I called and requested an estimate for sealing my driveway. After a week went by with no response, I called again to request the estimate. I got a call back that they needed "more information." I called back and gave the person the same information I'd given earlier. I never got an estimate or call back after that. I went with another company to do the work.

I would give them a grading of an "A". The entire paving crew worked diligently to fulfill the high standards they provide.

Very prompt in estimating and provided competitive quote, indeed quite a bit lower than some other local pavers. Spring was their busy time and it took 5 weeks or so from when quote was accepted to when work was done, but they were communicative and responded to inquiries in the interim. They sent a large crew to prep area one day (including edging around some vegetation) and then another crew to pave it the next. Left the site clean and well marked. Really a great provider and experience all around.

There was a lot of back and forth via email, but that was largely my doing. I travel a lot and they were great about answering my emailed questions about their quote. I was out of town when they completed the work, but I came back to a beautiful new asphalt driveway. I envisioned the addition would be built up a little bit more than it was - perhaps another four inches - so that there isn't such a slope from the end of the original drive to the end of the addition, so I asked them for ideas on what can be done. It's been more than a week since they said they would stop by and let me know what my options were, so I didn't give them an A for quality or responsiveness. I really wish we could've talked about something to do about that, since I want to put a basketball goal up - but the drive itself does look good.

The provider arrived on time Monday and prepared the driveway for repaving. Special attention was made to areas that needed extra asphalt. This was an especially long driveway which curved through the trees. Tuesday, the provider arrived on time and workers paved for 4-5 hours until they were finished. Several times they asked for approval of something they were doing before proceeding. They acted professionally, management was excellent, and they were prompt with the estimate and the work. And they did a fine job. We are pleased with the work and would definitely hire them again.

We had our drive (which is a very large 2 lane circle drive with a large pad @ the back) re-paved several years ago however, the overall results with Phillips far exceeded the previous company's work. Phillips did an excellent job preparing the drive, removing the broken areas, resurfacing and tamping down the edges. They provided written instructions for the care of the new asphalt. The job they did was outstanding.

The Phillips Paving Co did a wonderful job, had plenty of workers cleaned up. Joe, Steve kept us informed about when they would get to us, due to the weather getting bad and after the work was done Jeff gave us information when we would be able to drive on the driveway,information to contact them with any problems and how to maintain the driveway , which was very helpful. I would recommend this company to anyone who wants quality work done. But you have to be patient because sometimes Mother Nature predicts when we can work outside. Thanks Guys

I am very happy with the results of the driveway installation. My daughter can now ride her bicycle and we will no longer have to worry about bad weather stopping us from exiting our home. Previously I could not use my snow blower because of the gravel driveway, that is now not an issue. We are very happy with the results. Thank You Phillips Paving!!

I called and asked for an estimate to be done and one was setup. I also asked questions of the person on the phone such as price per sq/ft including removal of old driveway and paving of new or just paving of new after I removed the old. I was given prices of $1.50 without removal and $2.50 with removal. The person that arrived to do the estimate quoted me prices of $2.50 without removal and $3.50 with removal. Thats a difference of $2,000.00+ in my case. All of this without a single scrap of paper showing any quotes.

Called to set up appointment because of dog on property and I wanted to be present to discuss additional work.. Was told a sales person would call to set up appointment. A sales person came un-announced, called me to tell me he was at residence, had to reschedule with another sales person. This person cancelled at last minute stated he had a sick friend in the hospital he wanted to visit. Re scheduled appointment, salesman did show up on time, however it took him over three weeks to respond with a quote with no explanation of why. I have no desire to hire a company with this kind of professionalism.

They did a nice job. They replaced the sand. The crew was good and they gave suggestions on when to do the seal coating. I am very pleased with them.

After seeing the great reviews for this company, I called them to request a quote for adding to my existing driveway to make a circle drive with a second street entrance. I called on 7/2 and was told someone would contact me in the day or two. I realize the 4th of July weekend might have caused some delay. I called again today, 7/8 and they had all my information and the woman answering the phone seemed surprised I had not heard from them. She said she would be sure to let the owner know that I have called twice. Mr. Phillips did contact me the next morning and apologized for the delay. He was very nice and came out the same day to look at the job and talk with me. He provided me with a competitive proposal later that evening via email. I was very impressed with Mr. Phillips and knowledge of the Carmel regulations and his dedication to get the bid out to me on the same day. I had received proposals from two companies, both highly rated, and only chose the other company because they could do the concrete work as well as the asphalt. I would consider using Phillips Paving in the future.

My experience with Phillip's Paving was positive and stress-free. From the time of the estimate until completion of the job, I was fully informed about the steps of the paving process and was always kept up to date on the timing of the project (having to deal with rain). Every member of the company was professional, informative and efficient. My driveway looks fantastic, and I would highly recommend Phillip's Paving for any job, small or large. They will definitely be my guys if I need anything in the future.

They repaved a 35 yard long asphalt driveway. The salesperson returned my call within a couple days. Since I called prior to the asphalt plant being open, he told me he would wait a few weeks prior to coming out. A few weeks later the salesperson called and we set up an appointment. He told me what need to be done about repaving my driveway. He gave me a quote. It seemed reasonable. I was contacted 3 days later and we had a repaved driveway within the week. The owner was at the job site when the asphalt was put down. He was patient with my questions and he gave me a great deal of confidence that he knows his business.

They did the job well and in the time they projected. We have been very satisfied with their service.

Very pleased with the work at the time and still pleased with the result 6-9 months later. They did exactly what they said they would do. They left the site very tidy and clean. Mr. Phillips walked with me down the entire driveway to make sure I was satisfied. Would definitely use them again and recommend to others.

It's an older driveway so I've had a lot of experience with comparing these services, and they did the best job. It looked great when they had finished. They communicated very well. They would call me every time and tell me when they were coming, and I've had other companies that just showed up. It's nice to know before hand, so I appreciated all of that.

The company responded to my first call right away and left an estimate (proposal/agreement). I accepted their proposal and at that time they informed me that it would take up to three months (depending on weather ) to complete the work. I was alright with this. About three months later they came a day or two before the actual paving and prepared the drive, edged grass, staked off existing driveway where needed. Within two days they leveled driveway, resurfaced with approved hot mix asphalt, hand tamped edges, compacted hot asphalt with power roller, cleaned up the area and roped off the paved area. Workers were efficient and courteous and their work and clean-up was good.

I called to get an estimate. The receptionist said that I would hear from an estimator "in the next couple of days." I never heard from an estimator.

I understand they may be busy be a phone call is not asking for much.
