They were great--friendly, helpful, and provided great information to explain what they could and could not do given the way the carpet was installed. The price was very fair.

They are absolutely the best cleaner and repairer of Oriental rugs in the Indy area. I have been away for 10 years, and my rugs needed help, badly. Tyrone and team took care of me, even after a decade, saying he remembered the face and the name, but not together. It's great going to a business where they know what they are doing and have years and years of experience. Recommend them without any qualifications. They're masters of their trade. AAA+++

The workman were absolutely great and the rug turned out beautifully. I have used before for smaller Turkish knotted rugs. I love the work they do.

We had had it cleaned at another place and they weren't able to get the cat urine smell out, but Poindexter's was able to get it out.

I would not trust my rugs with any other place. They are wonderful for valuable area rugs. They do a remarkable job and they are extremely nice. They have been in business for a long time and are a very professional rug care company.

They always do a wonderful job. The fringe on these rugs gets well worn, and they are able to bring that back to its original state - which makes the rug look even better.

I have used Poindexter/ashjian to clean and repair my area rugs for several years as needed. They came recommended and I have always been happy. They are courteous , prompt and professional at pick-up and delivery.

They were fantastic. My mother and father used them for rug cleaning as well. The same family is still running the business now and they're very dependable. They're extremely nice and the quality of their work is outstanding. I don't recall the pricing of their last work.

They did a fantastic job. They came out, pick them up, wash them, set them out in the sun to dry. Absolutely wonderful.

They gave me their rate over the phone. I thought the only option was to bind the ends after cutting off the fringe, so that's what I asked about. When I dropped the rugs off, they told me they could be bound or serged for the same price. I went with serged so the ends would look like the sides. They also cleaned the rugs. I knew they were a little dirty since they hadn't been cleaned in years, but I didn't realize how the dirt and dust had changed the color. Now they look great! I'm very glad I got this done.

In the past, they've done an excellent job. This time they were very late. I do not think the rug, especially the fringe, is as clean as it normally is. This was a very poor experience. I may use them again but I will tell them personally I was not happy with this job. 9/16/11 Update When I contacted the company they apologized and said they will do the next job for free.

i have used these people for years. They are pleasant, efficient, and they do a wonderful job. Their cleaning is great, but their repair work is extraordinary. After a puppy took a corner off a very large oriental, I thought any repair was hopeless. When it came back I had trouble finding where the damage had been. The repair is nearly invisible - only to be found if you know what you are looking for. Outstanding.

Tyrone (the and quot;man in chargeand quot;) moved the large carpet (8 1/2 x 10 1/2) from our car to inside his workshop (while it took two of us to practically drag it to the car), recognizing the brand from the underside. He also quickly observed that we hadn't used a pad under the carpet. (The company provides pick-up service, but we wanted to take it in order to scope out the operation.) The carpet was ready for pick-up before the promised date. The serg thread was a perfect match, and the carpet looked like new. Within a short time, however, the sewn-on fringe (perpendicular to the serg side) started breaking away from the corner of the carpet. We took it back to Poindexter, and they repaired it at no charge. We were very pleased with the service and results.

Very well. They came to my house and picked it up and delivered it back on time. The rug and fringework looked great and price was reasonable.

I spent about $65-$80 on them. They came out to pick up the rug, cleaned it, and brought it back. It was neat and clean. I liked it very much. I most definitely will use them again in the future.

Although I was a bit startled at how much it cost, they did give me an estimate when I dropped the rug off. The rug hasn't looked this beautiful since my grandmother had it in her home. They did an excellent job cleaning new and old dirt from it, and did an excellent job repairing the frayed edges. I am extremely pleased and will take the rest of the orientals I inherited to them to clean and repair.

They did a great job on the carpets. They were helpful and courteous and they had the carpets ready for pickup as promised.

We had purchased two short runners (on clearance) to have installed on our stairway, which has a landing. One runner wasn't long enough, and the Ashjian installers were able to trim off some of one rug and attach it to the other. They did a great job piecing the rugs, allowing us to make the most of the great deal that we got on the runners. The installers were also very tolerant of our dogs, who love to visit with service people. We are very happy with the work they did, and the stairway looks fabulous.
