My sewing room had become totally disorganized and used has a catchall. I needed to get the room straightened out so could use it for sewing again. Time 2 Declutter was very helpful and efficient in getting my sewing room back in order so it could be used the way I had always intended for it to be used.

Becky came to my home for two days. She was respectful, focused, kind and, especially, did not judge. She did not stop working the entire time she was with me and even worked while she ate lunch. However, she did encourage me to sit and rest when I needed to. Becky did an outstanding job, my home is organized and looks great. I definitely recommend Time 2 Declutter.

It was Friday the Thirteenth and my LUCKY DAY! Becky arrived on the dot of 9 for a six-hour stint at clearing the mess in my Loom Room. Many years of accumulated stuff is now manageable. Becky is a taskmaster. She kept me moving so I didn't dwell on the emotion of rediscovering items that held memories. That's what I've needed for years. I'm very grateful for her stamina. I needed that to get through this. It was more difficult than I had anticipated. We ran across parts of my life going back 75 years. There are so many facets of my life packed in those boxes that I now can show my grandchildren. It was fun, it was agonizing, it was cathartic.
Description of Work: The Clutter-Room is filled with looms, spinning wheels, baskets, boxes, bales of wool spinning fibers, plus the tools and toys associated with those crafts. Becky started just inside the doorway, and, step by step, collected, cataloged, packed for whatever final distribution is intended. There were boxes filled, trash baskets filled, and everything on one half of that room cleared out.

This was a very good experience working with Becky. She has a nice way about her and that helped me get over my discomfort at letting her see my cluttered room. Becky had a plan and we dove in. The six hours we spent together were informative and helpful. I would not hesitate to call in her the future if I reach another impasse.

Becky arrived on time; ready with supplies for organizing the rejects. We did a review of our game plan and she got the ball rolling. She brought clothing items from the closets in manageable groupings to another room in the house and we went through them one at a time. She held them up and I reacted with a yes - keep, no- trash or no- donate. What was great was that she also noted my facial and physical responses to items and we talked about when my face said no, but I verbally said yes to keep something. That's what we really need to determine our gut reaction to an article of clothing we have held onto for 10 or 20 years even. She gave me permission to decide what I wanted and not what a family or friend would want me to do. There were a couple of items that I wasn't ready to part with-and that was ok, too. Overall, we filled 8 bags of clothes that had been taking up space. When she left I had 2 empty drawers, my clothes were hanging freely and there was shelf space. Peace!!
Description of Work: I needed to go through 2 double door closets and 8 drawers of clothing that were cluttering up the space. I participated in the Angie's List BIG Deal that offered 4 hours of decluttering for a discounted price. The owner communicated with me to set up the appointment and confirm what I needed done.

When Becky first arrived I was so nervous about her judging my current living situation but she was non judgmental and kind. She was so understanding of the situation of being a busy mom and simply just being overwhelmed by everything. She came prepared with supplies to get busy. We focused on one room at a time and got rid of so much stuff. She never pressured me to get rid of anything but helped me think through if I really used it or needed it. It was so helpful to have an objective person like Becky help work through the mess. As we were going through and organizing Becky kept me on task and helped me to focus and get done what needed to be done. The toy room that we worked on was one of the most difficult rooms because we just had so much stuff! My daughter was home that day which turned out to be great because Becky helped her go through all her toys and get rid of so much. She was so good with my daughter. To this day my daughter talks about Becky and how she helped our family so much! Time to De-Clutter is a great company and I highly recommend using them! It really hit me when after Becky came and my daughter was in her toy room playing by herself for two hours! Sh had not really done this since I can remember. It's amazing how having fewer toys allowed her to do this.

