Becky did a great job of keeping everything on track and assisting me in moving out of my home. I felt overwhelmed but with Becky's system and her steadfast help, I was able to more efficiently and effectively move out of my home, all within a 3-day period. Great! Becky arrived with a huge smile, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude. In a kind, supportive, and nonjudgmental way, she helped me sort through a huge reserve of paperwork, overloaded shelves and files. She provides all the supplies needed to complete the project and the help to make decisions for keeping, donating, and just getting rid of what's not needed at all. Our closet transformation was nothing short of miraculous! Becky was gentle yet firm in helping me make decisions about every item. I can now see and find whatever I need. Our garage was in dire need of sorting through many accumulated and unneeded items and putting what was left into order. Our next project is the attic! Becky is just wonderful!

She did an excellent job organizing everything. She's also helped with deciding what to keep and through out. Also, she is a life coach and helped me personally. I would recommend her to anyone. Trying to do this alone is excruciatingly difficult and she helped tremendously. My husband passed away, and she again had been very helpful during a difficult time. She came out to help me go through his things and decide what to keep and what to get rid of. I can not express enough what she has meant to me and how wonderful she was for me during this process. It has been a rough couple of years and she had been there for me and helped me through this all. She saved my life! She was there for me beyond helpful and Amazing can not even describe what a blessing she is to me. I think she could help people with anything they are going through she is more than a business she is very personable and she cares about her customers.

Becky was available to work with my varying schedule. She helped me sort through a closet full of accumulated clothing in a friendly and non-judgmental way. She processes the "why I'm keeping that item" mentality with me and helps me with better organizational methods! Becky's very caring and gives thoughtful ideas as to what works best for the person she is helping. I have had her back several times because she's so helpful with the 'decluttering' process. I would recommend Becky to anyone needing to declutter!

Becky is an amazing person! She is incredibly delightful, enthusiastic, and her disposition never waivers from the second she comes in the door until she finishes her day! Her organizational skills are outstanding. She brings many of the supplies with her (bags, labels, signs, markers, tape, etc.). You provide boxes, bins, and crates if needed for your project. Becky worked with me over the course of several weeks to get our home ready to put on the market. We systematically made it through our entire home. Even in the most overwhelming areas, Becky would keep the mood light, and show me how to break a huge project into smaller do-able parts. She worked right along with me the entire time. She is as much a life coach as a professional organizer, and helps you sort through the emotional and physical challenges of parting with a lifetime of treasures, and re-organizing things you are keeping to make your household run more smoothly. She is very intuitive and has great insight into reading her clients needs. I would highly recommend her services, and will not hesitate to use her again in the future!
Description of Work: Becky helped me go through every closet, drawer, box, cabinet, cubby, and garage in our home to sort what we would take to goodwill, what we would auction, what we would put in storage, and what we would keep at our home to stage it until it sold.

This is the second time I have had Becky help me. She is wonderful. She is upbeat and full of energy. She is also kind and respectful of my wishes. After clearing out a large space, we went through many boxes of old things and a wardrobe of old clothes. I probably could have done this myself except it just wasn't happening. She helped me stay focused and organized items in bags for trash, recycling, and donating. Plus she took all the bags out of the basement! It was a very liberating experience.

It went great. After two days we had made significant progress. We finished the remainder of the work on our own. Without Becky kick starting our effort, we would still be where we were several months ago. It is hard work, but Becky has a great sense of humor and the days went quickly. She is high energy and we got more done in a day than I anticipated we would. She is very good in helping you work through what should be retained and what should be sold or donated. Helping us work through the decision process on items we had been retaining was most valuable.
Description of Work: Becky helped us begin organizing a lifetime of stuff. We have moved at least six times and each time we packed things up and moved to the next house. These moves were over 30 years. When Becky arrived we were hopelessly lost in the storage area of our basement.Becky is very organized and she immediately had us making decisions on stuff that we would not have actioned quickly on our own.

Angie's List: this review is for service from 3 1/2 years ago. Organize With Becky’s multiple attempts to contact the party have all been unanswered. OWB has requested to post before and after pictures, but the technology is not set up to do so. This job was for a ‘laundry room’ which also served to a vast amount of items. These items were numerous in categories and can make it more difficult for the homeowner to sort and decide. The client elected to stop at the pre-scheduled time; finishing the project would be at their discretion. OWB maintains 100% readiness and willingness to help!

