Overhead Door Co of Indianapolis & Muncie

I called Overhead Door of Indianapolis at approximately 10:00 am on Sunday morning and a service representative was at my home by 1:00 pm. I explained the problem that I was having with the garage door in detail and he was able to get the door back in track upon his arrival. I have still had some problems with the garage door not closing, and have had to schedule an additional service call with Overhead Door later this week. Overhead Door had tried a cheaper alternative to try to fix the situation I was having and indicated that we might have to follow up if the situation was not solved.

Original door would not close because two panels broke. Called them at 7:33 a.m. and they came out at 9:10 the same day, Wednesday. The original door was not purchased from them. They could replace the panels, but I decided to get a new door, with delivery and install on Friday. Nicolas Martinez came out and installed the door and explained everything to me and he had to do extra work because the original door was not installed correctly. He was very courteous and helpful and I definitely would recommend their service.

Lightning strike burned out my garage door opener (not from Overhead Doors of Indy.) They were able to come to my home within one day to estimate the repair work. Came back two days later and replaced my whole opener system.

I was very happy with their service. They came out on Saturday morning to see what was making the noise. We had just installed a "whisper" garage door opener, but there was still quite a bit of noise coming from the door. The rep from Overhead Door admitted that he couldn't see a dent or what was making the noise, but that it was the door. He ordered a new panel and they came out the next Saturday to replace it. Both days they were on time, friendly and called when they were about a half hour from our house. I had no problems getting them to follow the warranty. I was very happy with the whole experience.

They were able to fix the door, including having parts available in one service trip.

I had to call repeatedly to get this set up (lost paperwork, missing down payment). When the door was finally installed, it was not the one I expected. The window configuration was different from what I believed I ordered. After several phone conversations, we negotiated a free peephole in the new door at no charge. I would have preferred to have the door I expected, though the one installed looks fine.

I am very happy with the door,longlast. But I had to call repeatedly about my work order (lost paperwork) and downpayment (missing check). I also had to call repeatedly to get someone to come out and make a needed adjustment (the seal at the bottom was trimmed too short and needed to be replaced).

Called for service. Paul did not do any troubleshooting over the phone with me. Service came out and my husband had accidentally shut the power off on the side of the panel while painting. Needless to say, I owed the 89.00 service call. Since they were here, I went ahead and had both of the doors serviced. Called into the office ask for a manager. I spoke with a PAUL again, who talked awful to me. I ask why their company did not do troubleshooting with the customer over the phone instead of just sending someone out. He blamed me for not looking over my service manual (the door is 10 years old.) He told me he gets 100 calls a day and doesn't have time to do troubleshooting. I ask if they were on Angie's list and he didn't know. He told me to have a good day and hung up on me. I had to call three more times to speak to the general manager. I never ask for my money back. If I can find another garage door company to use next time, I will. I was treated POORLY by this company.

Great service. Always has been -every time I have needed garage door repair. Came the next day when it was convenient for me.

They left without programming the keypad.

The first guy they sent out measured incorrectly. Then they had been having trouble with their supplier, and at the time they brought the materials out it was realized that they were inferior and did not fit. The real kicker was my husband had to keep taking off work to be there every time, when they finally did the job we gave them our credit card they wrote it down, then a couple of weeks later they called in regards to not having payment, which we had proof of in a written receipt. So my husband had to take off work again to go to them to give our credit card number.

It's a neat door with 3 locks on the side and one on the bottom. They answered all my questions in a very friendly manner. They were on time and efficient. They noticed that my old patio door was installed incorrectly, which delayed the installation of the new door. However, they set the new door in correctly.

Arrived on time and did an excellent job! I felt price was fair.

This company installed the door a year or so ago. They came out and repaired the door when they said they would and at no cost.

They were just great. Very professional. Pricing was in line. I didn't want to live without a opener, so they were very time sensitive. I did not have to wait forever.

Installer was on appointed time. Completed installation and instructions in about three hours.

They did a great job! Price was very fair.

They came out the very next day, told me that I needed to oil it more and that was about it! It was nice that they came so quick. Received AL discount. They called before they came and the gentlemen took me through the steps of what to do.

We had a good experience with this company. They do not give free estimates, so we had to pay $49 for the estimate even though we told them on the phone that we needed a new bottom panel. They were prompt with their appts and polite.

Arrived on time, diagnosed problem and told us how to avoid having it happen again, a bit expensive for the scope of work that they did and the time it took but overall, we're happy

I had trouble with the old door. The salesman said that they had my size of door at the warehouse, but when the installer came, it was the wrong size. They went ahead an hung it because I couldn't open my garage door. When the new panels come in, they are supposed to come and replace the two panels. The door works fine, it just doesn't look right. The two top panels are being remade. They did not want me to pay them until the new panels are installed.

Easy to work with and professional. They came out and fixed the problem while I was at work. Called in payment on the phone. I considered doing this job myself, but people I knew, and most the information on the Internet, recommends hiring a professional.

I BACKED INTO MY GARAGE DOOR AND THEY HAD TO FIX IT ENOUGH SO THAT I COULD GET INTO MY GARAGE. THEN THEY CAME OUT THE NEXT MORNING AND PUT IN A BRAND NEW STEEL GARAGE DOOR. NO PROBLEMS WHAT SO EVER. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. COURTEOUS, PLEASANT, HELPFUL, PUNCTUAL AND PROFESSIONAL.

On time, recommended that I replace the sensors. When we said that we could buy a new opener at Sears for less, he was then able to adjust our door.

Dave Saters was my sales rep. He arrived at the scheduled time, reviewed the work to be done and gave me an estimate at the conclusion of the appointment. The work was performed at the scheduled time (approximately a week later) and the crew was professional.