Calling Time 2 Declutter changed my life!! Our attic, which sits above our 3 car garage was packed full with all things that come along with having 3 kids in 3 years; clothes, books, games, toys, household items...you name it, we had it! Having a garage sale was our motive to "clean up", however, when I approached the attic, I found the task daunting and overwhelming. I didn't know where to begin. That's when I looked on Angie's List and found Time 2 Declutter. Time 2 Declutter helped me and my home go from chaos to calm. The time spent with Becky Gaynor going through the magnitude of items and separating what I actually "wanted" and what I could "let go of" changed not only my life, but the way I now separate our belongings. I am no longer burdened by what to do with things. Time 2 Declutter taught me the difference between "a keeper" and a "let it go". I can still hear Becky saying, "Surround yourself with the things you love" and "let go of the things you don't love or what doesn't hold a special place in your heart"! Today I can walk inside my attic and know exactly where anything and everything is. Every item is labeled and in a bin and accessible. Our garage sale was a HUGE success because of Becky. We paid for her service and still profited hundreds of dollars. Most importantly, our functional and organized attic allows us to live in peace and harmony; thanks to Time 2 Declutter!
Description of Work: Time 2 declutter helped me go through every single thing in my attic to determine if I wanted to keep, give away or sell each thing. Becky arrived with all the materials we would need; bags, labels, tape, boxes. We started by going through one category at a time. Time 2 Declutter had me go through every item to determine what was staying and needed to be put in a bin or what was going to to the garage sale. I could have never done this without Time 2 Declutter! I am so grateful and privileged to have worked with such a professional organization!!

She took clothes out in batches. I told her what I wanted to keep/what to pitch ( she brought bags) She grouped types of clothing, pants, sweaters, dresses. Made groups for Goodwill, Florida, try on later, etc Very helpful in asking pertinent questions as in "how long has it been since you have worn this." Put everything back in closet. Put discards in bags. Laid out things I needed to try on later. We worked like dogs, but it was fun and she and I accomplished in 4 hours what would have taken me days. I added to the Goodwill things I later tried on and determined were either out of style or no longer fit. Took 7 bags to Goodwill!!! Becky is a delightful person with whom to work. She leads without ordering, is motivating, and keeps things going. I would recommend her to everyone who has trouble with clean-outs!!!
Description of Work: Becky was wonderful. She contacted me to set up the visit. I wanted to clean out my main closet. We determined a time; she sent advance information about the visit. We reconnected to clarify directions, as there is a detour in my area. She was delayed by traffic in rainy weather and called to advise me of that. ( not a problem) She helped immensely in cleaning out a closet that I had been avoiding for ages! She didn't make suggestions, but had many motivating remarks, positive in nature. She put back in the closet everything I decided to keep, arranged by color and type of clothing. I highly recommend her service.

Upon seeing the services that Time2DeClutter performs, our household decided to contact her as we were ready to get our house back. Cleaning, laundry and organization had taken a back seat to what we had been through in the last year. Becky responded the day we contacted her and fit us in within a few days. We worked 8.5 hour days for about 4 days per week for 2 weeks. The wonderful thing about Becky is that SHE does so much of the work- in our household we have a disabled person, who was really unable to manage her rooms. In that case Becky lifted things, carried bags for donation/consignment, etc. where the disabled person just could not. She was able to keep up as she could sit, make decisions and allow Becky to organize. The work is not for the faint of heart. You need to be READY and WILLING to let go of things that you do not need. Becky is not a cleaning service. All of the decisions are up to you. Is it hard work- at times very. You may cry at the idea of letting go of certain items that have a sentimental value to you- that's ok. You may have to think overnight about letting go of something that is close to your heart, but taking up valuable/needed space. In my case- I got rid of close to 50 pairs of shoes! However, when you see the end result-which is a BEAUTIFUL, organized space-you will feel an overwhelming relief instead of that little voice in your head that says "I need to be cleaning that room." Becky gives such great advice. Teaches you tools on remaining organized and keeps you motivated with her upbeat personality and outgoing spirit. She is a joy to have in your home!

