She was timely with communication.

In June 2012 I contacted Pegg asking her to make an appointment for me to see a condo that I found on the internet. In order to accomplish the purchase I needed to sell my home. Pegg walked me through the process of preparing and listing my home for sale. She thoroughly explained the current market and the timing of placing my home on the market. Approximately ten showings in about eight weeks produced a contract in early August. Less than a week later my offer on the condo was accepted. The closings were completed and I moved in September. Throughout the entire process Pegg was consistently available to work with me and answer my questions. On several occasions one or the other of us was out of town but always available due to the convenience of cell phones. While I was away during the entire month of July her husband and business partner, Mike, frequently checked on our home. Although I know that Pegg is very busy and actively selling homes, she was so attentive to my needs that I always felt as if I was her only client. I appreciated Pegg's advice in pricing and preparing my home for a quick sale. I primarily believe that my home sold so quickly because it was fairly and appropriately priced for the location and the market. In addition, I had thoroughly cleaned everywhere, repaired small damage, and thinned out my possessions so that my home could best be shown to potential clients. Along with a video tour on the internet Pegg's special touch was compiling the brochure that potential buyers could take with them to remind them of my home. In the brochure were photos, the listing, local information and a special note from me explaining why I love my home. It enabled me to personally share highlights of my home and my neighborhood. If I ever decide to move again I will not hesitate to call Pegg to facilitate the process.

I met Pegg at an open house in our neighbor hood in the fall of 2011 and was very impressed with how engaging she was and how hard she seemed to be working for that home owner. We knew we wanted to list our home for sale in the spring of 2012 and so invited her over in late 2011 to take a look and give us our list of things we needed to do to get it sold. She sat down with us and was very honest about the value of the home and what things we could do to make a sale more likely. When I balked at some of the things she told us - she looked at me and said "do you want to sell your home or not?". She is very straight forward and knows what she is talking about. We did everything she told us to do and we were successful in selling our home in one showing within 5% of the asking price. Part of the reason it sold so quickly was that Pegg knows the marketplace as well. She was able to get the word out to fellow realtors who had buyers interested in our type of home and thus the sale happened quickly. Once we had the offer, her work really started. In today's world, you have to get the home appraised properly or the loan will not go through. Pegg worked tirelessly to get the appraiser good comp information and a very thorough description of our home with all relevant updates. There were very few issues with the closing and things went smoothly. We also used Pegg to look for a new home. I did a lot of searching and gave her lists of houses we would like to see - she also made suggestion based upon our criteria. We were moving to an area of the city that we didn't know much about and she helped in getting us acquainted with that part of the city as well. We looked at quite a few houses with Pegg and she pointed a few things out in some houses that we wouldn't have noticed (and we consider ourselves "old hands" at this - this is our 5th house). Once again, once we decided on a house, she helped move the negotiation process and closing process along. Highly recommend Pegg for either a purchase or sale of a home!
