PC Computer Guy

We have used this company several times in the last three years. He teaches in a manner that is easy for us "seniors" to understand. He is prompt and goes right to work. He will take as much time as needed.

Nick came to our house about an hour after I called him. He was planning on taking that afternoon off, but instead addressed my problem. The fee was very reasonable, too. We were very satisfied and will use Nick on a regular basis.

Would use Nick again in a heartbeat. Fixed the main issue and also fixed another problem I was having. Thought the price was very reasonable.

I called Nick, set up an appointment date, gave him my laptop, got it back the next day , it was working perfectly, wrote him a check for his services, and have been smiling ever since.

I had a failed graphics card which caused the infamous "blue screen" crash of Windows. I replaced the card, but still Windows would not boot. Nick was able to rapidly diagnose and fix the problem: a corrupted boot sector. He was able to preserve all my data. I would not have been able to do this on my own. Nick was also thoughtful enough to call me that night to let me know it was up and running; I had been very anxious. He was very patient in talking though the issues with me so I had as complete an understanding as possible. The total cost was half of what I was expecting it might be.

Mr. Ellis was very professional and worked quickly to fix the problems. He emailed me in a few days to see if all was ok. There were a few "clean up" items and he addressed them from his computer after he guided me through a program allowing him to access my computer without coming to my house. I have been enjoying my new "speedy" computer and would not hesitate to call him again should I need his assistance.

I have used Nick in the past and contacted him again when i was having issues with my CD-ROM drive on my laptop. He ordered a new one and replaced it for me on the spot. A few days later, I was having some issues downloading some software and thought that I was still experiencing problems with the CD-ROM drive, but he helped me to troubleshoot my issue and discovered that the problem was with the disc and not the drive. As always, Nick is very responsive to questions and problems, and does an excellent job following up to make sure everything is working as it should.

My computer would not load the windows operating system and the router wireless network stopped working. I called Nick on Tuesday and he was at our house Wednesday afternoon promptly. He fixed all of our problems and got both the computer and the wireless network up and running. He also cleaned up the computer and got it running faster and loaded software to backup our files on a weekly basis. He was very professional, friendly and customer focused. He explained everything to my wife and even to me over the telephone. He is a one man business and he delivers results at a fair price. I highly recommend Nick. He will fix your problem.

My monster gaming PC wouldn't start up. PC Guy picked up my PC and returned it to me in working order within 2 days. He explained in detail what he did but I don't understand any of that PC stuff. Something about switching a circuit or something. He also cleaned my PC really good. Looks almost brand new again!!! Thumbs up!

Excellent. I received a phone call within 24hrs advising of the problem and solution.

Nick answered the phone and was very attentive to the story of the laptop. He took some basic customer information and we arranged for a drop off at his location. Next day he called me with his findings and got my feedback on a course of action. Picked up the next day, paid on site with a visa. Very good experience.

Our computer is only about a year old but had become slow and would freeze up often, likely due to virus infection. I called on Thursday and Nick Ellis came out on Friday and picked up our computer. He cleaned it up and returned it on Monday. It is now operating as fast as it did when we first got it. He also gave us several recommendations on how we can prevent these problems from arising in the future. Included in his price was the cost of a $90 graphics card which he installed on a second computer used for games. We are very pleased with his service and plan to use him for all our computer needs and problems.

Called Nick late in the evening to arrange a time that I could drop off my desktop HP Media Center PC to see if it could be fixed. Dropped the PC off at the agreed upon time and location and waited for Nick to call with the news. Nick backed up all of the personal files, pictures and music that were on the hard drive before starting his analysis. Nick called back in the evening to let me know what he had found. Good news was that nothing important was lost. Bad news was the PC could not be fixed for less than the cost of a new PC. Nick was gracious enough to copy the saved files to an external hard drive that I provided. A complete list of all that Nick did to arrive at his diagnosis was provided on the invoice when I picked up the PC and paid him. I would certainly recommend PcComputerGuy to anyone needing help with a PC. I feel that I received a honest assessment, a timely response, and an affordable price for the work that Nick performed.

Nick was very knowledgeable and generous with his insights about what works and what doesn't - I was having minor issues in Internet Explorer and he suggested the move to Firefox, which has been a great thing. We had an irritating workaround for the router problem that had been suggested by the Mobile Geeks, but he set it up so we wouldn't have to do that anymore. He has also answered a followup question by email. I recommended him to my folks and they were very pleased too. He does a great job with education in addition to the nuts and bolts fixes.

I called Nick on monday afternoon and he answered the phone personally ( no v/m). He was working on a system and said he'd call back in ten minutes ( he called back in 8 minutes). Said he'd meet me near where I was in 20 minutes ( he was waiting at the location when I arrived) and pick up my laptop. Nick gave me a estimate within my budget and told me he would have the laptop back to me on tuesday. Nick called at noon on tuesday and met me near where I was and gave me the laptop back in working condition. Everything went exactly the way a consumer should expect it should go. Very pleased with the works performed , downladed a couple of new programs to enhance the computer.

P/C Computer Guy called and said he would be there at 1pm and that he was running late. He showed up about 15 minutes late. He came and put Windows back on my P/C, it took about 2 hours from start to finish.

I called Nick on a Tuesday afternoon and he came to the house the next day. He was knowledgeable and friendly. He provided clear explanations for everything he did. He worked very efficiently and provided outstanding service for a very reasonable price. I would give Nick the highest recommendation.

Fantastic! My laptop was ready the following day, and Nick took the time to explain the problem and walk me through everything he did to clean it up. Removed some icons from my desktop and made some minor changes to improve overall efficiency. Made some recommendations on anti-virus software and how I should back everything up. He gave me a detailed written report of everything as well. My laptop is running perfectly now, it's like a whole new computer!

We were very pleased with Nick's expertise and his work on our computer. The computer is fast again and works great. He explained everything clearly. Nick did a great job and I have recommended him to friends and family.

He came on a Friday, the same day we called, and after working with the computer about 15 minutes determined that the hard drive was failing. He took the computer with him and called the following day to let us know he had the new hard drive installed but due to the condition of the hard drive, he was having trouble moving the data. He was able to use recovery disks and with our online data backup, no files were lost. When he returned the computer on Monday, he was willing to answer all our questions and offered helpful information.

Before making the appointment, I had a concise list of items to be fixed/changed/set-up, and had already prescreened tech support vendors by researching online. He arrived promptly, worked quickly and efficiently, and easily located additional information online (for example, software drivers). He answered my questions patiently (but was not too chatty) and was able to function as a trainer, not just a tech support and repair guy. I like that he is A+ Certified and takes computer courses every year. Reasonable prices.

Nick is always on time, goes right to the problem, doesn't leave until he fixes the problem or offers alternative answers, and can handle most tech issues. Reasonable price. He's very polite, engaging and informed. He never stops trying to learn the newest information and stays on cutting edge. I've used Nick's services for 3 years so far and he's always helpful.
