ONiT Painting

Matt was very responsive and professional in providing a quote. He even quickly turned around a revised estimate when we requested a change in scope. Ultimately, we didn’t have the budget to pay for professional painters and decided to complete the work ourselves. However, Onit painting did provide us the most cost effective estimate of the three companies we contacted.

Did not hire as I interviewed with the owner of the company who came out to price the jobs and give a proposal. I had him price every room in the house and rooms would be done alacart since we live in the house it takes time and space to empty and move items from rooms to be painted to rooms not being painted. In the interview I found out that they do not remove electrical outlet cover plates or bathroom mirrors that they just tape it up and paint around that was all I needed to hear NO THANKS! I am looking for painters that paint PROFESSIONALLY! I have seen some painters that are so skilled that they didn't need to tape off wood work they were really that good but even they knew you remove electrical outlet covers, bathroom mirrors and furnace vent returns. I also found that they were more expensive than other painters who actually took all the extra steps. So I DID NOT HIRE.

They were wonderful! All aspects of the job were done exceptionally well. Chris gave us a fair estimate and we scheduled to have the work done in April. Due to our situation we had to reschedule for September. Maleni was very east to work with in scheduling us. The guys from Onit showed up early and worked late. There was a bit of a mix up in work to be done and cost. However, Chris was very easy to work with in resolving the issue. Their attention to detail was fantastic. My wife is a bit of a "painting snob" and she has been VERY complimentary! When we have any painting that needs to be done, we will call Onit! Great job!!

Paintco did an excellent job on the painting of our walls and cabinets. From the beginning of the process of obtaining an estimate to the completion of the job, they were extremely flexible and responsive. Nate Akers, owner, made a visit daily to check on the progress and quality of the work being done. The pricing was well in line with my expectations which is always a plus! I will definitely have them back when we’re ready for the exterior of the house.

Matt Hicks at Paintco visited me and set me up with a "Painter for 8-hours plus $100 supplies" for $450. They worked with me and honored my list of black-out dates. They agreed to do the prep and paint priming on day 1 and the final paint coats on the next day. This turned out just right for the above fence work after I added the vent job to utilize the full 8 hours. The painter (Barry) put in a full, hard working 8 hours as promised. He put on a full coat of primer on day 1 and two finish coats on day 2. But, what really impressed me is that he did his work with a high degree of thoroughness and quality! For example, he decided to latex caulk all of the board overlap seams to keep out moisture and further increase the fence lifetime. Before that, he sanded the entire fence very thoroughly. The painter was very professional and responsive. The fence looks fantastic, and is very well protected from the elements! I certainly recommend Paintco as a trusted home improvement supplier.

Not well. I started out to say I found Paintco on Angie's List so they would know that Angie's List was my reference. The girl who answered the phone was very unprofessional and aloof. I described to her that I am looking for someone to come out to give us a quote on staining a small privacy screen that is mounted on the rails of our deck. There were several long silent pauses, I had to actually ask if she was still on the phone with me. She finally told me a small job does not require someone to come out to give a quote. I gave her the dimensions of the screen and told her that it probably would not take more than an hour to complete. She said the only option I had would be to pay $400 for 8 hours of work. Obviously Paintco has plenty of work that they can't be bothered with a small job like mine. And I understand. It's not a big job, but based on the phone person's lack of customer service skills, I will never call on them again.

Paintco was extremely professional and did very good work. Their quote was very reasonable and they finished the work on time. My front door wouldn't lock properly. So they called me to notify me since the house was vacant. I live out of state and I am trying to sell the property. They also fixed my front door free of charge, something that they didnt have to do but did. They took pictures of their work since I wasnt there to inspect their work and sent it to me. I am very happy with their service, their professionalism and their dedication to satisfy the customer. I would highly recommend them!

PaintCo Painters were a pleasure to work with. The paint color consultation helped eliminate the guess work for the three colors we chose. The painting crew completed the project promptly. They also returned to touch-up any minor issues we found.

They did an excellent job. They were very professional and timely. Everyone who comes to our house ask us who painted because it looks so good.

From the moment of contact until the moment of completion, Paintco painters were on top of everything! We called and were able to get a quote within 2 days. Chris walked around and measured everything out so that we were insured with a fair price. He also gave a short spiel on who they were as a business, and explained their process (very professional). He was able to get a quote to us that day through email detailing what all would be included with that quote. There was no doubt that we were going to choose them for our project. We also had scheduled a color consultation with Emilie to come to our house and help us with what colors would look good in the home. The colors we had were grey, but the lighting was pulling a lavender color. She selected the best colors for what we were wanting and everything turned out so good. no more Purple! The process started on November 8th, and they even went out of their way to ensure that the painting would be done before our Thanksgiving on the 18th, and it was! I highly recommend choosing Paintco painters for any painting needs. I know I will contact them if i ever need anything else in the future.

The project manager Mike was very good and easy to work with. The onsite supervisor Luis and his crew did a great job with the painting and trim repairs (for dry rot) and the house now looks great! I have already been getting compliments from my neighbors on good it looks. Nice job Paintco!
