They were prompt and professional. They got it done pretty quickly. There was one little problem, but they quickly came back and fixed it when I called and asked.

The tech guy, Dave, that came out was extremely rude. I think he was confused. My friend had backed into my garage door, and the tech was talking to my friend’s husband about it. I think he thought the house was my friend’s husband. I told him he needed to be talking to me since it was my garage door. He got upset about that, and he said that he was talking business with my friend’s husband. I told him again that it was my garage door, so he needed to talk to me. I felt like he was trying to purposely be intimidating towards me, and that’s the first I’ve felt intimated like that in the past three years. When my friend smashed into the garage, it smashed the door in. I have a car in the garage with a battery that doesn’t work, so they asked that I sign a waiver to have them push the car out of the garage. I was unsure of this because there was only one guy. I haven’t used the car for two years, and I have insurance coverage for the car and it’s covered if it stays in the garage. If the car rolls into the road, it’s not covered. I was worried that one person might lose control when pushing the car, so I wanted two people: one to push and one to navigate. They gave an estimate of $750.00, but they never did give me anything in writing. I wanted to know exactly what had to be done. I called them to try to get a better idea of what was going to be included, such as tracks. My friend’s insurance company sent me a check, for “property damage to the garage door.” The tracks were bent so I wasn’t sure if that was covered, so I called the insurance company to double check. The insurance company wasn’t sure, so I called Overhead Door to figure out what had been written down for the quote. The lady, Sarah, said she didn’t know. The guy didn’t write anything down. I then asked if I could speak to her manager, and they gave me to Christy. When I asked her what her designation was to just figure out what she did for the company, she seemed offended. She spoke to me rudely and wasn’t helping, so I asked to speak to her manager so I could get some help. She said I could speak to Dan, the Director of Operations. 7pm last night he calls me and apologizes for him employees. I asked him what is on the estimate. Dan calls me back the next day, and says that they don’t want to do my job because of the car stuck in my garage. They didn’t want to mess with that, but if I could get the car out, they’d fix my door. I reminded him that the garage door was smashed in and I couldn’t get the door opened to remove the car. They made it sound like they didn’t want to do the project because of the car in the garage, but I think it’s because they didn’t like I was asking questions and asking them to be precise and tell me what was going to be happening: parts to be replaced, final bill, etc. I never did get a bill from them. I never saw anything in writing. They really were the most unprofessional people I’ve ever dealt with.

They did everything they were supposed to do, and the door has worked well since then.

Everything went just fine. It didn’t take them too long and they completed the adjustment well. It has worked ever since through the winter.

Called and was scheduled for the job in three days. Technician arrived at the appointed time, made the replacement, cleaned up and took old equiptment away, probably in about than 1 1/2 hours. PLeased that it all went so smoothly and the price was actually less than quoted by competitors. Quite satisfied.

The garage door spring broke when trying to open the door from the outside on Sunday, 2/7/10. Since we had one car available we opted to wait until Monday for the repair. We checked with two other companies and found that the price quoted by Overhead Door was a little bit higher than the others, however, the professionalism of the phone contact caused us to go with this company. They have been in the area a long time and have a good reputation as well as a high rating on Angies list. The company scheduled a repair window for Monday morning and a repairman arrived about 11:45. We had decided to replace the second spring as well as the broken one. The repairman checked out other places that can cause problems on the door. The broken spring was the only problem found. The work was completed in about an hour. we will use this company in the future if we have more problems with the door.

They did an excellent job. It was a good price, about half of another quote. They gave us a quote before they came out. There were no hidden cost. We would have them again in a minute.

Things went very good. He arrived within an hour of me calling. They didn’t promise that, but it was just great.

They are very good! Their prices I found to be more reasonable.

We picked up some doors and they came out and put them up. We didn’t like the look of them and they picked some more and came back and replaced them without any hassle.

Everyone from the scheduler on the phone to the technician were extremely professional. The technician made some recommendations for service to my garage door and told me based on the age of the door, which he'd recommend and which he thought were not necessary. He gave me a card that will allow for a discount on a future service call. Great service!

Service person called and arrived timely. Service person very friendly and described problem. Service worked efficiently to get job done very fast. Overall very professional service.

Garage door quit working Saturday. I call Overhead Door the following Monday morning and they said they would be out between 10 and 1. The repairman, Kevin, arrived prompty at 1130, checked out the problem - a stripped nylon gear - told me the options which were replace the gear or install a new unit. Since the opener was less than 7 years old, I chose to have the gear replaced. He quoted me the price and did the work in approximately 1/2 hour. He was very pleasant and professional.

When I called the company, the phone representative was in such a hurry, I had trouble getting details from her. But, I got same-day service, the technician arrived in the time slot they promised (3-6pm), and the GDO was fixed quickly to my satisfaction.

It was handled very well when I called in. They didn't say they would be right out. They were out just about when they said in a couple of hours. I couldn't go overnight without the door being able to shut. The service man's name was Eric. He was very knowledgeable, courteous and helpful.

We have a 3 car garage. When we bought this house, only 2 of the doors had garage door openers. The third one was manual. After 20 years, we decided to put an opener on it. We called them and they were the company who had put in the original 2 door openers. I also looked them up on Angie’s List. That is the work they did for us and we were very happy with it. The price was very good. It included a keypad on the outside of the garage. They also had to do some extra wiring to make that work. They put in a switch over by the entrance to our house which is across the whole distance of the garage. There was a little bit more involved but it was wonderful. I called them today because one of the older openers is not working correctly. They are going to come and look at that.

I got them from Angieslist and they had really good ratings. They told me what it would cost me and came when they said they would come. They fixed the problem real quickly.

The worker was very helpful. He did a professional job, to the point where he not only helped to program the keypad, he also programmed all of our vehicles. He was very neat and the garage doors are working perfectly!

It went well. Service tech was quick and efficient.

They gave me a good quote. They seemed to be more attentive then the other company I checked with. They seemed to have spent more time.

They responded to a problem that we had with a broken garage door by arriving within a couple of hours of my phone call. They identified the problem. The door was about 25 years old and so was everything else about it. They came back the next day and installed a new part. It has been working fine ever since. They had my door up and running within 24 hours. I was pleased with their service. If I recall correctly the price was about $240 after the discount, and more than half of that was labor charge. They actually do more than garage door work, and if I have any garage door or even other door needs I would probably contact them again. They were reasonably priced especially with the discount coupon.

They did a fine job. They did the job quickly and efficiently. I couldn’t compare the prices but I think it wasn’t unreasonable.

They gave us a quote on total door replacement, but we wanted to use what we already had. They said they would send someone out to give us an updated quote, but we never heard back from them.

The price seemed high but I think it was in line with the other people we spoke with. I thought they did a good job and it is still working well. The young man worked hard and didn’t goof around any.