Over the course of 3 visits, Becky did an amazing job helping us transform our LR, FR, kitchen and master bedroom into a totally decluttered and organized areas which made the house look like a new house. Becky is very friendly and is super funny. She has a special talent in motivating you to get the job done right. She far exceeded any and all our expectations and we will definitely use her in the future. And she motivated our 2 kids to work on special jobs just for them. The kids loved her so much that they hugged her when she left! She did an amazing job bringing our china cabinet back to life. Becky gets right beside you and helps do the work and get the job done! Her price for a day did seem a bit high but you really do get what you pay for and she is totally worth it. Becky asked us what we wanted to accomplish when we first met...I said we wanted to have our home look all neat and clean like a nice hotel...and now we have that! Becky is a wonderful person and her energy and enthusiasm make the experience enjoyable and fun!
Description of Work: Over 3 visits, Becky worked with our family to declutter and organize the living room, family room, kitchen and upstairs master bedroom. She also assisted our kids in donating and organizing their rooms and sorting family pictures and making memory boxes.

She is very good. I highly recommend her. She will pack your stuff up but it is your responsibility to get rid of it. She won't do any of that because she does want the responsibility of someone from the back saying, you put my million dollar ring in that bag. My wife was happy to have this stuff done. I will most definitely use her again.

Absolutely terrific service. My kids are both accumulators, and over the course of years their bedrooms had essentially become impassable. My efforts to clean the rooms with them were proving frustrating, as well as very slow going. Becky swept in and helped me organize the rooms in one day. She was positive, efficient, organized (of course!), and all in all a joy to work with. The before and after pictures are nothing short of remarkable. This is not an inexpensive service, but it was definitely worth it. I will use her services again.

'Becky with Organizing' is awesome. Becky taught me that organizing isn't just putting things in different places to make them look neatly stored. She takes professional organizing to an amazing level. Becky's ideas for repurposing items, creating space, making items really accessible, and to look tidy and clean was where her expertise far exceeded my expectations. Becky is considerate, thoughtful, and not a 'here's-what-you-should-do-with-that' person. Becky's professional approached led me to make comfortable choices. I could give example after example;-but, then I want others to have the fun of discovering just what Becky's does. I can't resist one example, however. I had a large item that was not getting used. It was dirty and I knew I had to get rid of it. I really didn't want to. Becky found a way to clean it and repurpose it in a creative way that totally fits me to a tea! Becky, you are awesome and I can't wait for us to tackle more areas. Thank you, so much

We had a big project to do in a small amount of time, and Becky managed to tackle a huge amount of my room! We trashed 3 bags, several bags of recycling, and 16 total bags of stuff to donate! She was responsive, easygoing, and very good at pointing me in the right direction and letting me do the decision making. I couldn't have asked for a better or more productive experience!

Don't even think about hiring anyone else. Becky is just as amazing as everyone says she is (see the numerous other glowing reviews). Truly one of the best professionals/workers I have ever hired. I didn't know what to expect when I called Becky and asked her if she could help me clean out a huge storage space in my basement that was filled to the brim with stuff accumulated over several moves to different houses and many decades. But, luckily, she was available immediately and was able to fit my schedule. Becky stayed with the job until it was completed. And even though we had originally only planned on working together Thursday and Friday, as things progressed it became clear that more days would be necessary. So she worked with me on Saturday, and on Monday (which was supposed to be the start of her vacation). People tend to go on and on about how Becky works, and for good reason. I'll just echo that she is a wonderful person, completely competent, fun to work with, and understands how to be not just an organizer of things (although she does that well), but also a confidente and counselor as you sort out the emotional attachment to those things. After the end of four long days together, I felt that I had not only accomplished my original goal of cleaning out my basement, but that I was also privileged to have had her help. Becky is the "real deal".

Great! We had accumulated many things and had never felt settled after moving several times for work. She helped to sort through the difficult areas and made us feel much more settled in. Becky is amazing. She taught me priceless lessons about organization and decluttering I will use forever. It was an emotional process and she provided a lot of support I needed. I wasn't prepared for the emotions I went through but she was and it helped tremendously. She is very personable and nonjudgemental. She takes her work very seriously and is quite sensitive while remaining professional. She's full of positive energy which was so helpful because I was dreading doing all we did, but actually got excited about it and began looking forward to it after being around her and seeing the progress we were making. I wasn't healthy enough to do it all and was feeling overwhelmed, but she took control, came up with a plan, set goals for us and pressed me to make decisions I needed to make. I began looking forward to her coming in the mornings so we could get started. I was able to trust her after being with her a couple of days and allowed her to make decisions for me when I needed to take breaks and rest. My dad wasn't well so when we did his house she set him up comfortably wherever we were and had him tell us what to keep. If he wasn't with us, she would take items to him and ask. FoBecky was a little expensive but I think it was the best money I've ever spent due to how much we did, but also how many skills she taught me. Learning all I did has changed the way I live. I'm an organized person now and I wasn't before I met her - not because didn't want to be, but because I didn't know how to make some tough decisions or be efficient when organizing, so it took a lot of time. Now, I don't dread tasks and can even say it's easy for me because I've learned how to put a plan together. People even comment on how organized I am and conaider me to be an organized person. I made some I apologize this is so long but I have 1 more thing to say. I was able to make some $ because she had a consignment shop pick up some items she knew were worth something. She knew what was best to donate and what was best to sell, so although I thought it was pricy, the $ I made because of her helped pay the fee. Afterwards, I received a personal gift from her. It was obvious she realized what was important to me. Becky is worth every dime!
Description of Work: Becky helped me dispose of items I didn't need but held onto for several years because I felt guilty getting rid of. She also helped me go through several boxes in my spare bedroom that I was using as a storage room for items I didn't need but hadn't gone through to get rid of because of becoming very ill. It was too much to take on alone while recovering. In addition to my items, she helped me go through my Dad's garage and house. We got rid of many unnecessary items that were taking up space he had accumulated over several years.

