurred during the day, he really accomplished so much in two hours. He was concerned about how much mess he was creating but he was given a very challenging task of fitting a fan which I purchased because of its high reviews into the existing space. He encountered 50 year old deteroirated insulation as he tried to cut drywall and studs . He was very conscientious about cleanup after the job was completed.

I WILL NEVER EVER DO BUSINESS WITH PRITT ELECTRIC AGAIN. DO NOT WASTE YOU TIME OR MONEY WITH THIS PATHETIC COMPANY. They are extremely unprofessional, rude, lack professional tact, and have absolutely zero understanding of customer service. I received multiple estimates on a project I’m working on in my basement, and decided to give Pritt Electric a chance because they were used during the construct of my home. I attempted to make an appointment with the field person who conducted my estimate, but was directed to contact the office because they have full visibility to the calendar of appointments. I complied. I called the office on Wednesday 08/03/2016 and was offered a Friday appointment with an installer on a very tight schedule, but they assured me next Wednesday 08/10/2016 had wide availability. And the field representative I worked with would be assigned the job. Tuesday 08/09/2016 at 3:00pm, Pritt Electrical called me to cancel my appointment at the absolute very last minute. I call back to ask why, they said the field representative made an appointment in the field that conflicts with my scheduled appointment (made a week in advance) and I need to reschedule at a convenient time for them. Wait a minute. I thought field representatives aren’t allowed to make appointments in the field and all appointments must be scheduled with the front office? Not only did the office manager care less about honoring their commitment with me (that we agreed to a week ago), she (Dorinda, the owner’s girlfriend with zero business acumen) made no attempt to rectify the situation or accommodate me for my inconvenience. After 10 minutes of her disrespectful attitude and inability to offer a solution or connect me with an actual manager, I transferred her to the dial tone. Then her front desk person calls me 30 minutes later with their “best low voltage” electrician that can do the job. Out of options and other contractors that needed to adhere to the very strict time line on my project, I decide to give him a shot against my better judgement. He arrives 30 minutes late and with the owner’s daughter Jennifer. 2 hours into the job and several encountered problems later, he quits on the spot!! He also drives off and leaves Jennifer at my house without saying a word. She doesn’t tell me anything at all! The colleagues that she called to pick her up felt so bad, they finally explained what happened and apologized profusely! I’m expecting Jennifer to call the owner and make provisions to make everything right. Nope! Her only advice was to “call the office.” No contact information to a decision maker, no proactive attempts to resolve the situation, no apology, nothing. Thankfully, one of the gentlemen who arrived to retrieve her provided me the owner’s phone number. But to no avail. I called Gill Pritt (Owner of Pritt Electric 317-281-5910) and he proceeds to tell me it isn’t his fault, he had to fire 10 people, and he didn’t do this and what do I expect him to do. Unbelievable. Every time I tried to offer a suggestion, he talked over me and he played the victim the entire time on the phone. Then he began to use inappropriate language, insult me, and threaten to sue me. For what, patronizing your poor excuse of a business. DO NOT EVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY OR PERSON. Now I have to scramble to find a REPUTABLE company at the last minute.

We were so impressed with the work done. Pritt was willing to send an electrician out 2 separate days because some of the lights were backordered but we didn't want to wait for everything to come in before we did the project. The electricians were pleasant, polite, helpful, and did the work quickly and it looks beautiful and works great! They were prompt and the appointment was easy to make. We couldn't be more pleased and will ALWAYS call Pritt when we need electrical work done!

It went well, PRITT is more expensive than I would have liked but I was very happy with the results plus Joe was very likeable and trustworthy, they were also helpful in that they wired the place but waited for us to finish the drywall before they put the lights and outlets in. So they came back later to finish the job, they were also able to reuse alot of the wiring that was already in there from the previous, unprofessional job. They worked fairly fast which was nice and they left a few outlets around for us to use while we finished the drywall. I will use them again for another house but because they are more expensive than most I need to remove the lath/plaster from the walls before I can afford them. Which is unfortunate, but I'm using them over a previous company because I know what level of quality to expect from both and I would prefer PRITTs quality even if it's more money. The only negative about pritt was that they took off some siding to install the outlet out front and then didn't put it back on and it was a little awkward to fix but they knocked off 50 bucks for that so...it's ok.

I was licensed as a General Building Contractor by the State of California in 1987 and in all my years of building I have never been as impressed with an electrical contractor as I was with the job that Pritt Electric did for me at my church. Joseph Smith and his crew arrived right on time and handled this touchy job like they had done it 100 times before. On the day that the work was to be done I picked up donuts and made coffee for the guys from Pritt Electric and had it ready for them when they got there. These men were so professional that none of them went near the donuts or coffee until the old street light was removed and the new one installed. The Pastor of our church was with me and neither of us had ever seen anything like it! Not only that, I fully expected the job to take 3-4 hours when in fact the new LED street light was up and running in less than and hour and a half. But wait, that's not all. When Joseph and his men thanked the Pastor and I for the work and the 3 trucks from Pritt Electric had gone, there was not one bit of junk on the ground from where they had been working. No cigarette butts, gatorade bottles, coffee cups, nothing! I sure wish that Pritt Electric was around when I was building. I dealt with the same man from Pritt Electric from start to finish. Joseph was on time when we first met to look at what needed to be done and he was on time the day of the work. His estimate was fair and he and his men treated both the Pastor and myself with respect and acted in a professional manner from start to finish. Our church needs to have other work done and I have no doubt in my mind who I will call.

