Faxes somehow didn't ever arrive, but Steve was accommodating. Professional and responsible. I am living in Colorado and still felt comfortable having work arranged from here. Price was about $800 less than any other quote I got and they did an excellent job!

Phillips repaved my driveway, then sealed it a year later. Both experiences with them were great! Their prices were very competitive, they were very punctual and easy to schedule, and cleaned up the work area very well. My driveway looks very nice and the asphalt has held up well. A friend visited whose family owns an asphalt company in another state, and he commented on how well he thought the job was done (and said the price was good, too)!

The work was done in a timely manner. They were very professional. I had no complaints with the company. They showed up on time. They explained everything to me that they were going to do. They did a great job.

Steve and Joe worked very willingly and thoroughly with me to provide estimates under various scenarios. I had started leaning toward asphalt drive replacement rather than resurface. Sought other estimates. Decided to go with a competitor due to (a) competitor provides both asphalt and concrete service (instead of just asphalt) and (2) pricing. Note, though, that I did not ask Phillips to counter the competitor's bid. Who knows? We may have been able to work out something.

They did a good job. They did what they said they were going to do, and the price was reasonable. They did the job while I was away, and when I came home it was done the way that I had wanted it done.

From start to finish, this was a class act. Steve, the estimator came out and prepared a quote which he faxed to me the next day. We played phone tag due to my busy schedule but he always returned my call. The crew showed up at the appointed time and went to work. The two brothers who own the company came by and checked on the progress which impressed me due to the small size of my job. At the end the crew cleaned up the work area, posted flags across the driveway and came to me to have me look over everything so that it was done to my satisfaction. Only then did they collect any money from me. This company was responsive, professional, friendly, and fantastic to work with from day one. If you are looking for asphalt companies, stop looking and call this company. You won't regret it. I am already getting ready to use them again to re-top my entire 150' long drive way.

The owner was very cooperative and follow up behind the workman and made sure everything was done correctly.

They went over and above for the work that they did and for the price that was quoted. They did extra work for me and didn't even charge me for it. They did a great job, and I would use again in the future.

I recommend this company to others. It only took them half the day to complete the job. They were very professional and one of the owners stayed on site the whole day. I was impressed with this company and have no regrets about using them.

They were very good about communicating with me when there was an issue with the weather. The work had to be rescheduled twice due to rain forecasts, but they were very good in contacting me to reschedule. They did a great job and I would use them again.

Joe Phillips (owner) was at my home within a few days of calling for an estimate. He worked with me when I told him his quote was higher than one another I had obtained. After getting a third quote I picked his company. His quote was in the middle of the other two, and all three quotes were within $200 of each other. I picked him based on personality and the fact that he or his brother (also an owner) would be on the job site at all times. The next Monday he called and said he could start about noon. He and his crew showed up with all of their equipment and tore out the old asphalt, added some additional stone and regraded the driveway, then laid down a 2" asphalt binder. It rained the next two days, but he called me each day to say they would not be there due to the rain. Then on Thursday the top layer of asphalt was laid and rolled with the job finished by noon. My new driveway looks great!

It went very well. They responded promptly, answered all my questions, gave me a senior discount, and did a good job. I appreciated being able to use a credit card for this job at this particular time.

Called and left message. Received follow up from office same day saying the estimator would be in touch. Never heard from estimator.

They were courteous, polite and professional in their estimate. I hired a different company because they had a lower price, but Steve Chenowith took the news well.

They came out and answered all of our questions. We have contracted them to do the job.

Contacted Phillips for estimate on driveway project. Steve Chenowith (estimator) came out; after I described to him my intent on the widening, he made some helpful suggestions for options to accomplish my goals. He was polite, personable, and not pressuring. He left me with the estimate and encouraged me to move forward quickly as the paving season was nearing an end for the year. When I called back to accept the proposal he was helpful and courteous. Rain delayed the work for a few days. Due to lateness of season, the job was compressed into a 1 day job instead of 2 days. The crew began arriving at 9:00 am and they had cleaned up and departed by 3:30 pm. Joe Phillips was present as part of the work crew. Joe was polite, helpful, and gave me a feeling of confidence in what he said and how the crew worked. The drive now looks absolutely great. I'm very encouraged by this choice of vendor. I had another estimate that was less; but the vendor had lower Angie's List scores than Phillips.

Very well. The contractor scheduled the work around my medical situtaion (recent major surgery). The workers arrived at the agreed time and Dale was on-site most of the time to ensure timely work on the project. Maybe I didn't make myself clear, but one area could have been done better. From a previous cement driveway there were exposed cement pieces on the sides of the apron at the street end of the driveway. I asked that these pieces could be covered over with the blacktop to make for a better appearance and to fill in an area which otherwise collects rainwater and gets muddy from time to time. It wasn't a big deal. I just wasn't able to check to see if that got done before the crew left.

I cannot express how grateful I am to Phillips for their honesty in explaining to us why they would not complete our driveway. Originally our neighbors wanted to re-do the driveway, and that is why I got the original estimate from Phillips. They were very competitive, and were only going to do what needed to be done-and the price reflected that. I decided to go with them. Our neighbors then decided against doing the entire driveway this summer. We really wanted to do our own back area because it has become very brittle and broken. Phillips came out and we talked through the reasons they couldn't do that, that it would ruin the rest of the drive to pull their heavy equipment to the back, etc. They said that any other company would come in there and the outcome would be the same. I just really appreciated their time and honesty with us. We will be back to us them when we can agree on the right timeframe with our neighbors!

I called in early Spring to sign-up for reseal. They schedule work based on location. I was contacted a week before the actual work was performed to let me know the exact day the work would be performed. Looks great and you can't beat the price. I will continue to use Phillips paving in the future!

Phillips Paving did a great job! They came out several times to give me two different estimates after I changed my mind on what I wanted done. They were prompt, polite, and even called after the work was completed to make sure I was fully satisfied and did not have any additional questions. I would highly recommend this company to anyone!
