I had purchased a certificate for Organize with Becky through an online auction that she had donated her services to and I had forgotten to use it before it expired, luckily when I contacted Becky for an exception she was happy to accommodate my request to honor the certificate. I was very impressed with Becky's professionalism and skill in working me through the process (my areas that needed organizing had accumulated over 20+ years from a busy life and I desperately needed help). Before the appointment Becky sent out information on how to prepare for her visit (bottom line was she assured me that she would have everything that was needed to get the job done when she arrived - and she delivered just that for sure!). I was very impressed with the skill that Becky had in orchestrating the day, bags and boxes were laid out and marked for trash, recycle, donate and keep. With Becky's help we donated or recycled well over 30 bags of items and miraculously had only 1 bag of trash. I was so happy with Becky's work that I had her come back for a second day later that same week. She is an amazing motivator to help you get the work done! The before and after photos tell the story (before I would go into those rooms and just close the doors...now when I go in those rooms I can smile and breath easily and find exactly what I am looking for!) I was totally overwhelmed and somewhat depressed trying to decide what to do with all the "stuff" I had accumulated for many years. Becky came in and boosted my spirits big time. She set up bags for donations, recycle and trash. We started in basement which was a mess. By the time we were done there, I couldn't believe how much we had accomplished. Went to bedrooms, cleaned closets, then garage and attic. She was here for two days, we filled practically two Salvation Army trucks, donated books to local library and I felt wonderful. I would recommend her without question anytime.

Becky was awesome! She did a great job of communicating in advance to prepare me for the day. We went through all the closets in the bedrooms to sort clothes (keep or donate). Becky set up a simple system to get clothes organized and help keep them that way. She was very supportive, organized and professional throughout the project.

Angie's List issued us a refund. I was very dissatisfied with my interactions with Becky and would not use her services.
Description of Work: I bought an Angie's List deal for a decluttering session. Becky and I exchanged voice mails for several weeks, but we were unable to find a time for her to come help. The deal expired without us being able to schedule anything.

She was extremely helpful. We worked together and all I had to do was decide to keep, discard or donate the item and she did the rest. She loaded items in bags and put them either in my trash or in my car for me to donate. She had good ideas about how to organize things. She moved shelves in my cabinets for me - she was awesome! We worked at my pace and got more accomplished in those 2 days than I could have gotten done by myself in a month.

Becky helped me organize my garage. She was very energetic and positive. Within an hour, I realized I had made a great decision to hire her as oppose to try to work through it myself. It would have taken me at least 3 or 4 full Saturdays to get through all that and would not have had the advice on how to group things in the garage to fit my lifestyle. I also may have been indecisive about getting rid of things. She helped me think through the decisions on what to keep or donate and I am so glad to have gotten rid of so much. She also offered tips along the way that I have found myself using in other areas of the house. The kids are also very excited about the change in the garage! :) Before we scheduled the appointment, she asked a lot of questions to get an idea of what I was needing help with and I really appreciated that because it got me thinking ahead of our appointment. Becky is very professional and comes with her own supplies. She had things organized so that we worked in a very efficient manner. I can't wait till we tackle our outdoor shed. I have been planning to clean out and organize that garage for a very long time and even when I have spent a couple hours, I have not quite gotten the same results. It really was money well spent!

Becky was, absolutely, a joy to work with! I cannot say enough how amazing my kitchen looks and flows now. We just moved into a new home, which has a beautiful kitchen. The problem was that I lost more than half of my previous pantry space. I had no idea where to place things in my cabinets to make the kitchen flow well. Becky came in and worked with me and my personality to help place everything into an order that works for my family. She found space that I never could have on my own! Now my tiny pantry is perfect, as well as my cabinet space! I cannot say enough how much this has created a fabulous workspace for me, as well as relieved the stress of clutter.