Called in the morning needing same day service. I got better than that! It got installed within 2 hours after my initial call. Andy showed up with another gentleman who's name has slipped my mind (sorry) and was fantastic. Very professional and our conversation shared a lot of mutual understanding. He is a good man. I will keep Pritt Electric as my number #1 go to for any and all future electrical needs. Their response time along with Andy sets them apart in my book!

Excellent experience. Order taken by woman (owner?) very cheerful and scheduled promptly. Serviceman, Drew, arrived on schedule and was pleasant and work-focused. Removed shoes before entering house. Explained problems he found and discussed options for correcting. Not cheap, but competitive with other quotes..

up. They did a very good job. I definitely would use them again.

It went efficiently and professionally. Tom, one of their service people, knows what he is doing and explains as he goes. Great job.

They came out a day and a half after my phone call for estimate and if I accepted the estimate would perform the work right then, not days/weeks later. Needed dryer hooked up as we went back to electric and the previous owner had it originally for electric dryer but at some point took that wire/CB out unbeknownst to us. Joe arrived on time and his estimate was 1/2 of what a competitor was asking for and Joe actually new what it would take and time frame to complete - they were also in the ballpark of what I would think it would take, both price and time. He charged us for the work he did, not what he would think it would take, even knowing that we were getting desperate to get hooked up since we haven't been able to do laundry for 2 weeks. He was efficient in his work and his quality was very good also. Being I'm and electrical engineer, I've been around both good and bad electricians for work, and I would say that he was very good. I will not hesitate to recommend or use Pritt Electric again and am very impressed with their work and their customer service skills.

Joe was covered in insulation and discovered he had been the first ever to open the bedroom attic access good news is there is lots and lots of insulation up there. He went out of his way to match the soft touch pads in both rooms and left everything in perfect shape.

I called Pritt Electrical early on Saturday morning, 8ish. left a VM and they returned my call within 5 minutes. They had 2 Techs at my home in 45 minutes. Both men were professional, were able to quickly troubleshoot my problem and installed modern outlets in about 30 minutes. Both men removed their shoes B4 entering my home and were professionally dressed. Because I travel during the week I was concerned about a possible fire hazard that may occur while away or having to post pone my trip until repairs were fixed. Pritt quickly responded at a reasonable price and gave me the peace of mind I needed to continue my business. THANKS ANGIE!!!!

Worker showed up on time, worked efficiently, answered all of my questions and removed all materials. Worker was clean and quiet.

.It went very well. The installer even put in new switches in the garage for my outdoor lighting. All went very well!

Our house was struck by lightning and our insurance company required us to have a reputable electrician out to inspect our home. They showed up on time and went right to work doing what they were asked to do. We were very satisfied by their professionalism and would not hesitate on calling them again if we needed there help.

Installation was done very professionally. He was punctual and I was satisfied with the service.

Excellent! Joe showed up exactly on time both for the estimate and the installation appointments. He was very profession and the work was finished quickly. Scheduling was easy also. I was able to get the estimate appointment the same day I called and was able to schedule the installation appointment at my convenience. I will definitely use Pritt Electric again in the future.

These guys are great!! Had them come out and give me an estimate toward putting two double receptacless in on my deck GFCI protected. They recommended a new line rather than tapping into something else. We arranged a date and time for the work and they showed up on time eventhough it was drizzling at the time. They did the work and did a great job of hiding the conduit so the job was aesthetically pleasing. They were in and out in just a couple of hours and the work was exactly as discussed. I can't say enought great things about this company.

From start to finish, The guys from Pritt Electric were awesome. They showed up on time just as they said they would to give us an estimate. After looking at it and giving us a price, they said if we wanted, they had time to put it up right now. We agreed. Tom and his partner were so efficient and professional. We have a two story tight entry way that it took a 14' ladder... how they got it in and out was a matter of scientific amazement. They put down a tarp, kept all their tools in one area, and made sure all was cleaned up and working on completion of the job. They had to get into our attic to change out the box from plastic to metal which is a task all in itself. Who ever trained these guys gets a real "Atta boy" and to Tom and I wish I could remember the other guys name, thank you so much for a super job, great price, and a pleasure to do business with. We got a great discount with being Angie's List members too! 5 out of 5 stars all the way around for Pritt Electric.

Everything went fine. The provider was on time and knowledgeable.. The work was done quickly and professionally. Pritt was the subcontractor that originally wired my house when it was built. I have used them since I moved in to find a cable connection the dry wall installers had covered up, install floodlights, run a line and install a floodlight for my flagpole, add a couple of outdoor outlets and install a whole house surge protector. I have always been happy with the responsiveness and service I received. I have also felt the cost was fair. If I would need an electrician for another project I would call them again.