I'm still surprised at how much we accomplished & I'm glad we only spent 4 hours instead of trying to do more in one day. It is tiring because we went rather quickly & there are a lot of decisions as to what to donate, discard, try on or keep. Becky provided all the bags & labels. I stayed in one area & she brought me armload after armload of clothes; so, she actually did a lot more of the physical work by running back & forth & then folding all the clothes to donate & bagging them up. She also gave me step by step direction from my house to a donation site, plus a printed form that I can fill out & have the worker person sign so I can submit it with my taxes next year.
Description of Work: I bought 8 hours of organizing service on an Angie's List Big Deal & I really did get a bargain. We used up 4 hours in March & are scheduled for the remaining 4 hours in April. We went through 3 closets & ended up with 7 bags of clothes, shoes, belts & handbags to donate.

Becky came to my house to help me organize. Unlike some people, I didn't have one particular room or know exactly what I wanted her to do, so I explained to her that I definitely needed to work on the garage but that I'd also like some help knowing how to organize various items and what the best way to organize these areas (projects/office items/sewing/crafts and etc.) Though I felt like I was tossing a bunch of uncertainties into the air and dropping them on her, she listened, asked questions, and together we talked through some of them. We landed on focusing on the garage area because that was where I had placed my bins and boxes of projects, donation items, and so on. She was great about keeping the focus on one area at a time. We sorted through half of the garage, determining what stayed, what went and where, while working through what's important and what my goals are. Though I'm certainly not a hoarder, I hadn't realized how many things I'd accumulated and how unfinished projects can weigh us down. I joked with her about whether this was organization or therapy. She talked about that a bit, explaining that she sees the process as therapeutic. It seemed so. Though I would have like to have gotten everything in order and in place, that hope was unrealistic for the amount of time. We weeded through many items, discussed organization strategies, tossed and donated and even recycled many items! We also planned next steps for reorganizing the projects and supplies to which I wanted a better system with more convenient access. Becky has a knack for seeing organizational possibilities that some of us may not have developed. And sometimes, I suppose, we're too close to the stuff to see a different way of looking at it. That may seem overly philosophical but, Becky does look beyond the task itself to help people rethink the stuff cluttering their lives and getting in the way of their preferred goals. And for those people who just want a room organized without the soul-searching, Becky has a system and/or helps people find the organizational structure that works for them.
Description of Work: Becky helped me organize the garage and gave me pointers and ideas on how to go through other areas and organize them. The garage was a more than one day project in itself. I received there service as a gift.

I contacted Becky shortly before getting ready to host my young son's birthday party. We had recently moved into our house, had way too many toys, and my few attempts at organizing the playroom myself were quickly undone by my children and their friends. Because of the lack of organization, my children didn't know where exactly to put toys away and things were becoming quite a jumbled mess. I was ambivalent about getting organizational help and was a bit embarrassed about the mess. But I was so harried from unpacking and trying to prepare for the party, as well as tackle the playroom, that I contacted Becky. She was very flexible in working around my schedule and we worked together for several hours. She taught me a system to keep things organized going forward. She has a great eye and made the toys, books, and art supplies both presentable and accessible. I was worried about someone passing judgment on me, but instead she was incredibly supportive and also pleasant to work with. She brought bags so that we could pack old toys and books for donation and easily discard broken toys. Together we talked through what was worth keeping and I really liked that she didn't push me to get rid of things. That afternoon, after Becky left, I realized that the money spent was so well worth it and I looked forward to moving on to party planning. Most importantly, we have easily been able to maintain the playroom and my children know that everything has an appropriate place. This service definitely exceeded my expectations.
