David from Overhead Door arrived shortly after we called. He informed me right away that the spring needed to be replaced on the garage door. I asked him if Overhead Door had a coupon available anywhere and he told me there was one in the phone book coupon section. I got the section out and could not find the offer he told me about, which was 10% off labor. He told me that it would save me $6.00. He looked through the coupons and told me he found a better one, which was was from a competitor. He told me they accepted competitor coupons and would take that one, giving me $10.00 off the total bill. So I saved even more, and I appreciate so much him telling me that! How nice that this company helps customers save money. I will definitely use them again.

They were quick to get out and they seemed very reliable and honest.

Work was done promptly and without any need for a call back. Workmen cleaned up afterwards completely. They made sure I understood all aspects of operating the new system. Father and son worked well together in providing excellent customer service.

They were straight shooters. They completed the services and did not try to sell me anything extra. I was satisfied with the visit.

We started out on Wednesday night to get our daughter from the airport and the when we pushed the door opener, the door opened about 1 foot and the beam from the opener to the top of the door started to bow. We tried again with same result. We could see the beam was twisted a little in the closed position and twisted it back and the door opened in time to make the airport run. Checked Angie's list on Thursday morning and saw Garage Door of Indianapolis was highly rated, so we gave them a call. The technician had 2 calls in front of us, but still arrived before lunch. His shirt had a 20 year service award and he mentioned that he had installed the original garage door openers in our development 25 years back. He opened the back door from the kitchen to the garage and immediately saw that one spring was broken. He fixed the spring and bearings and tested everything else. I asked him to check the rollers, the opener and the door itself. He could have sold me anything, but he was extremely honest and only repaired what was broken and no more. In addition to going great work, he had a great attitude. I was on my way out of town that evening and happy that my wife and daughter have a reliable garage door again!

The pricing was reasonable. The service was very fast. The work is holding up just fine.

They were the first company who did the work okay, but they tried to sell something more. I was happy with them and will use them again in the future.

Mechanic was on time, got to work quick, was pleasant to work with.

I was quoted $125.00 dollars to replace the battery and was told it would take two weeks to get it in. In addition, it would cost an $100.00 for the service call. I initially accepted the amount and scheduled an appointment. However, because that seemed a steep price for a battery replacement, I called other companies to get additional estimates. I canceled the service from this company. I ended up getting the battery replaced and my garage door routinely maintenanced for $85.00 and in less that one week from another provider..

They came and did a tune up on it and then couple of weeks later, the garage door stopped working as it some problem with one of the boards. They came back out, changed the board. They got out here pretty quickly and took care of it. The guy that they sent out did a good job though it took a while, he got it fixed. It was pricy. All in all they got out quick and got it fixed. Everyone I dealt with their company was nice. Only thing that irritated was that I was driving on to the airport and I had told them that I would pay after sometime but by the time my wife got home they had left a message saying that I had to make a payment. Usually I have dealt with companies were I had to pay $3000 and there was 30 days time but this was irritated. Other than that I was happy them and the guy that came out was very kind, got the work done and it was fine.

They did a good work. I have no complaints.

They were very good and on time. They didn't have the exact part I needed but they had it ready by the next day. I really appreciated that. They did a very good job and I was very happy with them. The workers were very nice and everything is holding up fine. Their price was the same as everybody.

I spent about $96 on that service. They were friendly, on time and they did what was needed.

At around 12:15 pm on New Year's Eve, our on-call technician called Overhead Doors of Indianapolis to come and repair a common garage door on one of the Condominium Communities that we manage. He was first put through the wringer by their answering service, then he referred to their Commercial Door technician on call who stated that it wasn't his type of door that he should have been referred to the residential technician. After three tries of calling their answering service back, he was able to speak to the residential technician who proceeded to tell him that he needed the commercial technician to come out. Residential technician said that he would contact the office to have the commercial guy call our oncall technician to schedule the repair. This was all on New Year's Eve. After waiting for an hour for anyone to call him, the technician finally called another company and they came out right away to make the repair. While our oncall technician was waiting for the new company to come to the community, the residential guy finally called to say that someone was on the way. Our technician told him to forget it, that he had called someone else. By this time it was after 4pm. Four hours after he had initially called them. To top it off, our technician was told by the Board President of the community that they wanted to get all of the doors of their common parking area replaced and that they would not be seeking a bid from Overhead Doors due to the horrible customer service that the community had received. They were ultimately serving our customer, the community and not us. This type of service is beyond reprehensible and not an acceptable way to do business no matter whether it was on New Year's Eve or not.

I had them come out to fix the sticking of the garage door. The service man stated that the paint on the word was causing this. We thought of what could work and I came up with using plastic tape between the garage door and the house and it work.

So far it's worked okay. I have an issue only because it was a new model that they've had problems with. This was the second time it needed replaced. They knew they had issues with it, but went ahead with it anyway. It's under warranty, but I wish they'll extend the warranty a little longer.

It went really well and we are happy with the service. We would use them again in the future.

They did a fantastic job and I didn't have any problems. They did an excellent job and I would use them again if I have a problem with my overhead door. It was a very good price for what I got.

The cost was less than I thought it would be. They were friendly, professional and right on target for the cost. They repaired it quickly and the repair was complete. They did what they were supposed to do in the way they were supposed to do it. I was very pleased.

Doors were ordered and arrived on-time. I stained the door sections and set a date/time for installation. Wood quality was excellent.. During the order/arrival/staining/installation process I dealt with several individuals: Rick Goecker, Sales, Dan Szolis, Director of Operations, Brian Raub, Field Supv., Jessica Eastman, Installation Services and Brian Eastman in the shop. Everyone was very professional/helpful to the point of being overly accommodating, which I appreciated throughout the project. This is a very professionally run organization focused on customer satisfacion and excellent customer service. I am very pleased with all aspects of the product and services rendered by this company!
