Everything went very well and the price was reasonable.

They were easy to work with. The owner stayed on site during the work for most of the time.

It went fine. They did a beautiful job; they are really good. We used them to recoat our driveway every year or two. They are very reasonable in price.

They arrived as scheduled with a large crew and all the needed equipment and materials. Despite the extremely hot weather, they did a very good job and we are quite pleased with their work.

Joe Phillips and his crew were extremely professional. Joe was the first to respond to my request for a quotation. His estimate was the most competitive of the three I received. He did a very good job of describing the work that would be required to restore the driveway. He and his crew completed the job in a single day. The appearance and quality of the work exceeded my highest expectations for restoration. The driveway appears brand new with very sharp, meticulous edging. Joe and his team were very careful not to disturb or damage any of the surrounding landscaping. They completely cleaned up the site upon completion.

The first time they did the crack sealer, it was the afternoon after a morning rain. The filler separated from the seal coating and needed to be redone. They were prompt in addressing the issue, returned and did the driveway a second time within a few days of alerting them to the issue. The second time, for an unknown reason, the crack filler turned a muddy brown and did not match the black seal coating and looked awful. A third call to them prompted another quick response, re did the area a third time, looks fine and we appreciated they worked with us until the driveway was ok. They have excellent attention to detail and we reliable about making sure we were happy with the final results of our driveway.

It has been a drought year, and the first time it rained, there was a large indentation in the driveway. They came back immediately and redid a large segment of the driveway. It rained once again, and this time the area was somewhat smaller but it still existed. They came out again and redid the job. They were not hesitant to come out and redo the work. My problem now is that there is still probably a 2 by 3 section of the driveway that does hold a little bit of water right in the middle of where that entire area was. I have not had it sealed because we have to wait a while before that is done. The whole thing is just unfortunate; they have been in town a while and have a good reputation. I cannot complain about their willingness to try to make it right. I would possibly use them again in the future.

Joe Phillips came out in March and we discussed our options. We decided that the best option was to overlay the concrete driveway with asphalt. Joe said that they don't start until April because of the weather. We were delayed a bit because of a very rainy April. Joe's crew came out on a Thursday to do the prep work. But because of continuous rain, they had to wait until Monday to lay the asphalt. Their work was very well done. The edges are carefully detailed and the rain drains well without any pooling. They put in a small ramp from the drive to the walk to avoid a step down. We have had several compliments on the appearance of the driveway.

They did an excellent job. There were very prompt and did quality work. In and out in a half day. Very pleased!

On time, professional, responsive - did a good job.

I have used this company before so just called to schedule and get the price. I was pleased that it had not increased since 2008. The crew came when I was away but did a great job just as they had done in the past.

Asked three contractors for estimates and Joe Phillips was on time and gave an estimate before he left. The other two contractors sent estimates later in the week. Joe was very knowledgable and gave honest opinions with clear expectations of levels of work to be preformed. Decided to go with Phillips Paving and they were up front about when they might start and were accurate. Crew worked well and job was completed that day. We did a walk through and he answered any questions I had.

Wow. The job was better than I expected. Our driveway was not in good shape. They spent the better part of one day getting it ready with the owner on site. It actually looked better at that point! The next day they came and worked all day on the drive. I am sure they added more than the 2.5 inches which is a good deal. The owner was again on site and inspected the drive with me at the finish. He gave me great instructions on what to do to keep the drive looking great. Very professionial,very prompt, and what I consider great service. I would not hesitate to use them again or reccommend them to anyone. Very good price for what we got.

They were great. He did not give me a time frame to show up. He said he had not started the service yet this spring, but then he was in the neighborhood and just stopped by. He did give me an estimate and I have not made my decision at this point.

I wasn't pleased with their service. They had to come back to fix some mistakes, and at least they came back, but it should not have been necessary. Those mistakes could have been avoided with the first visit. They also damaged an outdoor faucet and did not apologize or offer to fix it.

They did a good job. In retrospect I just think the price was high.

We set up an appointment to meet with Steve. He came out and took measurements for us to get a new driveway put down. We have a very long and curvy driveway so it took a little extra time. Steve was polite and professional. After we decided to go with this company, Steve came out again to do a final measurement as we wanted to change a couple areas that were being paved - it was no problem for him to come back out. The best part was that they said they would be able to do the job the following week -- too bad it rained and of course the driveway could only be done with weather permitting. The were out the first dry day and started working at 9 am and were finished around 5 pm. They also trenched and put in a better quality pipe under the back part of the driveway to make sure water wouldn't sit under the driveway. The finished product looks amazing and has added so much curb appeal to our wooded property. Joe, the owner, called us the next morning to ask for payment and answer any questions we had about the driveway. He let us know when we could drive on it, the weight limit and how to avoid the edges from getting damaged. Overall I was satisfied with this company and they were the best priced (I only got 2 quotes, including theirs).

The company was on time, after several days of rain delay. They cut around the sidewalk to the house, and angled off the edges of the driveway to make it look very neat. It was a job done very professionally. They instructed us to keep all vehicles and other heavy objects off the driveway for four days, and roped off the driveway at the street when they were finished.

I called for an estimate for asphalt paving of a parking area off our driveway. The woman who answered the phone said that she wasn't sure whether they serviced this area, even though their blurb on Angie's List said they serviced Hamilton County. She said the estimator would call to either set up the estimate or tell me that they didn't service this area. It is now five days later, and I've received no call.

The above is pretty much the whole story. I was ignored.

It was excellent work and I was very happy. They came when they said they would and they said that they would finish it in one day, which they did. I was happy that it got done and that it looks good.

I found them on Angie's List and there were no problems related to getting them out to look it over and give an estimate. We arranged to have the service done and they worked around my schedule. I was not home when they did the service, but it looked beautiful when I got home. He was very helpful in answering my questions and it was an all around good company to work with.

The work was outstanding. We had gotten an estimate in May, but procrastinated because of parking issues. We called Steve Chenowith on Sep. 15th and told him we'd be out of town for a couple of days and asked if they could do the paving the next day! He came out and re-figured the estimate (and because of fuel costs it had increased quite a bit). We agreed to the estimate and I told him we'd trust him with our driveway while we were out of town. When we got home the driveway was done exactly as he had promised. Our driveway is very hilly and they were very careful to see that the drainage flowed exactly the way it needs to. They gave us advice on caring for the driveway and recommendations on how to keep it in good shape.

I was happy with this service. The crew showed up on time and they were easy to work with. They did whatever I asked. I am happy with their work.
