I spoke to the member today prior to seeing his review and informed him that we would be unable to help him out. Our season is just now getting underway for estimating. As far as I know, the member was satisfied with the call.

Description of Work: Phillips was coming out on Tuesday, August 28 to look at the driveway and give me an estimate. I waited all day--they neither came nor called. On August 31, they came out again, said hello, looked around, then stomped off. While I was talking with a visitor, he got in his car and took off so fast, he made loose gravel fly. They were obviously too busy for me, also rather “hot-headed”. I wouldn’t do business with them if they did decide to come out again.

Description of Work: Hired Phillips Paving Company to do two residential driveways. They did a excellent job very well pleased with the work, there professionalism, there fair price. No one ever called back.

Description of Work: I CONTACTED PHILLIP''S PAVING ON MONDAY, APRIL 14. MY CALL WAS RETURNED ON APRIL 15, 2003 APPOINTMENT WAS SET FOR THURSDAY, APRIL 17, 2003 AFTER THE NOON HOUR. IT HAD RAINED OFF AND ON THE DAY OF THE APPOINTMENT. EARLY IN THE DAY I WONDERED IF THEY WOULD COME OUT BUT I FIGURED AN ESTIMATE COULD BE DONE WITH A LITTLE RAIN. I WAITED AT MY HOME AND THEN FINALLY AT 3:30 I RECEIVED A CALL FROM THE COMPANY ESTIMATOR WHO PROCEEDED TO TELL ME THAT IT IS COMPANY POLICY IF IT RAINS AT ALL THEY CANCEL ALL APPOINTMENTS. I TOLD STEVE THAT IT WAS NOT RAINING NOW IN FACT THE SUN WAS SHINING. HE SAID THAT HE KNEW RIGHT AWAY THAT THEY WOULD NOT BE OPERATING THAT DAY. I WAS QUITE AGGRAVATED THAT HE KNEW EARLY IN THE DAY THAT HE WAS NOT GOING TO KEEP HIS APPOINTMENT WITH ME YET HE WAITED 3 AND HALF HOURS AFTER OUR APPOINTMENT TO CALL AND LET ME KNOW HE WASN''T GOING TO COME OUT. I CALLED COMPANY TO REPORT, AND THEY RESPONDED WITH INDIFFERENCE.