After I purchased the "Big Deal", I got a call from Becky. She asked if I wanted to double my time because it takes a full day to do a room. I took her up on it thinking we could take care of the whole basement in a full day. But Becky was right it took a full day and then some. She arrived at 8:00 A.M. and left at 6:30 P.M. We sorted through boxes and shelving organizing Christmas, Halloween, Easter, Camping, China, Luggage and general hardware, tools and paint. There were things in the basement I had wanted to get rid of but didn't have a resource to do it. Becky arranged for a company to pick up things to be donated, things to be salvaged and hazardous chemicals the next day. The room looked great and it felt so good to get it all taken care of within two days. For the first few days afterward I kept going down to the basement to admire our work. Becky is very knowledgeable and kind in her approach to helping you declutter. In addition she is an awful lot of fun to work with.

It was great. It took 10 hours of continuous work, but the results were worth it. Becky knew just the right questions to ask as she helped sort through shelf after shelf and box after box of items. She didn't impose her will, just offered lots of great ideas and was positive and enthusiastic throughout the process. I will definitely have her back to help me attack another area in my home.
Description of Work: A large area of my basement was decluttered and reorganized. This included loading my car with things to take to Goodwill, boxing things for children, taking out bags of trash, and recycling paper and plastic.

The owner of Time 2 Declutter has fantastic personality and energy level perfect for being able to perform this service. She communicated very clearly before my appointment about what to expect, and how to prepare. She showed up precisely on time, and we went right to work. I appreciated how organized, logical, practical, generous, sensitive, and concerned she was toward the task in front of us. I expressed my goal for the time allotted, and we met it! (Had I needed extra time, it would have been available, and that was explained to me before we began) Not only is newly cleaned physical space now clearly organized, but I realize that I went through a mental catharsis as well, thanks to her encouragement to describe memories, and her non-judgemental attitude. I had a lot of boxes and bags of leftover stuff from 2 previous moves which I hadn't dealt with. Becky helped organize and discard things so my garage is functioning again. She is energetic and cheerful and made the day a lot more pleasant than it could have been. No one likes to go through clutter. She never pushed me to discard items, but when I was uncertain, she offered good advice. And she didn't even wince at the evidence of a mouse fest in the corners of the garage. They had found my birdseed and had a big party and didn't clean up after themselves. No mice were seen, thank heavens. (I'm sending the cat out there to patrol regularly now.) I discarded 8 big garbage cans worth of unusable stuff, plus several items that I put to the curb and they disappeared shortly after. I took two carloads of usuable items to Good Will. And I have plenty of room to walk and work in the garage now. I was very pleased with Becky's service, and plan to use her again when I"m ready to declutter the bedroom.

We worked on an overfilled walk-in closet with primarily memoribilia and photos. Becky was willing to work past the time of 4 hours (One of Angie's List special deals) until we completed the project at an hourly charge. She was very professional, came in well-prepared, provided lots of reinforcement as we worked and we worked hard. Everything is now reboxed and photos separated into photo boxes. I can walk easily and safely into the closet to find what I need as I move to the next step of albums. Becky is also a very good listener, and lots of good advice. I've always wanted to try an organizer, and I could not have been more pleased than with Time 2 Delutter. Excellent job! I would use her again in a minute and will recommend her to friends.

Working with Becky was a very positive experience! Becky was full of energy & had great ideas/suggestions. Her work was thorough & she was very pleasant to work with. Fabulous to work with!!! Time 2 Declutter helped me to let go of things that had been in my storage/closet for almost a decade! I did not feel pressure at any time to get rid of things, but soon into the process I was very motivated to send items to charity and get rid of more. I am looking forward to hire her again in the near future!!!
Description of Work: Decluttering and downsizing my possessions. She provided containers to sort items, boxes for the donations and all other supplies needed. I liked that she asked me always whether I wanted to keep an item or let it go. Therefore, I never felt intimidated. It was a wonderful experience! I was so excited about my new space that after the job was finished I keep staring at my space because it felt great to finally have order!!