Becky was absolutely heaven sent! She was truly an angel to work with. In the beginning, I was skeptical about hiring an organizer. In doing so, it would be too invasive. However, I was so overwhelmed. I KNEW I needed help. Therefore, I sought an organizer to de-clutter my home. GOD KNEW what I needed. HE sent me her. She was at the top of Angie's list. From the initial call, I explained my situation. She made me feel at ease. In a selfless act, she scheduled my appointments during her vacation. When she arrived, she was very energized and positive. She was very understanding and sympathetic of my situation. Most importantly, she was NOT judgmental. She divided the project into small sections. Therefore, I wasn't visually overwhelmed. She was very patient. She encourages breaks while she continued to work. During our time together, she gave me tips on maximizing my space. Also, she educated me about the benefits of recycling! By recycling, I would help various organizations in the community. We donated several bags to local facilities (ex Goodwill & Julian Center). By paying it forward, I felt good about helping others who are less fortunate. Not to mention, it's a good tax right off! As I stated earlier, Becky was heaven sent! Generally, there's a reason behind the clutter. As one de-clutters, it can be very emotional. As a motivational speaker, she was absolutely wonderful!!! As a Christian, she was EXTRAORDINARY!!!!!! She is very respectful of others beliefs. She does not impose her views on anyone. As a Christian, I welcomed them. While removing the clutter in my physical home, she indirectly de-cluttered my spiritual and mental home. Helping me to restore peace and order in my life. For that, I am forever grateful! :) I would definitely recommend her to others.

Before the organizer came I figured out what areas I wanted to focus on and tried to get everything ready so it would go faster. The organizer came on time and ready to work. We decided which are caused the most distress and started organizing. We were able to conquer 3 messy areas in only 6 hours. She gave me assignments such as helping me load up my car and donating them right away, and taking some things that belonged to other people to them before the end of the day. I did those things. After she left I spent several weeks going through some papers and books and using her techniques to conquer others messy areas of my house.
Description of Work: I knew I needed help with my clutter problem but I didn't know how much. I was afraid that a bunch of people would come and look at my personal stuff but was relieved to see one organizer come to my door. The one on one support felt good and it was not too overwhelming. I was ready for a new start and I was amazed at how your tips helped me get rid of things that were not making me happy anymore. I have been bragging about my craft closet and basement for some time now. Everything is so easy to find and I have not cluttered it with anything. I can't believe that I got rid of 9 bags of stuff and I have not missed it. I also did not have to go out and buy any storage because afterwards I had two cubicle shelves and 3 storage containers that were completely empty, not to mention the dozen or so storage boxes. Plus, getting rid of two bags of trash and recycling stuff was amazing too. I felt very motivated to continue and the tips that you gave me were wonderful. Since you have left I spent several weeks on a roll. I organized the books, the bedroom closet, and the living room. I even organized the kids rooms with the "new" shelves that I had from decluttering. Everything is so easy to clean now. I still need to go through some shelves in my kitchen and another closet but overall you really got me going. I don't have to spend my weekends feeling overwhelmed by the chaos. I just spend like an hour or so a day doing daily house maintenance and throw in some de-cluttering time and little by little it is looking great. I have invited several people over and have a new goal of filling my house with joy and friendships. I hardly ever invited people over in the past because of the stress and shame that I felt over all of the messes everywhere, so this is a new and wonderful feeling for me. I also love how happy and relaxed my kids seem, but that could have more to do with how happy and relaxed I feel now. One more thing, my husband and I have been on some dates because I am not embarrassed to have a babysitter come over. That thing you said about kids being happier with less pertains to me too. Becky arrived at my home armed with all her tricks of the trade and the energy to get me motivated to tackle the most difficult areas of my home. With her help I was able to organize, clear out and repurpose several items as well as put together 11 bags full of items for donation. She had an emphasis on being green, trying to recycle, donate or repurpose instead of throwing items in the trash which I completely agreed with. Her enthusiasm and rational thinking also helped me decide what do do with items that I had been emotionally attached to but no longer loved. Most importantly for me she respected my boundaries. I was initially nervous about how much I would "need" to throw out but Becky made the day about me and my needs. I had areas of my home that pained me to look at them, we have a smaller house with not a lot of storage, and now I smile when I see what we accomplished.

