 + -1 moreWe had questions about the 60-day and 30-day notice of move out policy. We contacted the leasing office well in advance this period to ask clarifying questions so that we would be sure to follow the policy exactly as needed to avoid any unnecessary rent due after the time we would be vacating. The leasing office staff person, with whom we spent 20-25 minutes on the phone discussing the questions we had, led us to believe that we needed to give 30 day notice prior to our move out date. We went in today, 7/13/15, to give our written notice that we are moving out 8/14/15, and were told that we would be charged rent through 8/31/15. This is counter to what the leasing office staff person led us to believe and counter to the very issue we took careful steps to avoid.
Description of Work: Failed to honor the information their leasing staff gave us about the 30 day notice, which was that this needed to be given 30 days prior to move out.
