I noticed that one of the springs on my garage door had broken and called Overhead Door to do the repair. The repairman arrived on time and completed the repair without incident. He replaced both springs even though only one had broken because it was unlikely the other would have lasted much longer. They were both well past their average life. As a matter of standard procedure, he then serviced the door and performed a safety check to ensure everything was in proper working order before leaving. I was very pleased with his overall performance and professionalism. I graded the price as a "B" only because I think everything costs too much. I don't really know how their prices compare to their competitors.

Met with the salesman and was fairly pleased with the process and his efforts on my part. Installation was great. My only complaint would be the disconnect between the salesman's knowledge of the door and what was actually installed. Specifically, I questioned the salesman about how many support struts would be on the door and he told me two. However, when the installer came out, he explained that these particular doors only had a single support strut at the top and none at the bottom. I asked if we could add the extra strut, but the installation tech said that it would mess the door up to alter the manufacturers specifications and that the salesman was wrong in his representation to me about the struts. So, basically, what I was told and what I got were two different things. The doors are Clopay, though, and are very good quality for a fairly decent price with good warranty, and they appear to be installed properly. Overall I would say, it was a good experience.

They replaced our garage door openers in the past and we were pleased so we went back to them for the doors. I talked to the guy about doors, he showed me the products, he asked when I wanted it done, and 36 hours later we had our doors. The guy that came out was here for three hours and he was very good. There was one minor glitch with them but when we called them up they came out first thing the next morning. Our garage is probably 25 degrees warmer than it used to be. They were on par or cheaper than the other companies I contacted, but I was going to choose them as long as they were in the ballpark because they have always been responsive to us. They came out at exactly the time they said they would come out. We will use them again if we need it.

I called Overhead Door out to my home, my garage door, completely stopped working. I could not raise the door and none of my remotes would work. I called them and they came out the next day. Happy with the service, they fixed the issue and garage door works great. I have used them in the past and will contact them if i have any issues in the future.

It went great. They were honest and didn't try to oversell us on something that we didn't need. The pricing was reasonable and they were very professional. We would use them again.

I wanted to wait a while until I reported to see how it held up. It still works perfectly and I'm very glad I called them and will always call in the future with any issues around the garage door (doubt if I have too many since they fix everything perfectly on the first trip!!!)

A person came out and told me that the opener had to be replaced. The installer then got in touch with me and came out again to install a new opener. They were good in what they did and also fairly priced.

We had 2 broken garage door springs,and were stranded with both vehicles in the garage.It happened on a Sunday. OVERHEAD DOOR offers 24 hour emergency service which we declined, opting instead for a service call as early as possible the next day. The OD technician, JD, was able to get there about an hour earlier than the appointed time. JD was honest,business-like,and worked quickly and efficiently. He answered all our questions clearly and patiently. He was also very helpful with home maintenance suggestions, and made sure the entire system was in proper working order before he left. I will definitely do business with OVERHEAD DOOR again, and would highly recommend them.

The week before he came out and discovered I needed a plug close to the opener. We rescheduled and had no problems on 1/24/2011. Took a couple of hours and there were no problems. We have used their services before with no problems.

They were on time and did a great job. They were very friendly and went above and beyond for me. They even did things for me that I had not asked them to do. That extra work wasn’t included in the cost. Their price was pretty good.

When we called the company, they were very helpful and explained all potential charges. They offered 4 appointment times and agreed to call 30 minutes ahead. The serviceman was on time and quickly spotted the problem. He went about making the repair right away and finished very quickly. He took the time to explain everything in plain English.

They were very timely, courteous and did a good job.

They did a really good job. We had a free service call and that was the biggest benefit. They fixed the problem and also did a tune-up while they were out there at no extra cost. They tightened all the springs of the garage door. They did what was needed. They fixed the problem we were having as far as the repair was concerned. They oiled some stuff. It was really noisy, but it was quiet after they left. We didn’t actually have them come out to do all that stuff. There was one service man that came out. They were punctual. They were there when they said they would be. They weren’t late and they didn’t reschedule. We were happy with them. We had to just pay for the repair work.

They were really good. We spent about $1000 on that service. They came in and were able to do the work in one day. They showed us what was wrong and what was wrong with the other one and we were able to see that it was a really bad door we had. They put it together and showed me how they put it together and what to do afterward like to oil parts because it maybe squeaky.

Great. Bill was on time, did a great job, took time to explain the problem and quickly fixed it.

They came within a day of calling. They were very good. They fixed the problem right away, on site. They did give out a warranty for it.

I called them to get a quote, and they came out probably within two hours. They were very responsive. They were fast, professional, and competitive. The job went very well. I had actually used them years ago, so I had some experience. I was not disappointed this time either.

I was very pleasant with the service and would use them again.

I have not had the work done because I am thinking of incorporating it into a much larger project. Highly recommend Overhead Door

We received a very high estimate that included over designed elements (3" track and nylon rollers when only 2" were needed for an additional cost of $500) and over charged components ($625 for stainless steel cable when I was able to obtain the same parts for $60, $150 for cable drums that I found for $26, $150 for pulleys that I found for $16). I started asking to go with the 2" track and for them to allow me to purchase some of the components to which they agreed. This morning they sent me an email stating that my project was too risky and they no longer were going to do the work. The commercial operator that they recommended could not be installed in my residential home. My interpretation is that if they could not overcharge me, they did not want to do the project. Any one who works with Overhead Door needs to be aware of their practise to over design and over charge. In the end, all they did was waste two weeks on my project. I am comfortable that I can find a reputable contractor who will do the work for a fair price. What the provider has said about this being a design and not a financial decision can not be true in my view. This is because they offered me a quote based on the design which I could have signed making this a contract. It was only when I renegotiated on the over pricing of components that they claimed they would not do the project because of design flaws. I can say that I have independently completed the project for $1392 compared to their original quote of $2715 in hardware with an additional $160 per hour installation fee (more than your almost any professional fees). Over 50% savings and no safety issues have been encountered.

The repairman was polite, knowledgeable, efficient, and friendly. I could not have asked for better service.

On time and everthing went great. The new garage door opener is quiet and so small. They called to follow up to be sure that everthing was great. I would highly reccommend.

whole process went smooth from style/function selection, faux wood tint color selection to installation. they were very easy to deal with and their direct style was very much appreciated. compared to garage doors of indianapolis, they were wonderful!

The repair technician was on time and very professional. I was not there but, my wife said that he explained everything he was doing and why it was important to check.