Becky arrived energetic and focused, just what I needed. Once we discussed the peculiarities of what we needed to do, she dove into work, helping to keep me focused and getting things done that had long lain incomplete. All supplies were included in the price -- labels, garbage bags, etc. She was flexible about time, since I was unsure about how long I could go on with the project, but she made sure that she gave me the full time allotted, and she allowed me to take breaks while she kept working. Her energy was fantastic, her focus right on target. After she left, every time I entered the room on which we worked, I got a little shock of un-recognition -- it looked so completely different! I would definitely use her again!
Description of Work: Becky helped organize and clear out a completely chaotic kitchen, dining room, and breakfast area. I had one extra helper for about an hour, who sat and went through some boxes of papers and other junk.

Becky spent two days at my house doing 4 hour sessions each day. She brought all of her own supplies and wasted no time getting right to business. Working together we were able to organize 4 very messy and overly stuffed closets and spaces in my house. When we were done I felt so good... I was able to actually see and get to everything we had organized. And the added bonus was that Becky helped me load up my car with items for Goodwill and also took a load in her own car as well.
Description of Work: Becky really lit a fire under my pants! I had two closets one walk in and one coat, plus a cubby area and craft and wrap area that were in serious need of oraganization. Becky was prompt, very professional, and we actually had a lot of fun working together the two days she came out to my house. I honestly have to say I'm such a procrastinator that I might not have gotten around to getting any of these areas totally cleaned up and organized. Backy really kept me focused on the task at hand. She also had great storage ideas. If you need someone to steer you in the right direction and offer an extra pair of helping hands she is the right gal!

We started by removing most of the clothing from the master bedroom closet and sorting our fall/winter clothing from spring/summer. It was a great, motivating experience. I feel like I needed this jump start in order to keep my closets better organized. We didn't get as far as I would have liked in the time slot we had.

Becky, My wife and I tackled years of accumulation. It was a great experience. Becky never made me get rid of anything that didn't REALLY need to go, except my food! She is pleasant and if you WANT to REALLY do something like this, prepare yourself mentally for accepting new ways and dive in. She is not a maid, I would say more of a "Organizational Hero" and you will love the outcome. We got rid of a BUNCH of stuff, and gained personal harmony and peace. I have kids, so that doesn't last long. Now I know how to conquer any pile! I can't believe how much it adds up as you go. I will use her services again :)

It was an extremely unusual situation. We had a clutter of issues for sometime so we called them. We were forced to do a decluttering on a particular day and I was fortunate that she got in and did it. On a particular Thursday in October we were having a crew to demolish for a new bathroom remodeling and for tearing down a wall and the room that we used as store room which used to be our master bedroom. It even extended to the other side in the kitchen. That was not only the day we started the demolition but that’s the day we were on vacation. So we were out of the house when the demolition was going on. Although we decided on priority to get these rooms done for some reason my wife decided she is going to do another room. I told to forget it and I was dealing with getting rid of her stuff. I had a bad knee too. They were asking to declutter stuff and my wife was not happy about it. They were kind of pushing to declutter stuff. I can’t lift stuff to declutter because of my knee. I dumped this on her last minute and told her all of these deadlines and she agreed to help. It was kind of an intense experience and I had to be careful not to have painful memories. On Wednesday when she came in the afternoon I did the lifting and hurt my knee worse. We left that afternoon to have my knee x-rayed. We got to my wife’s place in Hawaii and Friday afternoon I get a call in the morning to come on Monday for a surgery. I was dealing with all of this kind of mixed up stuff and the next day after that I am carrying luggage and was trying to sit in the aeroplane for 12 hours. She really did work hard and she did what she is said she was going to do. The price what we paid was fair. She dealt with a lot of difficult stuff. There was a lot of arguing and discussion going on like I want this and don’t want this. As to responsiveness it was part of her job and she explained it upfront that she will not necessarily take our decisions. It is a part of her job to dispute our decision. She looks at our situation with a fresh eye. It was kind of a advisor situation, like what a financial advisor would tell me if I really don’t need to get another big screen TV, and I may not like that. It is her job to dispute our wishes to make sure the customer is doing things in a thoughtful way and she did do that and she did say that she is going to do that. I had 2 pickup trucks full of stuff that I didn’t need.
